View Full Version : John's Aussie Tour

Hi everyone

Well John started his Aussie tour here in Perth, WA with two shows - one Friday night and one this morning. I was lucky enough to be able to go to both shows.

I did not get a reading however did not go with that expectation, just to enjoy the show and get as much from the experience as possible.

It was a great experience, better than in Melbourne last year as it was a smaller venue I think but still about 3500 people to each show. I was amazed how he could pinpoint people from everywhere in the arena.

His sense of humour was great and he was having a hilarious time coping with the "language". Many words commonly said in US mean something completely different here but he is learning quickly.....usually when the audience cracks up and he doesn't know why.

The readings were quite long but mainly due to people having difficulty validating some things and he spent a lot of time just persisting and going over the same thing until it clicked somehow. Sometimes though the connections were really out there and were people you would not think of immediately to connect to yourself, ie one was that he was picking on this man about a younger male that had crossed and it ended up being his wife's brother in law's nephew.

There was a really funny moment when he asked one lady about whether a horse on her sisters farm had just had/or was about to have a foal...she didn't know so he said "Do you have a cell phone...lets call her". When she got her sister on the phone she said "Margaret...I have John Edward on the line and he wants to speak to you". The audience just cracked up completely and they went on to validate a few things they had just been talking about. It was amazing.

Any way it was just great, he seemed really relaxed and enjoying himself. The weather here is great at the moment and he said that Sandra and Justin were travelling with him also this time.

He said that after his last Oz visit, his office received soooooo many emails from disgruntled people in Perth that he decided he must come here first on this trip. He did also mention that he knew his fans in the UK were also a bit put out that he hadn't been there yet either and he had now been here twice so keep sending those emails, they obviously do make a difference.

Anyway, all for now....if i remember anything more I will post again.

love

Thanks Tracey for the post. I am glad they are having a good time and that the weather is good. Didn't you all have quite a heat wave recently? I wondered if it would still be that hot now - glad it wasn't though.

I think I mentioned in another thread recently, that Carol said she would have to travel to England first, to check out some venues. So, you know it won't be announced any time "soon". It will take her a bit of time to get over there, check things out, and then make some plans before they announce it.

Just stay in their faces!!! (write lots of emails, letters, etc.)

That's why the mailbox is always full when you send them an email!!:lwink: It's Ann!!!!

Well I sent another myself today. I mailed that "package" last week, so it should be there about now. Pam - do you know who checks those emails - is it just a few people, or dozens of them? I know we expect you to have all the answers - but you usually do!:teacher:

Right - I may just book that holiday abroad, if we think that it'll be some time yet...........

Last night the wait was over. We finally got to see John in person.

The amazing thing is, that despite the size of the venue the Home of the Australian Open Tennis tournament and the fact that there were between 5000 to 8000 people, the intimacy was incredible.

You just felt that he was talking to all of us on a one to one basis. It felt more like sitting on the couch setting of the show and you were watching friends being read.

He gave us about 1 hour of explanation of the process. Whilst, I've read his books and have the self developmental cd's, it was incredible because his spirit just shone through.

It is also true what he says. It makes no difference where you are sitting, if its meant to be you will get a reading!

The majority of the readings where of people sitting up in the "Gods" section. I got dizzy just looking up to find them.

A young woman said that she has been told that her son is psychic and asked for advice. John recounted how as a child he could see a wolf in his room at night. Intellectually, he knew it was not possible but the wolf was there. At the time his family lived in a 2nd storey appartment in Queens!!

Years later at a book signing he thinks at Tuscon (sorry if spelling is wrong) a shaman said to him " I see you have a wolf". John nearly jumped out of his seat and asked "you can see him?"

John said that was his first experience of totem animals.

It appears that at the end of last tour the Hay House gave him a dictionary of Australian slang with phrases circled. Like John said, now you give it to me!!!!

The bloopers from his last tour were side splitting. John said that we speak the same language but my goodness can meanings vary!!!

The energy in the room was incredible. Very relaxed, like a group of friends that have not seen each other for ages, but reconnect in a heartbeat.

There was lots of me too readings, of people sitting in front or behind connecting with relatives.

The surprise was the large number of males in the audience in the their 20's or 30's, particularly their openness to the message.

We did not get read but I think that I personally could not have handled at this point. I am just grateful that I was part of the experience.

The experience has left me with an incredible peace.

I just hope that he has allowed some time for R & R whilst he is here with his family. The weather yesterday was 36 celcius and I sincerely hope that they are down at the beach today relaxing.

What a lovely recount you have done Anna. Thank you so very much.

I can attest to the wonderful feeling you have now that you have attended a seminar. And, you are correct. You honestly feel that John is speaking directly to you. He is one gifted soul. I am so glad we have him.

Be sure to mention anything else that comes to mind. It is always a pleasure to 'relive' the experience of being there too.

Blessings,

Thank you so much for your report Anna. :) Sounds like it was a good seminar and that John was relaxed in front of all of you. He had a lot of laughs last year describing his hilarious language bloopers in your beautiful country. He mentioned them at most of his seminars here.

I did notice he was allowing some fun and rest time between seminars. You can't go that far not do some touring.

Anna, didn't you just love the guy who got up and said (in all seriousness) John you alsways tell us to tell people in this life that we love them, well I love you John!! It was just a great experience to see that.

Yes the reading were amazing and John spent a long time with each reading, making sure the people got the message thay were supposed to.

There was one reading where, he honed in on a man who was most uncomfortable about bing in the limelight. The man was having great difficulty validating anything but John persevered and sad that he felt that the reason why he (John) was here tonight was for this man. Turns out the man's wife (who was sitting beside him) has a brain tumour. John handled this reading with great compassion and gave her some important messages as well as asking the whole audience to send her loving thoughts to help her with what is ahead of her. Fortunately the tumout is benign, much to relief of all.

I agree with Tracey that his readings were much better than last year's Melbourne show, but I put that down to the fact that last year we were at the end of a very busy schedule and he was probably just exhausted.

I also loved the reading where he was stunned to find that in Australia we shoot horses to put them down. This was totally foreign to him.

Hi All , I was fortunate to be see JE in Sydney. Here were some thoughts.

Last night was wonderful. I thought the energy of the place was a lot calmer and I really felt that everyone there was really happy for those being read. I felt that people really did 'Get it" and were enjoying being part of the experience.

John said he felt Australians were more spiritually connected than other countries. ( sorry guys, I just had to brag)
John was as usual delightful and it really was like a episode of crossing over. i felt people validated information so much more quickly, and I didn't feel as frustrated as I did watching people last year.
I also thought John was tired. Its been a hectic shedule and I felt for him.

My 13 year old daughter came with me and she worried about him all night. She felt so nervous for him and hoped he wasn't too uncomfortable trying to understand our accents.
I put my hand up to ask a question and she's beating my arm down saying "Oh no you dont" Arnt kids cute. I'm so glad I am way past that being so embarrassed stage.

I didnt need a reading, but because I feel like I've been part of the JE experience since it started, I would really have liked to talk with him. ( I know. me and everyone else!!!!!!!). I would so like to be part of a seminar, and talk about all things spiritual.

I thought it was interesting when he talked about dying and doing a life review. He said to remember that guy from New York who came and told us to live more spirituallly.

One of the most priceless moments of the night was when Leon came out and said John had gone out again in Brisbane to the zoo, to see his girlfriend!!!!!!!Hilda!!!!
There was a silence in the room as he said that he meant Harriet and that Harriet was a turtle John had bonded with!!!!
I thought Sandra's going to love hearing that one!!

He told everyone who brought hats, coats, rings, books etc and those who meditated, chanted, or what ever in the belief that they would be read to just forget it . The people who are supposed to be read will, and you cant manipulate the process.

He was breathtakingly accurate and people in the whole room would gasp at some details that he gave. He was funny, charming, and I will be on a high for quite a while.

He never mentioned anything about the cancellation of crossing over

I truly feel for you guys in England. I know what is has meant to me to have been able to see JE and be part of an experience like that. I truly hope he will visit you soon.

And thought it might be good to put here: Keeping in mind, this was written the night after coming from seeing him.

I have just had one of the best experiences of my life: Seeing John Edward in person, live, on his Australian tour in Adelaide. I still can't believe I was there. It was absolutely wonderful. It really was. It went for 2 1/2 hours, but it somehow seemed longer, but at the same time far too short. Does that make sense?

The theatre was packed. Only the one or two spots now and then around the place were empty. I couldn't tell the time lapse that was going on, but for about the first 1/2 hour to hour he talked about his work and how and what he does. Then he answered a few questions from the audience. And, do you know what? No one, not even John, mentioned the cancellation of the CO show. No one. It was suprising in a way, because I thought it'd been top on everyone's list. But, nope. Not ever brought up.

Then it was on to the readings. I think it was about 10 or so people who got read. I lost count. I myself didn't get a reading, but I don't think I wanted one in a way. It isn't that I know my family history, but... I don't know, there was something inside me that was hoping that nothing would come through. There was one time where he panned our row to go up to the upper seats, and it looked like he was going to stop, and I couldn't help but be relieved that he didn't stop. It was like whew. I must say, though, when you see him on TV, he seems fast, doesn't he? But, he wasn't in a way.

He didn't go from person to person to person within a second of each other. There were significant pauses, where he'd talk to the rest of us about what and who had come through, or to take questions again. But, he does stay on one person for no matter how long it takes, just to get the validation of the information that was coming through. I was a bit disappointed for one young fan sitting two seats next to me, (she would have been about 9 or 10), who, when he did ask for q's, raised her hand each time. Each time, though, he never picked her. Which was a pity, really.

He talked about the cultural differences between two places. Namely here and America. Like the difference between the two words "Spoof" and "Parody." I thought they had the same meaning, but I have watched the DVD Australia Spot On, and it flashes up on the screen the real Aussie meaning of the word
Spoof. Apparently a slang for something very much different. Needless to say, I will never use that word again! And we all cracked up when he mentioned a "Unique" Br name like Bruce. Now, as all Aussies will know, that is not a very, shall we say, unique name. If you don't know, there is a long-running joke that Bruce is the Aussie name, and that every second male has that name. They don't but that's what people say. (Seen the Monty Python sketch "Bruces?" Which is based entirely about that joke?)

I didn't know it before today, but a couple of people I know were there as well. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and if you ever get the chance, don't pass it up at any costs. John Edward is a very energetic, compassionate, true psychic, who does care for his people, the audience, and it is quite a magical experience that none should pass up if they are given the chance. I can summarise up the show in one word: Wow.
Katherine.
PS: Did I mention that it is worth seeing? Deffinately worth seeing.

Thanks for your view of the show, its seems that you too had a good time at the seminar. I keep hearing that young people(children age) were in the audience, I didnt realise that so many children went to these seminars, I would have been scared at their age. There were a few young people in the audience, though how many, I really couldn't tell from where I was (did the post happen to mention I had snagged a front row seat, btw? I can't remember.) I think at that age, I would have been heavily into all things supernatural (spirits, other worlds/dimentions/planes, psychic powers, etc.) I place it down to being an avid fan of TV Shows like X-Files, Sliders, Mysterious Ways and the such, and the fact that my parents allowed me to open up to those subjects. They never stopped my beliefs, even though they do not share them, and I thank them for it. I think if John was as big then as he is now, I would have tried to get a spot at one of his appearences. I'd let my children go and see him.

Katherine.

Your collective experiences sound utterly fantastic! Thank you so much all of you who were able to attend in Austraila!

Koala, as to your question about the DVD - I asked John's staff and they wrote back that it will be released through his website, however it is not available at this time. You can purchase a copy of it through the Austrailian Hey House website, however you have to have a multi zone DVD player in order to view it.

Hopefully it will be available in the near future. (Hint Hint for any of John's crew who may see this post...)

G'day!!

Well it's been 1 week since we saw that beautiful man JOHN EDWARD....This is my 4th time of seeing John in action, - all in Sydney. He was very relaxed and witty as ever, some fantastic readings came through. I was 8 rows from the front at the Sunday show and boy were my eyes glued (and ears of course), he got stuck with validations in 2 sections. 1 was a family of about 5, one by one they stood up as John would say their name and he had some information for them, one of the brothers there acknowledge his daughters name, then John asked how old she was....22 the man said, John asked was she here too...No....John asked the man to sit down, then went onto explain he was getting 'flutters', which usually meant a pregnancy, I think the man went a couple of shades whiter, John then went on to say he could be wrong, it may be for another friend of hers - but someone like a daughter to him... Another section was taking about 15 mins to get the right person, every man and his dog (aussie expression) had their hand up claiming it was for them, finally John legged if off the stage upto the section, pointing it's right here!!...everyone cheered (so atheletic!...calm down girl)... finally he got the message across to the right person.
:jumper: Another reading involved a "funky soup" - could be fish John said cringing....a lady said it was a prawn soup. John dry-reached, then she went into detail about poking their eyes out. John then gave her a Time Out signal - still dry-reaching and said the people in the front row are about to wear his lunch. It was hysterical (not for him I imagine).....
I hope you have enjoyed these little stories, as I think of more I'll post them.

Take care from Down Under,
Annette

well.. we have had accounts from almost every venue he atteneded in Australia.. So I guess its my go for Brisbane!!

OH WHAT A NIGHT!!

We had the 'Nose bleed seats" (the ones right up the top) at the Brisbane exhibition and convention centre.

John started of with the terms of Slang that he had used, and yes.. spoof.. and ring.. (turns out our meaning has something to do with your posteria..)

was one of the topics of conversation.. as john started, he got a very pushy feeling, and had to go to one of the sides of the room, and he got a reading from a girls crossed over grandfather, who validated using an icecream cake as a validation, then he moved on, and got another to come through, a young girls father, who had passed over when she was something like 2 months old.

Then john moved onto questions, some people go phycic amnesia, and took so long to read..

This one woman asked if people who were skeptics would still come though, he said yes.. and then he asked, is your father passed.. is he the skeptic?? she said, yes.. he then went on to say that she shouldn't say that, cause john was getting that he wasnt a skeptic man.. they went on and she said on my marriage .. and john cracked, and said.. on your mariage.. she got him a beauty, and said.. well at least i didnt get ringed!!

Then there for some other questions asked, and a girl about 6 seats away, got selected for a question, and before she could ask, he said.. are you pregnant?? she replied no, turns out that a few seats below and to her right, a lady was there who was pregnant, and the childs grandfather came thought to say congratulations, and a few people with her that night, found out she was pregnant, they didnt know before this!!

As others have said, he is truely amazing, i loved every second of being there, and just being in the same room with him was a very huge privalage.

I honestly dont know how they can say that JE ratings aren't great, for someone who's tickets sold out within 1hr of going on sale.. doesnt that say something? My god mother couldnt even get 5 seats together at all..

I love john, and i love the work that he does, and the serenity that he brings to people..

Cheers

Oh, yes, I remember now. He did mention ring, and also p***ed, another double meaning word (mad/angry, and drunk.) Yes, I'd forgotten about those.

Katherine.
Who still can't believe she was there! And that there was less then half a page review on it in the paper the next day. I thought that was pretty disappointing.
