Before I head up for the night I just wanted to say. Dad, Mom and my Mother - in- law came through !:jumper: It finally happened and I am on cloud nine.. Amy did a great job of passing out the flyers and she said she took notes for me. Another woman in the row behind us also took notes. Something really nice happened to us when we got there. We found Amy and her mom having something to eat before the doors opened . Hubby and I decided to grab something to eat also. A gentleman and his mother looked like they needed a place to sit so we offered them the extra seats at our table. We had a nice conversation. He wasn't there for the seminar he was looking into getting a room for his daughter. We had a nice time while we were waiting to go upstairs. Well getting tired I'll post more later.
Sandy
:jumper: :musicnote Thanks mom and dad !:musicnote

Big congratulations and can't wait to hear all about it after you've had a chance to rest up!
Marcia
I know you're going to think I'm nuts....but I had a "feeling" about you Sandy. When I read the thread yesterday afternoon, of who was going, I thought to myself "how many seminars has she been to, hoping to be read? Maybe tonight will be the night. I hope so."
Very, very cool. I bet you don't stop going to seminars though, HA!
Can't wait to hear about it Sandy!!!!
Congratulations, Sandy, and thanks to your loved ones on the other side  who just made your millennium! :D

These are notes from a nice lady who was sitting in the row behind us.
The first thing John says is who is having thyroid surgery ? I had just been to the dr on monday . I waited no one raised their hand so I did.
He mentioned Nov. connection. My older sister's birthday is in november.
Moms mom passed- I have been working on our family tree and can't find anything out about my mom's mom except we found out she passed a month before I was born.
April connection - my grandson's birthday and mother - in - laws passing.
Male emphysema (sp?) gotta check on that.
Capsized boat, boat sank- In the war my dad was on a ship that was hit by a kamakazee , he was in the water for a while waiting for rescue. John mentioned there were 2 close calls. I have to check on that.
Dad- head problems- he said his head really hurt. - I don't know I didn't see dad in the hospital. 2 fathers then he mentioned Pete. Thats what they called my dad.
He saw a hat with bananas, fruit. He mentioned chiquita banana lady. - I thought it was when he passed over the equator in the service. The men would dress up in silly costumes.
Someone with alzhimers- My aunt chris on my dad's side passed. John said to let the family know that you get your memories back.
He asked if my mom passed and I said yes. He asked if she was "Bitchy, or stringent" He mentioned that she changed when my dad passed. Yes definately !
He asked if mom would make you sit at the table until we ate our carrots. Like forever. - I think thata was my younger sister. I'm not sure.
Then mom brought through my mother-in-law. She said she "let" her live with us . She called her the "old woman" my mother in law was a couple of years older than my mom. He said that my mil enhanced my life. Brought something to our house. - I think after my dad passed my mom was so depressed she focused on her loss . I felt close to my MIL. sometimes closer than to my mom.
He said my dad was a bragger- I said not when I knew him. Then on the way home hubby brought up his other marriages. We think that is what he meant. ( I hope! :lwink: )
He asked who the letter writer was- my dad wrote letters to my mom when he was in the service. She saved them all. My younger sister has them and wouldn't let me see them. John said I should ask my sister about them..(big problem, I haven't talked to her since my mom passed. She was the problem) I may not check into that.
A bridal or baby shower  not sure. I have to check that out also.
Did I get my microwave fixed ???? We just got a new one a couple of months ago because the other one would just stop. The new one pops the circuit breaker and last week hubby asked me to pick up a bigger voltage. ( haven't done it yet) John says its mom letting us know she is here.
He ended by saying Red Roses.....Happy aniversary... My daughters aniversary is in May. I'm not sure.John says " But mom says she won't be there!
I guess thats it. I want more......The smaller venue is so much better.

Sandy, awesome reading, thanks for sharing it!!!!!!!
I hate to butt in, but....
John said I should ask my sister about them

'Course no one is gonna think you're nuts!
Sandy, I'm thrilled for you! What a wonderful happening for you. Um - Do you think that maybe your sister might appreciate knowing that through John, you heard from your family? Perhaps a good way to rebuild burned bridges?
Just a thought.

My dear Sandy - how wonderful is this?
You have waited a long time for this reading and I know that you were in the right spot at the right time.
Did you take any notes regarding the other readings? The small gatherings are the best. I am so glad that he is continuing to do this.
Hugs to you,

You have waited a long time for this reading and I know that you were in the right spot at the right time
This post is from 2 him Chargeit's Husban After traveling around the east coast we were in the right place. As we were talking to a couple behind us from New Mexico we said that her father has some conections around little Jamica and they explained it was just up the road a few miles. So I guess we were in his back yard.
Lou
Congrats Sandy!!! I know you must still be on cloud nine!! ( I still am after our reading in Feb.!!) I am glad you have good notes. At the time of the reading, it is all so overwhelming!
I agree-the small groups are the best!l :jumper:

hey guys!! im home from LaX practice!!! all day long i couldnt wait to post!!! i would have posted last night but i knew if i stayed up later any longer than i did i would never have been able to get up for school!!!!!!
first of all i want to say CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN to sandy and lou!!!! my mom spotted them first as they were coming in, because me, my mom, Monica (bratgirl) and my step-aunt Lisa were having dinner and my back was in the opposite direction.
call it intuition, call it a gut feeling, call it what you want but i just had this feeling that this was the right seminar for us all. i find it amazing how we first met them back in oct at wallingford and then twice in AC. so we have all journeyed together thru john's seminars and finally we had our time.
what was interesting is, we normally sit together at these functions. well for some reason this time we didnt. at this event you didnt have to wait on a long line to be seated--there was a desk and you went up said your name for your reservation and paid and you could go right in. the 4 of us (monica, lisa, my mom and I) wanted to get up front. so monica and i were in the 3rd row while lisa and my mom were in the row behind us. in the beginning i thought its too bad we all arent together but let me tell you its a truly amazing thing how spirit works. lou and sandy were meant to be on that side of the room, while my mom and lisa were supposed to sit next to these 2 ladies from california. a woman and her mom went i believe her name was Leigh Ann. the reason for me saying that it was meant to be was because Leigh Ann received a reading, and her family brought in my mom's family!!!!!!! so we received a reading!!!! but ill get to that later!!! first i want to post what i took.
ok i was writing these as quick as i could because i was watching john and watching you guys all at once lol

refering to her as older woman

Okay since I read that I have not been able to get that song out of my head... Wicked is my new favorite musical, so I was floored but not surprised to see that John also liked it (after all Kristin Chenowith plays Glinda) :)
Anyway here are all the lyrics to Track 18
Wicked is the story of the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz- She actually is more human than the other characters in the play and stands up for what she believes in. The Animals in Oz are being supressed and she stands up for them and says that what is happening to them is wrong. She unfortunately is in the minority and after several attempts to be "good" by the standards of Oz, gives up and becomes "wicked".
Anyway at the end of the play there is this reconcilliation moment between Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda and they sing....
Track 18. For Good
From the musical Wicked
Music & Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz
ELPHABA
I'm Limited
Just look at me - I'm limited
And just look at you
You can do all I couldn't do, Glinda
So now it's up to you
For both of us - now it's up to you...
GLINDA
I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
and we are led
to those who help us most to grow
If we let them
and we help them in return
well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you...
Like a comet pulled from orbit
as it passes the sun
Like a stream that meets boulder
Halfway through the wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good
ELPHABA
It well may be
that we will never meet again
in this lifetime
so let me say before we part
so much of me
is made of what I learned from you
you'll be with me
Like a handprint on my heart
and now whatever way our stories end
by being my friend
Like a ship blown from its mooring
by a wind off the sea
like a seed dropped by a skybird
in a distant wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the
Better?
But because I knew you.
GLINDA
Because I knew you...
BOTH
I have been changed for Good
ELPHABA
And just to clear the air
I ask forgiveness
for the things I've done you blame me for
GLINDA
But then, I guess we know
There's blame to share
BOTH
And none of it seems to matter any more
(Sung together)
GLENDA
Like a comet pulled from orbit
as it passes the sun
Like a stream that meets boulder
Halfway through the wood
ELPHABA
Like a ship blown off its mooring
by a wind off the sea
like a seed dropped by a bird
in the wood
BOTH (Harmony)
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
I do believe I have been changed for the better.
GLINDA
Because I knew you
ELPHABA
Because I knew you
BOTH
Because I knew you ...
I have been changed for good

Thank you for the lyrics. I completley forgot about the "Wicked" comment. I feel like a weight has been taken off of my chest. Has anyone else had that feeling after being read ? When John was taking questions after the break I kept debating on weather I should ask my question or not. I kept saying ok, I'll wait until after this one.....then no I'll wait.... My question was that I know he says they will come through when they think your ready but how long does it take ???? Well my question was answered. :lwink: And I am so glad. I guess they heard my question anyway and decided to answer it for me.
About the letters .....I may have read more into what John was saying . Hubby says he doesn't remember John saying
I should ask my sister about them..(
Maybe it was just me adding more to what I wanted to hear. I did try to email my sister about the letters a couple of times but was unsuccessful. I think I'll drop the issue for now.

You are most welcome for the lyrics.... and I have to agree, even though I didn't receive a direct reading when I saw John in SF, he did bring through something incredibley special for me that validated for me my loved one's on the other side (see blue roses post under the SF Seminar testimonials) and it was incredible - I'm still smiling from it and that was 8 months ago. A weight that had settled on my chest melted when I heard that.
Congratulations!!
Keep trying your sister, when in doubt there is always snail mail.

My husband was checking on his step father's cause of death. It says Ventricular fibullation due to Pulmonary Emphysemia due to pneumonia. I said maybe it was he stepfather but he thinks it still may be my dad. (Dad had pneumonia also ) but my dad's death certificate didn't say Emphysemia :hmm:
