This television show has been mentioned several times in the forum, but I thought I'd post the website address here. It's a regular series on Court TV, called "Psychic Detectives" and it airs every Wednesday at 9pm EST/PST (8 central) More evidence that psychic abilities are becoming more accepted in the "mainstream".

I've been wondering - does anybody know if the Lisa Jackson who produces Psychic Detectives the same Lisa Jackson who produced the HBO documentary chronicling Gary Schwartz' afterlife experiments at Miraval featuring John Edward, Suzane Northrop, Anne Gehman, Laurie Campbell and George Anderson?

I've been watching this series with great interest. I could do without all the psychedelic camera work, but I'm really enjoying seeing what kind of information comes through in these cases and how it is used to solve the crimes. So far in most of the cases, it seems the policemen always disbelieve or expect the psychic to come up with picture perfect details. Once they are educated about the process things work much better.

There was one case where the policeman grew up with the psychic so he knew better what to expect. Another case was a woman who had just begun meditating for her health when she starting getting information on a missing person. I thought it was brave of her to go to the police with the information when she was so new to delivering psychic information. She did locate the person.

In the show I watched last night a psychic gave the police the numbers of a state road (jumbled up - but she told them that) and a clear description of how to find the murder victim's body. They didn't act on it, but a friend of hers did and easily found the site. The psychic told her not to go there, but she did - and ran into the main suspect! Luckily he didn't see her. She was then able to convince the police to check the site and the case was solved.
