My 3 sisters and I are going together. I was told that my mom is a BIG force on the other side. Keeping my fingers crossed and sending good thoughts for some "piece of cake" messages!!

Hi All!! John was fantastic as always. My sisters got many pieces of "the cake."

Right off John started to explain the process and mentioned my mom's name. :wave:


There were stubborn people and it took him a long time to get to someone in a WHOLE section!!! It was worth it though. The woman had lost a child and wanted her to know that the child was OK and with family. He explained that this is why he sticks to his guns and is so adamant about getting the message across!!

When a woman asked a question about someone in a coma and could she protect her unborn child and see it through birth john said absolutely. It was the woman's twin that was in the coma and John told her that her sister made the decision that her child would live.
Through out the reading my sisters and I got validations for my mom.

The whole experience was a joy except...
I was disappointed that we didn't get read but only for one of my sisters. She doesn't really understand the process and I feel she really needed my mom to come through. Hopefully she "heard" John's explanations and it will sink in about getting the "piece of Cake" part. And why the other's got read instead.
I know that she was moved by the stories of the people read.

And as we parted she said I know mom is with us even though she didn't come through today...

Megan I took an artificial blue rose with me hoping!!!

I'm hoping that my sister let some of John's explanations sink in and she gets a better feeling about the whole CO experiences.

We have the opportunity for a Gallery reading with a friends cousin who is a psychic. He's coming up from FL. in Aug and has consented to do a small group reading of no more then 18 people. He likes it small so everyone can get read. This sister doesn't want to participate. I hope by then she'll change her mind....

I have a feeling the power of the blue rose was definitely at work during the seminar, especially if people in your party were read.

Just curious.. did the symbol come through in any of the readings? Did he tell the story of how he got the symbol?

Hi all! I'm attempting to remember correctly ( from the seminar in hollywood), the blue roses came from when he and Sandra were in Italy, and John was turned "off". He had a dream about blue roses preceeding his vacation, and in a store in Italy where they were looking for sculptures, or statues, John kept seeing blue roses ( I forget if he saw it in "reality" in a painting in that store), The owner of this shop, who hardly frequented her store but happened to be in the store that day, became the reluctant recipient of an emotional message from her husband for their anniversary.... ( john mentioned he told sandra he HAD to read this lady..the message was too strong and even he felt the emotion)... something like the 31st of the month, or 31 years married, but john had that number connected to the 31 blue roses in his dream. Definitely not the exact story; for it was back in august when he relayed the tale. But I believe the new symbol came from that experience. Always connecting roses to love, the blue rose expanded on that symbolism.
Heading to akron and cincinnati for my 5th and 6th seminars this year...already had huge piece of cake that night in Hollywood...mom was definitely there...hope she comes through! I'd love to share when I return.

Here is what I remember (I have fragments and littlebear777 helped fill in the gaps... in a little more detail...

The dream - John was invited to the other side by his mentor Shelly Peck - John usually declines, but this time he accepted. He followed her to the other side and he was taken to the hall of education. He was taken to this classroom, filled with people. He noticed that at the back of the classroom were Sandra's two cousins, the only children of an Aunt and Uncle who had tragically been killed the year before. They had not come through to John in a reading yet, so he was alerted to their presence. He got the feeling that this was the class where the newly crossed over go to do the life review and process their transition.

On the side wall he noticed that there was a dead plant. Being as how this was the other side it didn't make sense to him, so he asked Shelly what the dead plant was doing there. She told him that it was up to him to change it.

So he did, and it became a beautiful vibrant blue rose. This symbol would be now used for people who had recently crossed over.

He had his symbol validated a couple of weeks later on his trip to Italy ... he was in heaven there because no one knew who he was and he could walk around in anonymity. Even his tour guide didn't know who he was or what a medium did.

They are in some town (fill in blank - don't recall what town it was) and they are looking at souvenirs and Sandra is about to purchase some souvenirs from one vendor and the guide tells her to hold on that there is a much better souvenir shop across the way. John is waiting outside, when he gets the "feeling" to follow Sandra into the shop. So pushing Justin and keeping a sharp lookout on his outstretched arms to prevent him from grabbing the pretty things on the shelves... as he enters the feeling gets stronger. He is urged to the back of the store and is "lead" to this beautiful statue of Mary? (or some female saint) and she is surrounded by Blue Roses. It is one of the most beautiful statues John has ever seen. He turns his head and he sees a woman behind a counter and this overwhelming feeling of love comes over him for this woman, and his eyes start to well up. Sandra turns to him and says WHAT? John tells her its some one trying to come through, and she replies, well you better go take care of it, I'm not having one of your people come back with us to the hotel.

SO now John is in a bind and he has to tell his guide and interpreter what he does in order to bring through the messages that are coming through for the woman behind the counter.

At first the interpreter was skeptical but obliged to his request and started translating the messages as they were coming through. AT first the woman wasn't validating and then John said something and the rest of his messages fell into place.

It turns out the woman had just lost her husband the week before and today was their anniversary and he always brought her roses on their anniversary and they had been married for a long time - (you recall the number being 31? ) okay so let's say then for 31 years. As John finished the bell in the church down the street chimed 31 times...

I think there is more to this story but that is what I remember... Since August I have tried to remember this story but I couldn't get very far...

I even just wrote John and asked him to publish his story in the newsletter or just write ... then a miracle, I saw littlebear777's post and it clicked and all of sudden I just remembered and had to get it out before I forget, I know there are some details missing, so if someone else remembers the details I am forgetting, I thought this story to be best one I have heard to date, but purely for personal reasons (see my posts about what blue roses mean to me..)

Wow...your account was amazing, and brought the tale all flooding back ...now you filled in the spaces for me! He told the story both evenings at the paladium, but I didn't take notes ..too enchanted and mesmerized by his being.. :rolleyes:

LittleBear777 - You have no idea, for months I have been trying to remember this story but to no avail, and had the details and then when I read your post, it was like the flood gates opened up quite literally and my fingers just started typing. I remembered about as much as you did and then boom - it was wicked cool, I still am hoping that John will publish it somewhere because I'm sure I left out a detail or two, I know that there is more to her reading than what I am remembering and there is more to the validation of the blue rose, but by the time I got to typing that part, the flood gate had slowed to a stream.
