Arrived safely home from Cincinnati after a great weekend. :)

Sunday morning around 7:30 am,Gene (my husband) and I walked across the skybridge from the hotel and onto the second floor of the Convention Center. It was a bit spooky as we seem to be the only ones in the building! Then we looked out the windows and saw nine or ten people sitting outside the main door---in the rain and cold. One of them mouthed "How did you get in?" We tried to explain how, and how they could get in, but we're not too good at pantamine so none of us really understood each other. Later some people did come up, including Krissy.

The Seminar was to be in the Ballroom on the third floor which was still blocked off, and a guard told us it wouldn't be opened up until 12:00. At 11:30 we had a line going and the guard took pity on us and let us go up....straight into the Ballroom! We got seats on the third row, center isle, my favorite place to sit.

The two rows in front of us were marked off reserved and we kept wondering who was going to be sitting there. About 1:00 Carol brought in a group of about six or seven and seated them on the front row, center isle, just in front of me. I thought one of them looked familiar so I went up and introduced myself and, sure enough, it was Angelina! What a nice person she is!

I also met mrsjones and her husband and brother. :wave: She was so sweet and friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to her and her family.

One of the readings that I especially remember was with a young teenage girl. Her mother died of a drug overdose and her sister is also an addict. John spent a good ten minutes counseling her with such insight and compassion I am just amazed.

John started one reading by saying someone was pregnant, and, he said, 'I believe it's a pet.' A couple more facts to confirm he had the right person, and he told her, 'you have a pet that's pregnant, so your dog is pregnant or your cat is about to have puppies.' The audience absolutely shouted with laughter, :laff: and after a second to realize what he had said, so did John. He said something about the medium with the very red face and he did indeed blush.

I didn't take any notes and I don't recall a lot about the readings, hopefully someone else will.

Marcia told me about this reading/discourse on the phone this morning. About how John told her that when she left there, she was going to realize that she had hundreds of people praying for her and sending her positive energy, that she never realized before, from both sides. I was very touched, just by listening to Marcia's description. This is where John shines I believe, in his ability to help people understand that they are loved and supported from the Other Side, and that assitance on This Side is just a prayer away too :)

hi all....LOL don't know how i submitted that last "reply" without touching a button..hmmm..
I got home last evening from Ohio..was blessed to go to both shows. It never ceases to amaze me how John is such light and a teacher and a therapist...I have to get some errands done today after my four days away
but I took pretty good notes this time around, and will post some amzing readings sooon. even john commented at the end of the cinci show that it was amazing!
also where I chose to sit at the cinci show after I searched for that one chair, lol, and then moved to the one I ended up in, I met two wonderful ladies sitting behind me.( they got there after me, and no one sat there for a while) One was a psychic herself and eventually asked to see my hand. She ran hers over mine ( without touching ) and then pinned me down to a "T".. That I was a writer, and it would be children's book as well as another book besides the children's.. ( I'm in the process) my leariness/fear of Love ( I've been let down a few times, let's just say ) getting out of my job within a year ( planning on it ), needing to allow strangers in more (I tend to choose to not socialize much, certainly not on road trips or my solo vacations ) that I can even see the light in my fingertips at times, but may stagnate on how to channel that healing..also offered a validation from my Nanny ( my mom's mom )...when i left the hotel, i just hoped for the word "sparrow" from any readings to know mom was there; or "spider" from my nanny in the same manner. Well these women talked about their friend "Spider" in a story they were sharing. "sparrow" didn't get mentioned, but john refered to birds in a couple of readings, and as signs if your looking for them from the q & a part. And at the end of the show, the lady gave me "Her first crystal" necklace she had bought. It has a stunning pewter hand holding the crystal, and the fingers and nails are in explicit detail...choked me up a bit... :love:
It was indeed a powerful day..I think it was the most enlightening seminar I've been to yet....

hi with my quick check in....thank you for you receptivesness...sometimes when I find Spirit so straight forward, I cringe with delight...excuse that word if it seems offensive, but such validations make my skin crawl, my eyes water (a.k.a.tears >>>shy smile...)and it can be ruff to get over Spirit in SUCH prevailence....so humbling, so immensely beautiful, I can't get over how fortunate and blessed I am to be in this time "life->>my human experience>" LOL a lil' bit, but so lucky to be in these days when Mr. Johnny Edward be on OUR path, that I can't give out enuff gratitude.....

Hello all, here is my account of what happened at the Cincy seminar.....sorry I didn't post it sooner but I have had no internet connectivity since last week due to the internet worm that's been going around....I've missed you all!!!!!

Here it is...hope I didn't repeat too much of what everyone else has said.

Coming within 5 feet of John Edward and actually speaking directly with him: PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!


I had SUCH a WONDERFUL, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE time!!!!!! Where to start? We arrived at the door of the convention center at about 8:30 am…at that time there were a bunch of people standing on the steps in no particular order, since the security guards for the convention center wouldn’t let us form a line (not sure why) but one lady was smart and kind enough to start passing out numbers so that those who got there early had their spot in line reserved. So, about 9:30 they finally let us line up and I started passing out my flyers….I can’t believe how responsive everyone was…they really were all such sweet people. It felt more like a family reunion than a line for a seminar. Everyone was all very cordial and friendly and the atmosphere was very positive. I ended up passing out every single flyer I had (I wish I had made more), which was 150. You would think that some of the people would refuse the flyers, but actually I had several people ask me for one after I had run out. I was asked several times if I worked for John (I WISH!!!!!!), or Crossing Over, or the Convention Center, but I kept responding that I was a member of this website and gave out the address several times. So there we are, standing in line, and I thank God that they let us stand there against the building because it was damp and freezing outside that morning! I was talking to some of the other ladies in line and then all of a sudden an elderly woman standing a few people behind me lost her balance and fell….nearly hitting her face hard on a support pillar for the building. Some of the people in line helped her to sit on the cement against the building, and I ran up to the front of the line and asked security from the convention center to maybe get her a folding chair or something (by this time we had been standing there in the cold, damp air for nearly 2 hours). It’s funny, at first the guy was a little on the mean side with me, saying something to the effect of “Hey, lady, I don’t have a chair for her, so all I can do for you is call 911 and have an ambulance take her away”, but then as I explained that I was not with her, just concerned that she might hurt herself and not seeing a reason he couldn’t let her at least sit down inside, he finally did soften his heart enough to call for a wheelchair for her and they helped her up and brought her inside to wait. I know that this all seems insignificant, but it really shows that positive energy can really be contagious and overcome negativity.

So finally they started letting us in at noon. The line did manage to stay pretty orderly, as they announced that if anyone tried to trample anyone to get ahead in line that they would be ejected from the building. As we went in, I recognized Kelly, one of John’s microphone people from the Chicago Seminar on the 29th. We managed to get GREAT seats….right smack dab behind the camera guy in the center of the room….but he really wasn’t blocking our vision, so that was nice. So they had these two big screens on which they were playing Crossing Over episodes; they played “Becoming John Edward” a few times..which happens to be my very favorite episode. So I looked up and saw Carol Spadaro talking to some people in the front row, and then it hit me, that this was all REALLY happening. The whole time sitting there, I just kept quiet, meditated and prayed for my loved ones to come through and be LOUD, and I didn’t really speak to anyone. I thought about going up to talk to some of the people that I thought I recognized from this site, but wanted to make sure that I kept all my information to myself and keep the process pure…more on that later.

So finally, Carol got up on the stage and announced that she knew that we were all there to reconnect with out deceased loved ones, but that we didn’t need to save seats for them and so we should all move over and let people sit down who were looking for seats, which got a giggle from many of us. A few minutes later John came out and got a standing applause (of course) from us that lasted a couple minutes and he said that welcomes like those are what makes doing what he does all worthwhile. He was wearing grayish jeans and a long sleeve black shirt with tennis shoes. So the first thing I tried to do was see his famous aura, but I couldn’t see it. He went through the standard lecture of the process which we are so familiar with here on this site, and he mentioned something about an email or a website that is being passed around that we should check out…something about “Atlanta Grapes” or something to that effect, but I didn’t get all of it, so maybe someone else who was there can elaborate on that one. He mentioned Michael Logan’s column in Soap Opera Digest, “Logan Crosses Over” and how he is good friends with Mr. Logan. He said that before the column had started that they were friendly, and then became friends, and that Michael had come to him and asked if John thought that a column of this nature would be a success. John told him numerous times that yes, he did think it would be a success because the world was ready for this now…that there was now a widespread acceptance of this work and that people were ready to hear more and learn more and grow more on a spiritual level. Michael asked John how he knew this, to which John simply replied, “I’m psychic”!

John mentioned that he is also working on a new prayer book, but didn’t really go into detail.

Also, during the Q & A portion, John had mentioned how he used to play the piano over and over and over when he was younger and he felt that it had somehow “tuned him” so to speak, he felt that the vibrations of the different notes had helped to align him somehow. He said that as a young kid, working at the deli, he would have this uncanny ability to know exactly what the scale would read when he would put food on it to weigh it for his customers. He just thought it was a cool thing he could do….

Another thing that I though was very interesting was that John gave away one of his little “secrets” from Crossing Over…he said that if you go back and watch the shows, you would find that when he would be giving extremely delicate and personal readings to people, where they would start to become very emotional, he would give the reading, and then immediately walk to the other side of the room so that the camera would follow HIM, thus giving privacy and dignity to the family that had just been read. He said that he doesn’t even go home and tell Sandra about readings because he just doesn’t feel that it is his place to do so. I just love how he handles his work with such dignity and attention to detail!

Now sitting there waiting for John to come out, I had been thinking to myself what a ripple effect John’s work has…and I literally had pictured the ripples in a pond in my head….he started to explain how death had a ripple effect like a penny in a pond. WOW! He talked about how one death can ripple out and could touch ten, twenty, fifty, a hundred or more lives and change each one of them…so true! If you are ever feeling small and insignificant in the grander scheme of things, think about this concept.

During the readings, one of the more memorable moments was when he was reading a woman and her loved one on the other side told John that she had glitter on her toe. This woman, I should add, was sitting about 20 rows back, so there was no way John could see her. She looked at her foot and noticed that not only was there glitter on her foot, but all underneath her chair! John mentioned that that was one of the weirder things they have come through with in a reading. During another reading, John asked a woman if she was pregnant. She said no, and John asked if anyone in her circle was pregnant, like a dog that was about to have puppies or a cat was about to have puppies…we all cracked up! He called himself “The Red-Faced Medium”……it turned out that yes, she had a pregnant cat that was due very soon. He said, ‘well, they are telling me that your cat is going to have puppies’.

To my amazement, John stood up on the stage and stopped, started, and pointed right at me! I literally froze….he said “I’m coming over here in this area. Why are they telling me ‘dragons?’” At first, I couldn’t think (psychic amnesia?) but then with a little help from my husband I remembered that we had just set up a party for my son at a place that had neon dragons painted all over the walls…..with that, I stood up and got the microphone. I told John about the dragons, and he calmly looked at me and said that he didn’t think that that was it, but that I should stay with him and pay attention. A young lady sitting neat me had a shirt on with a dragon on it, but no, that wasn’t it either. He then said that May or the 5th of a month was significant (May 5th is my son’s birthday!) but then John said a few other things that didn’t make sense for me. He then got off the stage walked out into the audience, right where I was sitting and came right near me….and that was when I saw his EYES! I have never in my life seen eyes like his, and TV does not do them justice….I swear they are gold! I am not sure if they had changed because he was psychically “on”, but they were definitely not hazel in color as I had previously thought. That golden color seemed to radiate into his aura and that was when I saw his aura for the first time that night….later it turned up on stage and I saw it there too. He was locked down and not moving. After John was held hostage a few minutes, the information he was given made perfect sense for one family, and then a second….it turned out to be a very funny reading. One thing I do want to mention here is that I noticed that he paces…like an agitated tiger…when he gets “locked down” like that and can’t move on. It is really very interesting to watch live….

So after several readings and a brief Q & A, John gracefully wrapped things up after a prompt from Carol that time was nearly up (it seemed like he could go on all evening, his energy was very high) John asked whose birthday was that day, and a woman stood up and proceeded to thank John for his work and told him that she had been at a very low point in her life and if she had not found Crossing Over when she did, she would not be standing here today….John seemed very humbled by that.

Once the seminar was over, and acting purely on a hunch, I went up to the people I recognized from this site. I saw “Unicorn” simply because she had a shirt on with a picture of a unicorn…I went up and introduced myself and she was very nice…we spoke briefly and although we didn’t really exchange much information (got to keep the process pure, of course), we did introduce our husbands and it was very funny because after I told her husband that I was just “plain ol’ Mrs. Jones”, he said to my husband “Hi, Mr. Jones, I am Mr. Unicorn!”…..I also had the pleasure of meeting Marcia…wonderful lady! What an absolutely great time….I can’t wait to go again!!!!!

One more thing I need to add here…..a million brownie points for my wonderful, loving husband, for letting me “drag” him to the seminars and being a very good sport about it. He’s the best! :love:

Oh yeah, one more thing....about the dragon reference that John brought up...today as I mentioned is my son's birthday. Now, I had not told him anything about the seminar, other than that we had a great time. I never went into specifics with him. So this morning he hands me a picture that he drew....of an oriental DRAGON!!!!!!! He has never drawn a dragon before to my recollection. Hmmm.....maybe a "me too" in there somewhere.... :hmm:

Aw, Thanks Amy.....at first I really did think that it was for me (or else I wouldn't have grabbed that mic..it's really not in my nature to stand up and speak in front of a crowd of people), but then John gave some other information ....he was getting "Alf" and a ladder, and a "B" name. Nope, nope and nope. The May 5th and the dragon reference did fit for me, but it also fit for two other families. I am thinking that this is why John always says that people sit together at his seminars because they were meant to, because all of the families were in the same section as me! So, I will take my piece of that cake (delicious as it was) and smile and savor it. :) What a wonderful gift :jumper: :jumper:

I do remember John talking about playing the piano. He said that he would play for hours until his wrist was hurting. But when he stopped he could still hear the music in his head and he would start playing all over again.

He also mentioned that Crossing Over was out of production. I don't know if he has talked about that at the Seminars before.

It was a pleasure to meet both you and Unicorn. I see that the two connections John made that stood out to me also stood out to you; the young lady in so much pain and the woman who thanked John for keeping her on this side and leading a better life. I don't think he quite knew what to say, but it was quite a tribute to the impact of Crossing Over with John Edward. I don't know about you, but as he was telling that young woman that there would be a whole room full of friends praying for her after they left that day, he said exactly what was on my mind. I thought you could literally feel the people in there turn their energy toward her. It was just awesome. :thumbsup:

Marcia....absolutely! I also felt so much energy turn from John directly to the young lady and I could tell that she felt it, too. It seemed to comfort her. You know, when you see things like that happen on Crossing Over, it just isn't the same as seeing it in real life. It's so touching and it must be so rewarding for John to be a part of that.

It's funny, Unicorn and I were talking afterward and we both realized that we had come prepared with our pads of paper, ready to take notes, and didn't write down a single word! :laff: John is so endearing to watch and I think that because I was so focused on watching him and living the moment that I can now recount everything in great detail....he is simply amazing! I just hope that one day I will get the honor of meeting John and shaking his hand and thanking him for all that he has done.....what else can I say?

Ok...here is the story of the lavalier microphone that John related at the seminar....

John said that the last time he had been to Cincinnati was a year ago to the day of us being there on May 2nd. He said that it was one of his favorite places to go, and that anytime he came here he would be reminded of what had taken place at that last seminar. He was sharing the venue with Suzanne Northrop, his good friend and fellow psychic. Before the program started, they had been talking about how they were going to arrange the program, who would talk and do Q & A and who would read in what order....and so it was decided that John would talk and do readings, then Suzanne would come out and do her portion of the program. So Suzanne had gotten off the stage and left the room while John was talking. After she left, John said that you could hear a brushing noise of a microphone rubbing against clothing, and he remembered that Suzanne had been wearing a lapel (lavalier) microphone. Obviously the mic was still on and John told the staff there to have Suzanne turn off her mic. He went on with readings and had gotten pulled to a section of the venue and it was probably the most sad, intense reading of the evening. A woman had lost her son and John was delivering messages. John started "Your son really wants me to tell you..." and then over the speakers, very loudly,

FFFFLLLLLUUUUSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!

So when Suzanne came back into the room, everyone was laughing and she had no clue as to why. When the program was finished, John found out that Suzanne had actually given the mic to someone else, so IT WASN'T EVEN HER! How embarrassing! :laff: :blush:

I finally took notes the whole seminar...i think John is one of the greatest teachers, and I snagged some wisdom.
---we are here to learn, understand and grow..and if someone you know has someone who passes ( or even not ) we should "listen, talk and celebrate"
---the Soul is here to learn, teach, and grow in this classroom of life, the "University of the Universe.."
---He said how wonderful it would be if we could all advance spiritually, like we have technologically..( called it the cell phone from the othr side..)
---Life can change in one moment ( not just death), and we need to remember being in that one moment..
He talked about the way Spirit comes through--songs ( he commented on the uncanny nature of a song being where you are, like there is spiritual d.j. up there ), scents, and dreams. defininely electronics...
To explain (probably for the upteenth time ), he described how he envisions messages..like if you imagine Mickey Mouse in your mind's eye and it will become superimposed...that is how he said he envisions messages; and the feeling and sensations from "your mind's ear"..
he told us how he centers before and after each show with prayer...before the show to " surrender my ego and serve " ( bless him!!!) and after to say thank you to Spirit in case we forget to....

I did take notes on the readings, but I have to get ready for work...Just a cool quickie tho...I had put on a purple glitter sunblock, ( for the glitter..there was no sun LOL ) and he mentioned the glitter which when it was under this lady's chair, he even said " that's freaky "...then mentioned being adopted..maybe pertaining to being raised now on the other side... I am adopted.. then he said is there a minnie? ( or Mickie..everyone laffed at that) and I am Mindi...felt connected and me-too'd ( after my heart stopped pounding in my ear....)It was a very powerful day, and I am honored to have been a part of it... more later

Hi, Stephanie....

Yep, no doubt about it...his eyes were gold. Not brown, not hazel, but GOLD. I only saw it when he was very close, about 5 feet. The gold color was sort of all around him. It was definitely NOT studio lighting or anything like that. Actually it was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen and I won't ever forget it! :angel:

As far as the green color....I only saw that as more of a "mist" over his shoulders as he paced across the stage....I only saw that for a split second. I didn't see the white aura that many people say they see around John.

Hi, Stephanie! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I have been having TONS of computer problems due to some worm attacking my PC...but all seems to be running well now. Anyway, I am a 36/9 (this is also John's number), and that particular number was brought up on the numerology thread....here's what was said:

I just got back from work and checked in to find all this.

I will say that Dan Millian's book is how I found out about the different life path #'s but JE is the one who made me decide to explore the subject in the first place.

36/9's freak me out because they seem so consistant in being determined at some point in discovering their spiritual side. So, when I read your post I could see that you were on your path.

Numerology is really fascinating. I know you're gonna enjoy learning about it. It has helped me a great deal. I just wish I'd have known about all this stuff a long time ago. It would've been much easier.

I also share the 36/9 path.

Here's a freaky little story that might interest you.

JAC2001 and I went to the Jan. 30th bridges seminar this year and we had front row seats. When John first came out he looked in my direction and seemed a little startled. I didn't really think anything of it at the time because there where a lot of people taking pictures.
Later when he was taking questions a man who was somewhere to the left of me in the third row stood up and asked a guestion about why some people can relate better to some than others.
I don't remember exactly what John said but I do know that when he was finishing answering the question he said that some people relate better to others because we have the same energy and I swear he lowered his gaze and looked meaningfully right at me.

I am definitely not an authority in numerology...just learning. But if it interests you, too, then you might want to check out the threads on numerology here on this site...I have learned a lot. It seems to be something that is best taken a bit at a time to aid in the understanding process.

...also...some interesting little tidbits from the Cincy seminar.....John had said that he was getting messages about Alf, a ladder, a "B" name and a dragon. Well, I already explained about the dragon picture that my son gave me....I asked him more about it and you may be interested to hear what he had to say.

He drew that picture the day of the seminar. He had been staying with his grandparents and his grandmother gave him a skateboard for his birthday, which she purchased from a company named ALF! She took him to a skate park and while he was there a child got stuck on some of the equipment and they needed a LADDER to get him down. The "B" name? My in-laws' last name starts with a "B". Hmmm...could that be stretching things a bit? :hmm:

Her son was a huge dragon fan...and is named bob..

OK this is driving me nuts and I have to ask.....at this seminar, John mentioned something about either an email or a website that was passed to him and all I can remember him saying is something like "Atlanta Grapes" or "Atlanta Peaches", something to that effect. Can anyone shed any light on that for me? I put those phrases into my search engine and come up with a whole slew of stuff....none of it relevant. John said that we should all go home and check it out....I don't think he ever gave us an actual web address though. Anyone? :shrug:
