Yesterday, May21st, was the Indianapolis seminar. Anyone go? It would be very unusual if no one on here attended one of John's large seminars. :)

I was there. :) Didn't get read this time though, but that's ok. I noticed he took a LOT more questions than usual, and not too many readings.

my3monkeys, we would love to read any details you remember from the seminar. Any questions and answers you found interesting or any readings you really liked. :)

Hmm, let me see..

One thing that we noted was that the readings that were done were mostly children that had passed, and revolved around comfort for the mothers left behind. One reading was for a woman's husband and daughter who had been murdered...that was really sad.

John talked about suicide, and how it's never the answer, because you take your issues with you instead of leaving them here.

I can't think of much else at the moment...it went really fast, but felt like not much happened, if that makes sense. If I remember more, I will post.

Thank you for sharing my3monkey's. I guess it does go to show that everything does happen for a reason. Hopefully his message helped those in the audience that night, particularly if anyone was contemplating an exit from this world.

All the best

I did attend the Indianapolis seminar on May 21. This year was twice as big as last year. I believe last yr was around 2200. This yr someone told me there were 4400 tickets sold. The things I noticed different were, he mostly took questions. He really didnt do very many readings at all. Seemed like there were just a handfull of readings. I also noticed he didnt leave the stage. When I seen him before in Indianapolis he walked the entire room. I think overall there were between 7 or 8 readings. (If Im wrong about how many, hopefully someone can post & correct me) The first half of the readings really didnt hit straight on target. The first 3/4 of the show he seemed like he was having an off night. The last half hour he seemed to be getting on track. The last few reads were very good. There was one especially that was completely on target. A woman asked about pets seeing passed loved ones. He went on to describe what she herself was seeing. He also mention how the dog was acting, and even said the name of her dog. Also there was a mention of a teddy bear, that the mom had actually the night before found in the bed of one of her children. She said she couldnt figure out how he got the bear, cause it was high upon a shelf. I do love going to his seminars, and I am sure I will also attend next year. I will either go to Chicago, or the Indianapolis one. I think JE is an amazing medium, and person. I think being human allows you to have days when its just not going to be a knock your socks off evening. He is only human. I did enjoy the show. I just felt last year was a more entertaining seminar. Saying that, I still love um ;) He still is tops in my book. Im glad I went !!!

Well, I had a wonderful time. I took my daughter who is 5 months pregnant, we dont get to spend that much time together so this was going to be a special event in more ways than one.

We got there pretty early--about 3:00, gates open at 5:30, and the line had already went from inside the building to outside and down the street. The tempeture that day was Only 87 degrees in the shade!! Since my daughter is pregnant and standing in the hot sun was starting to wear on her I suggested we go inside and sit down in the air conditioning and wait. A friend of mine from work was in there with her mom and told us to come over and sit by them, which we did.

After sitting there for a while my friend said they wanted to use the restroom and grab something to eat, no big deal. By that time it was really getting crowded and people were getting anxious and my daughter said she was having some pressure pains so we moved to where she could sit and stretch her legs. Then a "person" accused us of jumping in line!! She even had the police come over and tell us to leave. They wanted proof that we had been standing with my friend and her mom. Well, what do you do when you have three sherriff deputys wanting to kick you out of line??? We left, I was so mad I could of spit bullets-- how pety could someone be to kick a pregnant woman out of line???

We went toward the restrooms, didn't see my friend anywhere and went back outside. By this time the line had stretched almost two city blocks long. A really nice man seen us, noticing my daughter was pregnant and offered to let us stand behind him and we got in the building in no time. We ended sitting about half way back, on the isle, really good seats. The lady that had us kicked out of line on her many trips to the restroom or "wherever" we noticed got right up in front like she wanted, but the funniest thing happened--John didn't even read anyone up front, he actually seemed to completely look over the first few rows and concentrated mostly on the middle and the back of the room!!

Then low and behold he stopped a lady comming out of the bathroom in the back of the auditorium and it was my friends mom!!!!! John read her while she was standing by the bathroom door!!! An actual person I know was read by John Edward and what he told her was right on the money!! So like he says if your met to be read you will no matter where you sit. After talking to my friend about what all John told her mom there is no doubt in my mind what so ever that he isn't real. There is no way he could have known about the things he said unless he got it from beyond. Yeah I would have liked to have been read but I am happy that at least someone I know did, And John is so interesting and funny!! I would love to see him again sometime.

Yes I admit I was always wondering if he was for real, all my friends think I'm nuts but after the seminar and what all happened with my friends mom I KNOW he is the real deal--no doubt!!!!!

LOL! I had forgotten about the lady that was in the bathroom. How funny! That's really neat that you knew her too.
You must've gotten in line not long after my husband and I did. We got in line just before 3, and within a few minutes, the line behind us was out the door. We felt bad for everyone outside, because it was HOT.

Well, the best I can remember which I confirmed with my friend is that John told her mom that he seen boxes and said you are planning a move-- which is right. She has been boxing items up to prepare for a move to Lafeyette, Indiana. Then he told her about a female to her side, first initial starts with L that was having female problems. After checking with family members after she got home her Aunt Lizzy is scheduled for a hysterectomy in July. He talked about her dad being with a little white curly hair dog, she couldn't remember till they got out pictures of about 15 years ago of her dad and the little white dog who was the only dog that was allowed to come into the house. John mentioned the dogs name but I can't remember that part if it was the same name or close, then he said when she was in the bathroom was she praying that her dad would come thru and she admitted that yes she had been saying that to herself. I think there maybe a couple of more things John said to her but I will have to ask my friend when she comes into work what I have forgotten. Although I have watched the show and read John's books this was my first seminar so I will have to say I've been blowed away by the whole thing and will probably go again if he ever comes this way. I had no idea he came to Indianapolis last year or I would have definetly went to that seminar also. I'm glad to have found this website to share my feelings and thoughts as most of my family and friends think I'm alittle bit strange for believing in this stuff.
