This just in from John Edward's office: "Tonight's (June 8) group had to be cancelled as John came down with a bad stomach virus. We had to call 300 ppl but some we were not able to touch base with. We will have someone at the hotel tonite."

I'm praying, both that John recovers quickly, and that the people scheduled to be there tonight are very understanding, in spite of the disappointment they feel.

I don't recall John ever cancelling a seminar before so he must be feeling pretty ill to do it this time.

Yes, this is a first, (cancelling a seminar) according to Carol. I had something really nasty last week, that made me sleep for hours on end. It was short lived, let's hope this is short lived for John too.

I agree with gail, that he must be quite unwell. He has said many times before that even when he is ill the huge amount of energy he gets before a seminar seems to carry him through.

So i pray for a speedy return back to full health....

aww that is so sad!!! i really hope that john gets better quick!!! do you think he would cancel the upcoming seminars in NJ fri sat and sun? if so, do you think he would re-schedule them? i believe the ritacco center said they would refund the money if anything was canceled. but i pray he gets better soon!

i hope that the people who were going will be understanding.. i mean he is only human!

oh yeah, was there anyone here from the boards going to the seminar that was canceled tonight?

There was a very bad, but short-lived, stomach flu/virus going around here last week, as well. Looks like it's making the rounds.

This bug has sure gotten around. We've had it go through our office here in Virginia too. I agree, stomach viruses are the absolute worst. I had a bout with it last month and wound up sleeping from 9:00 AM until my husband got
home from work at 5:30 PM.

I too, am sending positive energy out to those people who may not have received the cancellation notice that they will understand that these things do happen. It appears this event was not meant to take place today.

I guess John must be feeling better...they took the note off the seminar page saying that the seminar was postponed because he was ill. Hopefully he will be in Connecticut tonight and be his healthy, witty, happy self again. :musicnote
