View Full Version : *** Tonight's (6/8/04) group is cancelled ***
This just in from John Edward's office: "Tonight's (June 8) group had to be cancelled as John came down with a bad stomach virus. We had to call 300 ppl but some we were not able to touch base with. We will have someone at the hotel tonite."
If you have any questions, please post them here and I will attempt to get answers for you - Pam
That's awful news, Pam :(
Prayers going up for John....may he get over this bug and be healthy as a horse in no time. I hope John takes the time that he needs to recuperate from this illness, instead of pushing himself to do more than he should :musicnote :musicnote :musicnote
Thanks for letting us know.
I'm praying, both that John recovers quickly, and that the people scheduled to be there tonight are very understanding, in spite of the disappointment they feel.
I don't recall John ever cancelling a seminar before so he must be feeling pretty ill to do it this time.
Yeow, what a shame -- for everyone involved. I imagine it's a huge ordeal to have to cancel something like this.
Best wishes for JE and for all those who had planned on attending tonite. I hope they can reschedule at a time that will work out to everyone's satisfaction.

Prayers for John and his family ascending.
I too hope everyone who was scheduled understands. I know people can travel great distances and I pray they can accept the situation okay.

:musicnote Adding my prayers for John's quick and full recovery. His travel schedule during the next two weeks is pretty tight. :musicnote Prayers also for those who didn't get the message that they will be visited with grace and understanding. :musicnote
There's is now a banner on the Seminars page on John's site announcing the cancellation.
Yes, this is a first, (cancelling a seminar) according to Carol. I had something really nasty last week, that made me sleep for hours on end. It was short lived, let's hope this is short lived for John too.

Prayers for a speedy recovery for our Friend, John :nurse:
Pam, if you do here any more about him, I'm sure you'll let us know. I hope you are feeling better too! :nurse:

Adding my prayers and thoughts to john.
I agree with gail, that he must be quite unwell. He has said many times before that even when he is ill the huge amount of energy he gets before a seminar seems to carry him through.
So i pray for a speedy return back to full health....

:musicnote Prayers ascending for a speedy recovery for John. Stomach viruses can be the worst!
Prayers also for those who are dealing with the frustration of the cancellation of this event, especially those who traveled great distances to get there.
As John says, everything happens for a reason.
God's blessing to all involved.

I hope he feels better.....I know it must take alot to stop John from doing a small gallery group..The bridges seminars I went to last fall...John said he dragged himself outta bed ..he was sick...he did most of the readings sitting on a chair
Prayers going up for a speedy recovery.
There was a very bad, but short-lived, stomach flu/virus going around here last week, as well. Looks like it's making the rounds.
Hope everything works out for everyone and that the weekend's seminars aren't affected. :)

Hoping he isn't down and out for long. :musicnote I just hope he doesn't push himself to get up and moving before his body is ready.

Here's hoping John makes a quick recovery and doesn't share the germs with Sandra or Justin!
This bug has sure gotten around. We've had it go through our office here in Virginia too. I agree, stomach viruses are the absolute worst. I had a bout with it last month and wound up sleeping from 9:00 AM until my husband got
home from work at 5:30 PM.
I too, am sending positive energy out to those people who may not have received the cancellation notice that they will understand that these things do happen. It appears this event was not meant to take place today.

Poor John hope he`s better soon....also poor people who were hoping to see him they will all be disapointed.
Hope he makes a speedy recovery!!
I guess John must be feeling better...they took the note off the seminar page saying that the seminar was postponed because he was ill. Hopefully he will be in Connecticut tonight and be his healthy, witty, happy self again. :musicnote
