I'd like to share a resource that was recommended to me, by my dear friend, who is also one of several long-time and very dedicated moderators, Julie Bannister (JBannister).
I trust Julie's judgement 100% in matters of integrity, so with confidence, I pass along this site as a possible healing resource for anyone who has suffered any kind of loss. In other words: for any and all of us.
Here's what Julie told me about Beyond Indigo (http://www.beyondindigo.com/):
While searching for something I happened to come across this web site, Beyond Indigo: Changing the way you feel about grief and loss (http://www.beyondindigo.com/).
It is a site devoted to healing from grief. It offers several resourses. Also, it has forums that are quite specific. Everything from the loss of pets, to the loss of loved ones as the result of murder, the loss of loved ones following chronic illness, etc., etc.
Their emphasis is on the positive, and on the spiritual aspect of grief. They also have forums for people to share their ADC's. I have seen many web-sites that deal with loss, but I was quite impressed with this one.
I did see John's name a few times that people referenced as being part of their journey of healing.
I have not checked out the site in-depth, but what I did see, is very positive. I hope it can be a positive resource for our members. :)
