Hello Everyone,
My oldest daughter Kelly & I had the pleasure of going to our very first JE seminar this am at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix...John is as awesome in person as he was on his TV show! Even though, we were not one of the few that received a reading, we still had an awesome experience just being there! He has quite the personality & we found him very sincere in his work & beliefs...
Kelly, who happens to be a writer on the East Valley Tribune & Get Out Magazine locally, had the chance to interview him over the phone last week...See her article below:

John Edward reaches out to the dead

There’s no stopping John Edward. Even though the Sci-Fi Network canceled the 34-year-old psychic’s show "Crossing Over With John Edward" this year because of low ratings, Edward is still going strong.
He released a fiction book, "Final Beginnings," and sold out all three of his seminars — where he will lecture and offer readings — Thursday through Saturday at Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix. But not everyone will receive a reading, he warns.
"I’ve had events where I’ve gotten to five families, and I’ve had events where I’ve gotten to 15 or 20 families," Edward says during a phone call from Lexington, Ky., where he’s preparing for a book signing. "It really, really depends. . . . The readings are not the important part to me. It’s the lecture, the answering of the questions and the teaching segment, which is more important than the actual readings. It’s the information and the teaching that’s really going to help the rest of the people that are there.’’
The information will help people reach out to their deceased loved ones, Edward says.
"Mediums have a specialized ability, in the sense that we may be tuned in a little bit more than the average bear. However, I think every single person has the ability to connect with their loved ones and friends,’’ he says. "It’s just a matter of understanding the process and recognizing it.’’
How long does it take for people to make sense of what Edward tells them?
"It could be a moment or weeks later after they’ve had the session where I get what I refer to as the ‘Aha!’ phone call and/or letter where they go, ‘Oh, my God, I never knew that!’ " he says. "As a medium, it’s really some of my bestloved stuff when that happens. When people go for a session and they hear things that they can’t validate, it really helps to validate the process outside of the session.’’
Naturally, Edward’s claim that he reaches the dead has raised a lot of eyebrows. But he’s not one to bother with skeptics.
"I would like to think that a majority of people who are coming in to see psychics like myself hopefully are coming with a skeptical attitude and hopefully are leaving with a skeptical attitude, but with a lot of validations to help them evaluate their experience," he said. "I don’t really deal with cynics. I don’t have the time for it. . . . I’d rather spend my energy helping the people that need me to help them rather than trying to defend the work of something you really can’t defend.’’
Details Who: John Edward When: 7 p.m. today and Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday Where: Celebrity Theatre, 440 N. 32nd St., Phoenix Cost: Sold out Information: (602) 267-1600 or

He spoke about his show being cancelled, which a lot of the audience was unnaware of- He said that it was only supposed to be a short stint of several weeks which turned into 4yrs...He is not complaining...The TV execs wanted him to do some sensationalizing, which he refused to be a part of, so they cancelled the show due to low ratings...The entire audience moaned! I truly will miss seeing his show, which I tried to tape at least 1-2x/week...
Seeing John in person was a truly wonderful experience & we plan on attending again, next time he's here! (Hopefully, it won't be too long)...
