John Edward in Tampa

I just saw John Edward in Tampa last night. What an experience! I took notes on everything---until my pen gave out. :eek: LOL. Be sure to take two pens next time.


Anyhow he was as accurate right there in person as he is on the TV. I was prepared for less accuracy because I figured they edited out his misses on the TV. But now I don't think they do that that much.

I will be seeing him again in Orlando November 20th. :jumper: My sister is seeing him in San Diego in at the beginning of November.

I did see a lot of people afterward who were a little "sour grapes" that they didn't get read. Naturally I would have liked to have been read, but realistically, I realized I had a better chance of winning a lottery. I would be willing to pay for a private reading though--if they ever open up again.

It was a fastinating night last night and seeing John was well worth it. :) He was everything I expected and more!

It's nice to see that you enjoyed the seminar. If you want to post some of the readings you did get I would like to read them. You may want to make your print smaller.

Hello again

Here is my account of my experience in Tampa. What John said and what the people said I do not have down word for word. I just put the stuff down in my own shorthand and it was the idea rather than word for word. As I previously said, I also ran out of ink in my pen so a little is done from memory.

The room was quite large--a very wide rectangle. There were two large screens in the front which made things easier because John never read anyone near me. He came out very promptly at the scheduled time of 4PM and he left at 6:38 PM and never took any break. He talked the first 1/2 hour, pacing back and forth on the stage. He is quite a pacer and he also talks rapidly. One thing he said was we miss them but they don't miss us because they are right with us.

He then opened the show to questions but sort of alternated taking questions with doing readings.

The first reading went sort of as follows

John: I am getting someone who is retired
Person: I am retired
John: I am seeing your father who has passed from liver problems
Person: Yes
John: I am seeing a younger male who has passed
Person: Yes--my son
John: Something the son did caused him to pass
Person: Yes
John: I am seeing a Red, white, and blue flag which means honors--so your son was buried with honors?
Person: Yes
John: I am seeing someone with an eye patch
Person: My uncle wore an eye patch
John: I am seeing a younger female who has passed. Your sister?
Person: Yes my sister has passed.
John: Did you miscarry?
Person: No
John: Did you have difficulties during pregnancy?
Person: Yes
John: I am getting a "J" connection to your son?
Person: Yes
John: Your son says you have just had surgery
Person: I had surgery earlier this year.

Another reading (part)

John: I am seeing white roses
Person: Today is my birthday
John: Has your Mom passed? I am seeing someone whose name starts with M
Person: Yes my Mom passed and her name was Mary.
John: Has your father passed. I am seeing a male who has difficulty with one hand
Person: Yes my father has passed and he was crippled in one hand.

Another Reading (Part)

John: Your mother owned a bar
Person: That is correct
John: It was named after her
Person: Yes
John: I am getting the name Shirley
Person: Her name was Shirley
John: There was some kind of family joke about eating a rotten egg
Person: No
John: Its a family joke
Person: Oh yes, when we would burp, we would joke that it was due to eating rotten eggs--egg burp.

Another Reading

John: You are a smoker
Person: Yes
John: You smoke Virginia Slims?
Person: Yes
John: Someone close to you spent time in prison
Person: I don't know of anyone
John: Yes you do
Person: Well yes an ex boy friend
John: How ex? When did you last talk to him?
Person: Well today.
John: I am getting the number 28
Person: My mom passed October 28th
John: Your mother says she used to mortify you when you were a teenager by making fun of your exposed torso in front of your friends
Person: Yes that happened a lot of times.
John: Your Mom would like to take over the show
Person: (Laughing) yeah that sounds like her.

Another reading

John: I am seeing an older male. He says his name is James
Person: Yes my father was James
John: He has passed?
Person: Yes he has passed
John: He is talking about a Rifle
Person: He had two guns. One was a shotgun and one a rifle
John: There were 5 in your family
Person: Yes
John: I am getting the name "Lynn"
Person: My mothers name was Linda
John: Your father said he lived in a hotel?
Person: Yes he worked on the road and stayed in a lot of hotels

Another reading

John: Someone is coming in who has two names. He is riding a horse.
Person: Yes my brother had two names (I did not catch the names)
John: What is the horse connection?
Person: He loved his horse
John: The horse and the brother were the same age?
Person: Yes
John: I am getting the number 23
Person: He was 23 when he passed

Another reading

John: An older woman is coming through
Person: My Mom
John: She says the two dogs are there with her. Does this make sense?
Person: Yes
John: She says she didn't like one of the dogs.
Person: Yes she didn't. It was a Chihuahua and it used to bite her.
John: She used to cook a dish that was dripping with cheese
Person: Yes
John: I am seeing a house with a basement
Person: We don't have them here in Florida
John: I know that but that is what I am seeing. (John gives the whole floor plan of the house)
(After some prodding)
Husband: I lived in a house like that when I grew up in Connecticut
John: You carry some rememberance of your father with you
Husband: Yes I have carried a stone of his for three years in my pocket

John did say that Crossing Over was now gone. He said that possibly there might be a future show like it but nothing definite.
