Either I'm lookin in the wrong place, or nobody else is going to the Atlanta seminar? Say it ain't so!

I'm not too crazy about the assigned seating but at least I won't have to stand in line forever... :P

The numbers for my assigned seat were a validation for me, very cool!

Anybody else goin?

In this thread (http://www.johnedwardtalk.org/showthread.php?t=11919), Carolee16 indicates she's driving to the Atlanta seminar. (post #8) It looks like her e-mail is activated, so you might try e-mailing her.

JuJu4U0913 (Julie) is going! She hasn't had access to the site here b/c of computer problems, but I talked with her last evening and she is excited. You might try to reach her by her email if you want. She evidently has great seats!

Peace

Since no one has posted yet about the Atlanta seminar I'll let you know that it was great, as expected, despite some sound feedback problems. John spent a lot of time on questions which were pretty much the same questions he gets asked at every seminar. A couple of the readings were very detailed and all the information was validated right down the line. I can't give you a blow by blow account like some folks here do, but I will let you know one bit of news that John mentioned briefly. He said his most recent book (Final Beginnings) MIGHT be made into a TV mini series and he hoped they didn't change the story line. So stay tuned!

John continues to amaze me. Coming off three back to back seminars on the west coast, I thought he might be a bit burnt out when he got to Atlanta, but I didn't see any sign of that.

Before John came out I met JuJu4U0913 and ScubaCat and had lovely time talking to them. Julie and I are both Virgos so had long converstion about the pecularities of Virgoans!:P

At the beginning of the seminar the people in the back couldn't hear John so he got people working on it and asked if he should continue or wait, and of course everyone said continue. We were on the first row right in front of the stage so we could hear him just fine. Anyway, being John, he wasn't going to disappoint anyone, and he stayed on an extra hour until 10:00.

He took a lot of questions and did quite a few readings but I didn't take notes. I believe that Julie did, so maybe she will post some of them.

John does seem to get more and more acurate. Not many people were saying "No, I do not have an Aunt Tilly!" Just yes, yes, yes to most of what John was telling them.

Good seminar!

Sorry I missed you, but it wasn't me you were talking to before the seminar. I got there right before it started and didn't get a chance to meet anyone. I wonder who you were talking to?

I went.

I'll never do it again though. I had to travel 5 hours to get there and then got lost trying to get to the hotel I was staying at. The hotel described itself as being at perimeter zero. I thought that ment I'd be able to walk to the convention center like I did when I went to North Carolina.

Boy was I wrong!

So, I drove to the convention center and even though I got directions from the hotel it was hard to find some of the streets in the dark in a strange town.

By the time I get there it's 20 min.s till seven and I naturally have a tension headache. Then to make matters worse when the seminar does start I can't understand what he's saying because of the echo. The place was like a huge airplane hanger and even though they tried to tap into the house sound system it only helped a little.

If it sounds like I'm frustrated it's because I AM!

I think more so because today I went to JE's website and saw the 2005 potential seminar schedule and of course, SC is not on that list nor do I ever think that it will be. So, I'm a little ticked off right now.

I'm a little tired of having to travel to see a seminar and it's not just him but hardly any psychic mediums ever come here.

One of the questions was why does he think that all this psychic mediumship stuff was going on now at this time. His answer ( what I could make out ) was that our conciousness was expanding.

Well, I guess it's not gonna expand this way. I mean
I would love to do it myself but when they were handing out psychic ability they must of given mine to someone else.

The seminar, what I could hear of it, was pretty good but I swore to myself on the long drive home that I will never do this again unless he comes to SC and since that doesn't seem like it will ever happen I guess that was my last seminar.

I believe she was with Julie. My apologies to her, and to ScubaCat for taking her name in vain! :o

My husband, who must have talked to everyone in the room, kept bringing people up for me to meet, and I still don't know how he knew Julie's group were members of this board! But I thank him for connecting us.

After posting last night I had a conversation with him about the seminar. He stayed in the back of the room and hung out with the sound man and camera guy. So he had a good perspective of the room. He told me that people were very upset about the sound problem and quite a few left during the first thirty minutes or so of the seminar.

Believer, I'm sorry that your experience wasn't the greatest. But look through your experience in a postive light...I'm sure you learned something or you wouldn't of been there. John always says, "You're there for a reason." :)

I'm sure he'll make it to SC at some point. You have to stay postitive. That list of potential seminar locations is never complete. It's more like a guideline because he deviates from that list all the time. For example, at the bottom of his seminar page it always says that there are more seminars and stuff planned for cities like Cleveland, OH. Believe me, he hasn't been there yet.

Well wishes for a better experience the next time,
Clasclar
