I just had a disturbing dream and it kind of got to me. Both of them were about losing a daughter. Not the same one different ones. Two different ways. Then I had a dream that I was talking to hubby's father but I don't remeber what was said. That was a wierd one also. (this part isn't the dream ) Hubby came up and said he was leaving to go to church and my son would be ready for his ride to work in around half an hour. I said ok. I guess I fell back to sleep because I thought I was talking to hubby in bed. I asked if this was his father ( I thought hubby was back to sleep and talking in his sleep) he said yes. And said something I couldn't make out. then I woke up and realized hubby wasn't there. Don't say it was my new years celebration I only had iced tea. Any ideas ???

I remember having a disturbing dream about losing my daughter. I was absolutely terrified when I woke up, and it affected me for days. My kids are very young. This particular dream happened to be at a time when she was asserting more independence from me... stopped nursing, out of diapers, on to preschool. I felt a disconnect from her and I guess it manifested itself in my dreams. Maybe you're going through something similar?

:D My daughter is 31 years old. I have been trying to get her to exert her independence and move out. LOL The younger one yes she is definately trying to be independent.
It's said that all dreams are about the dreamer (even real visits are about YOU and FOR YOU). It's our first instinct to wonder if the dream is pre-cognitive, but that's simply our fears taking over. More likely, your subconcsious is using the symbol of your daughter, to try to communicate something about your own concsiousness. If this is the case, the people in your dream represent aspects of your own personality.

I've heard that too Pam (that you are all the people in your dream).
Do you have that Dream site link still? I saved it to my favorites but can't seem to find it :(
Thanks
