Anyone watch SEARCH FOR HEAVEN on the PAX channel last night?

The show included interviews with Mr. Brinkley of SAVED BY THE LIGHT and Howard Storm. Mr. Storm's experience was the exact opposite of Brinkley's. Mr. Storm was an atheist. When he "died" souls called out to him to come with them. He followed them only to be attacked and tormented. He heard a voice which told him to pray. His prayer was a mixture of the Pledge of Alligance, Our Father etc. Then in desperation he called out to Christ to save him and he was immediately transported into the Light. Storm is no longer an atheist. He has a book out about his NDE.

The show also discussed the nature of LIGHT. Apparently, it appears, to some scientists, as having a consciousness. The connection being that scientists decided to investigate the nature of LIGHT because the Bible describes God as being LIGHT.

Stephen Hawkins was also interviewed.

I caught this show by accident while turning through the channels, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

All of the 'near death' or 'out of body' experiences were pretty awesome.
One that stands out for me was the woman who, during an operation, felt herself go up though several stories of the hospital to the roof. She looked around, enjoying the view, then glanced down and saw a red sneaker there on the roof. Later, after she was conscious, she told people around her what she had seen. One of the nurses actually sent someone to the roof to check out her story. He came back with the red sneaker in his hand!

Another one was the little girl, 4 or 5 years old, who drowned in the swimming pool. The physician, who was interested in 'near death experiences,' especially with children, asked her what she saw or felt when she was in the water. She said,"Oh, you mean when I met God and Jesus."

They also mentioned Dr. Moody's book, 'Life After Life.'

Sorry I missed it! :( I've even checked the PAX website, but it looks like there are no plans (so far) to air this special again, at least not anytime before April.

Sounds very interesting. I would've liked to have heard what Stephen Hawking had to say. :hmm:

I really don't know why yours didn't work. My replacement appeared to be the same link. All I know is when I clicked yours, it took me to an error page.

Hey, anytime I can help, I try. :)
