Even though it doesn't feel like a Monday night, it is, and "Medium" is a new show tonight. :)

Mine was pre-empted by a basketball game. How in the world could they think that basketball is more important that watching Medium! ? ;)

I saw about 1/2 of it. I kept thinking, "why doesn't she get some outside help?" I know that what she was going through had a purpose, but like her husband, I would felt that being out of control of my own actions was a little too over the edge.

Sorry you didn't get to see the complete program it was good.

Allison explained to Joe that she couldn't be made to do what she wouldn't normally do herself. She had smoked and drank before so that is why she did those two things. But that he could not make her kill. Course does that mean she would stalk someone  Won't tell you how it ends, in case you get to see the whole show someday.

Guess there really are unenlightened souls out there, that is why John tells us to stay away from ouija boards.

Blessings,
Katherine

I did see the end - it was the beginning I missed.

Let's say it were a real-life situation. She normally wouldn't follow a girl home from the store and watch her, like a stalker; wouldn't let the groceries defrost in her car; wouldn't normally leave her husband and kids for 4 hours without a word. It's those kind of things that would have scared me. I guess I'm a control freak. It's why I don't drink (too excess) and why I don't abuse drugs. I hate the thought of not being in total control of my own actions every hour.

I kept feeling "reach out to another psychic" or "call a priest" before the story revealed the purpose for the dead murderer to give Allison those experiences.

The Allison character was braver and more dedicated than I would be, if I had her skills. As valuable as the skills are to catch murderers and prevent more deaths, I could not stand to be without my child, or be out of control of my own actions and movements. It's like Gail mentioned JE saying the time he felt he was "taken over" by a spirit like the "Ghost" medium was, and he didn't like it one bit. I would hate it too!

I also thought that was disturbing. There are times when I wish I was more “sensitive” to the other side, but not when I hear about things like this. I wonder if this really happened to Allison, or if was embellished for the story line.

On another note, in the beginning of the show, do you think that is Allison’s profile when the head splits in two? It sure looks more like Allison than Patricia Arquette. Has anyone else ever noticed that?
