My One-on-One Experience with JE

:wave: Hi Jennifer.(and anyone else)I happened to find this by accident.
I was very fortunate to have been a guest on J.E. back in 2000 when his show first was launched. I had a one on one with him. It was weird cuz he sat with his chair AWAY from me. (maybe to show he doesn't mind read?)
Anyway, I lost my only child, Devin, to leukemia in 1997. I was ELATED when Devin came through. Also my father in law (who died a few months after Devin. (Actually they came in TOGETHER).He also mentioned (BY NAME) 3 other deceased children, ones that were a part of an on line "angelmoms" email group that a few of us began. It was my LIFELINE for a few years. He also described a woman (tall, assertive, birthmark on cheek,and a "grandmother FIGURE. He also mentioned the number 3, as in birth MONTH or birth DATE. I was clueless to who this was. So we moved on. (that part didn't air) Anyway, when I called my boyfriend after the taping, I told him about the "grandma figure) As I described her, he got quiet. Then I remembered that his birthday (boyfriend) is MARCH 3.....(3rd month AND 3rd of the month) When I mentioned the birthmark and the #3....he got quiet for a sec and then said "Lindie.......my grandma is tall with a birthmark on her cheek........AND.....guess what her birthday was? YEP..the same as his (MARCH 3).
Also, he mentioned a coma, which my son was in. He said "SOMETHING about the LASEX wasn't working right, or something. Sure enough when he was in the coma, the drip connecting the lasex (makes you urinate more so as not to retain fluids) was clogged up. We were relieved cuz we thought he wasnt producing any, which is a sign of organ failure. He ended up coming out of it though.:clap: There are other things too.
But then about 4 months later David Cook (one of his producers) emails me and I called him as he requested. He asked if they could come to Chicago (where I lived) and do another taping about how I was doing and how the reading had affected me. It was pretty cool. And during the taping, one of my african masks FLEW off the wall after I kept telling him that the light was so HOT.....(Devin always communicates to me in very clever ways.) They all just stood there with their mouths open!) I mean that mask literally flew straight OUTWARD, not down.
Anyway, thanks for letting me know that he will be back on the air again.
He is a VERY personable man. He apologized for being a little late for the taping because he just came back from the gym.
There were many other things (SPECIFICS) he also mentioned.
OH! Also they taped me typing on my computer , accessing the "ANGELMOMS" website. Because of that our group went from 12 moms to 600! Cool stuff!

He came with a camera crew to my home in Bloomington, IL :) I wonder if it was on the same trip for David Cook and the camera crew. If I remember correctly it was back in August of 2002. It is a beautiful site, Lindie. I looked it up in Google this morning and found the site before you put in the link.

I first saw Crossing Over in early 2001 so I know it was on TV then. I'm asking our members here...When did the show first air and does anyone remember Lindie's reading?

I just glanced over to my book shelf and.."Crossing Over", the book, caught my attention. :D June 14, 2000, John bounded out for the first time before a live gallery!

Lindie, I added you on the list and made a guess of November, 2000. It's easy to change that date if you remember when it happened. We had several members with one-on-one readings that month.

I also remember your reading, Lindie. One thing that sticks in my mind is near the beginning. I guess you were having trouble validating some things, and John said, "I'm going to ask you to put aside whoever it is you want to hear from." Later he said that because you were able to do that it turned out to be a great reading.

That made such an impression because I can imagine how desperately you wanted to talk to your son. I admire your courage.

Hi Lindie:wave: .I was deeply touched when I read your message.I too lost my 6yr old son Calum with leukaemia in March 1997.It is such a cruel disease that seems to affect too many children .I cant remember your reading on a personal level,but I remember seeing the website on "angel mums".Because we were quite away behind you in the u.k with crossing over episodes,I accessed the site but didnt register.I thought what a wonderful idea ,as in those early days to have support from other bereaved parents is immeasurable.It is comforting to belong to a site like this ,where I can write about my son from time to time.It must of been wonderful to have a reading with John and something you will always treasure.All the best for now love jayne:hearts:

Thank you! And hello to all of you who have responded to my post. I am so sorry I started a new job, and actually I have no home computer just now so I have to use the ones at the library. Wow!! I can't believe you remembered it! How cool is that??? It's so awesome to connecty with all of you. It's been so long since I have done that. I went through a long period where I couldn't go to Devin's site, and didnt want to talk about it in an email group either.Plus ANGELMOMS became so big! And I don't even know most of them, only a few.
So its neat that you all (and John) have brought the desire back.

Yes! It was amazing. I felt so honored and priveleged. And I actually got to do it TWICE! Man. Lucky me!!
Yes, he did say that. At first my boyfriend"s (at the time) Grandma came through. I didnt know a thing about her. And John said she ran straight in, was strong willed, tall, a"grandmother FIGURE" ( I was SO mad that Devin didnt come right out and that some old lady I don't know is intruding on my reading! Anyway...John said the number 3 is prevalent (The 3rd of a month OR the 3rd month) He said she was tall and had a little brown birthmark on her cheek. I was like "What the hell!???" Anyway, they didnt show that part on tv after editing. I told John I do not know her! He said later I would know some way somehow. Well I called my guy, and when I told him about her, he got quiet. When I mentioned the 3rd month or 3rd of the month, I remembered that his birthday was not only the 3rd month but the 3rd of that month!! (March 3rd) So when I said that he said "Lindie.....my grandmother and I share the same birthdate!!
Can you believe that????? He is AMAZING. He had NO idea I had a boyfriend or anything.

It's so amazing when you go to see someone like John and to get reading and to hear from the people you want to hear from is one thing but to hear from someone who you don't know anything about them at all and to be the person to tell that person that their love one came through is probery one of the biggest gifts someone can give to someone else
