Question: "What is coming up for me careerwise in the next 6 months?"
Card 1 - Present situation
Card 2 - Waning influences, obstacles already overcome, changes which have occurred in the past
Card 3 - Hidden or unconscious influences
Card 4 - Emerging influences
Card 5 - Synthesis. Draws together the other four influences.
Card 1(Present situation)#7 The Chariot-Beck, I'm getting the impression that you have just gone through a big change possibly with a job you are in right now. This has caused you to look more seriously into at least two other options, or at two other choices. What this card tells me is that you are ready to move forward. You just have to wait for the right time and go. You are in charge. One of the choices is in a field that is related to something you're either in already or have experience in. You feel that the other is more of a risk. Either that you choose, it feels to me that you're through playing around and feel like it's time to go. Anxious and ready.
I'm not sure what this means it may be just my imagination, but, twice now as I've typed this I hear a name that sounds like "Flip" or "Phillip."
Okay, are you a twin? Got that impression also.
Card 2(Waning influences/Obstacles already overcome)King of Pentacles-From this card I feel that it is telling of a person that is stubborn, condescending at times, and really quick to give advice whether you ask for it or not. Perhaps they mean well. I feel a sense that previously you have given into this situation. You've played peacemaker and just done what you felt would be considered acceptable. The good news is that you are over this. He is an obstacle or more precisely the energy that you perceived as "holding you back" is an obstacle that you have overcome.
As I sat and read what I just wrote, I heard "power trip."
Card 3(Hidden or Unconscious influences)3 of Pentacles-Is there alot of "paper work" going on in the background? I feel that it involves a "presentation". Presenting your ideas to another person to gain support in a career endeavor. I also sense that you have a partner in this.
I feel like someone is interested in what you have to say, in what you are presenting. They are just hesitant to take the first step. Perhaps it is a financial leap of faith for this person and they are just being extra cautious. But, that must be frustrating for you. I feel like the person or people you have been talking with are firmly on the fence right now.
Frustration seems like the key word here.
I feel that sticking to the facts that you have at hand will bring you what you need in this situation. You have a well developed ability for persuasion when it is something you believe this strongly in.
Is there a "K" name involved? I want to say it's Ken or Kenneth.
Card 4(Emerging influences)8 of Swords-Sometimes the swords mean decisions and being able to get to the heart of the matter. Too many people involved, too many "chefs in the kitchen" can cause alot of confusion. It may be wise not to let alot of people in on your plans until they are more solid. Their input and opinions could start to play havoc with your already present indecision or second guessing, and make it worse instead of better. I know that you feel like you need guidance but I feel a caution to be really really choosy about who you let in for a little while longer.
Card 5(Synthesis or outcome)7 of Cups-Wow, I've never pulled this card before in a reading.
This is funny but, do you know what it makes me think of? An old t.v. game show, I think it's: "Let's Make a Deal." The one where the people choose between a prize that they can see and some that they can't see that's behind a door or under a box.
Anyway, in this card's illustration there are 7 cups. In each of them is something different. There is a person standing with their back to us and facing the cups. He/she seems to be to be choosing between what each of these cups are presenting.
I'll tell you what's in them in case that could mean something to you:
In the first one from top to bottom, left to right is a person's head, it's blue. The second one has a figure emerging from it, draped in a white cloth, arms are outstretched, and there is a pink glow emanating from them. The third cup has a golden snake slithering out of it. The fourth a blue castle. The fifth has what looks like jewelry, or treasure spilling out of it. The sixth a green wreath, that's kind of in the shape of a horse shoe. And the seventh and last one a blue dragon.
Okay, now here's my gut impression about this. I feel like the person in the card is in the middle of making a choice.
The second cup, the one with the person draped in white, that has the pink glow around them seems to really have their attention.
You know it's something good...but, because of the cloth, of the still secrecy or mystery of it, we're not exactly sure what it is yet. But, you just have the feeling that it's going to be wonderful.
I feel that this decision has a spiritual base to it. There's loving feeling in this one. Maybe it's just the pink glow that gives me that impression.
But, with all of these other choices and what they each bring with them....sure financial gain, the house on the hill, recognition (and some of the not so great experiences that can come with those choices). I feel like you are really really wanting the one that's so cloaked in mystery, so hard to believe it could be real. The one that's still under wraps. :)
In summary I feel that over the next 6 months you will spend time gaining support for your career goal. And strangely enough I feel like you may have already made a decision about where you're going but may be doing something else while you get everything in order.
Something that is not really related at all to what you want to do. Again what feels like a caution to be really careful about who you let in on your plans especially family, friends and coworkers that are not directly connected to or understanding of what you are doing.
Don't give too much away yet, until it is more solid. I do feel like your career will be a satisfying one on all levels and a successful one.
The best of luck to you!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this reading for you.
I hope that it helps.

Thank you Becky for letting me be one of your readers! Since I'm still learning the meaning of the cards, I wrote down my first impressions of them, and then looked up the meaning of the cards with my 3 different tarot books and I also included that on here. So my interpretations are a combination of my own impressions and from the books. I used the Amber's All Purpose thread from Tarot for Dummies, and it's a 6 card spread. Also used the Sacred Rose tarot deck
#1 Significator: The Chariot (Reversed)
I feel like you are at a crossroads, a fork in the road about your career, but I feel like you have divine guidance as you chose which path to take.
Reversed because it won't be easy, but you have to have the inner strength to take on whatever challenege. Working on only a single aspect of a situation, refusing to face a situation. Unwise direction of energy. Moderation is always a must. Lack of trust in inner guidance makes life difficult. Oppionated. A need for mental clarity. Chariot represents the human body or the vehicle in which you take your spiritual journey through life. You must leave your home to find your true self, so maybe in reference to your question, maybe a job or career change is neccessary to be yourself and to be happy.
#2- Past Experiences-Nine of Wands (Reversed)
The decision for this new career won't be easy, to me it feels like you need to stand your ground, be assertive and keep your personal life seperate from your work life. Unpreparedness, weakness, ill health, bending to the will of others.Lacking wisdom or experience in work or society. open to abuse from outside sources in business. Lack of confidence in creative abilities, success can be difficult.
#3-Opportunity for growth: Page of Cups
You have a lot to offer for this (new) career/job, whatever you choose you will bring your gifts to the table which is an asset for your job/career.
Meditative, loyal, spiritual. A reflective situation. News or knowledge of art or culture is brought. love and emotions, psychic ability, creativity, healing, overly sensitive.
#4-Future possibilities- The Lovers
I think you will love your job/career. You will enjoy it more, but don't be blinded. Selection, choices to be made, free will is objective. Attraction, decision, evolution to a higher plane. Choice between vice and virtue. seeking answers from higher self, having faith will be benefitting.
The lovers accept responsibilities for actions. being in harmony, making decisions now.
#5- Overall- Ace of Swords (reversed)
Whatever this career/job is, you have the strength for it, currently you're stuck. Determination, strong work ethic will overcome it. Good with communication, card of harsh reality or realization of the truth. Stagnation and destruction. Stubborness. Depression, anger, compulsion/addiction. No new beginnings in problems or troubles. resolve current issues, little self confidence. Fear of future, boredom, no new ideas of change.
#6- Optional/Major Arcana- Two of Wands
Finally get the recognition you are seeking to deserve, a feeling of balance, equality, strength. Powerful, seek dominion. A battle of opposing forces takes place within oneself or with another. can be interpreted as power over others. Have the world in your hands and potential to be successful. use knowledge in social interaction and in business. Desire in balance in both areas of life. Using will and ego in work and socially.
In all the cards I noticed a lot of swords, wands or objects that the images in the cards are holding on to. Maybe you have to let go of any issues from your current career/job before starting something new. It's like they are holding you back. Let go!
Again thank you for this opportunity! Hope this made some sense to you!

Good Afternoon Becky. I'm so glad that I was able to jump in here and read for you. I hope you find this reading useful to you in the coming months.
Since you asked about a timeline of sorts, I used a spread dealing with the next 6 months. My deck is the Sacred Rose and I hope you enjoy.
"What is coming up for me careerwise in the next 6 months?"
April: The Fool (R) Your attitude may get you into trouble this month. A sharp tongue, quick judgements, or being blind of the consequences of saying the wrong thing. Be mindful and don't let your mouth speak first without having your brain weigh in.
May: The Hanged Man You may be caught between a rock and hard place. Sometimes no action is the right action. A controvery at work? Stay neutral if you can. This is the period of waiting. Trust in your intuitions to feel out the situation. Self-sacrifice will bring out rewards and no onw will expect it coming from you.
June: Nine of Cups Picture a genie saying, "Your wish is granted, Master." This is the "wish granted" card. This has so much positive energy, it neutralizes even neative Major Arcana cards. Promotion is in the works along with good health, success, and material advancement. You're being recogized for your effort.
July: Six of Wands June's success spills over to July. More rewards will reconized as achievements keep happening. Rising in the corporate ladder so to speak. A new idea pops out of you and it's instantly met with praise. Past ideas are brought to the present and recognition by peers and bosses get you, "You were right all along."
August: Judgement (R) Ever get the feeling that there's too much of a good thing? After the past two months, you wonder when you will be moving forward with new things. It won't be this month. There's a delay or postponment because someone won't face up to prior events or ideas. If they won't face up to it now, then they will have to learn their lesson in a harsher way.
September: King of Cups A new boss may into the picture or an old one will have a revelation of goodness. You may find yourself becoming friends this noss, because he reminds you of a father figure. This is the boss that cares for his workers and lets his emotions rule. He's a creative thinker, slow to anger, and very considerate. He doesn't need to prove himself because his workers do it for him.
This all sounds good if you can get past the first two months. I hope this sheds some light on some questions you may have about your career. I enjoyed reading for you, and thank you for the opportunity to.
Love and Light,
Stephanie
Hi Becky,
I am using a Rider-Waite deck and pulled six cards for you, each representing one month.
Card 1: March: 7 wands (reversed) (personal month 6)
You'll feel like your time is not your own, like you are fighting an uphill battle at work, completing assignments that don't benefit you directly. A 6 personal month is a good time to start new relationships, whether they be work relationships or on a more personal level.
Card 2: April: 3 wands (personal month 7)
All that thankless work you did last month is now coming to a halt. You'll look back this month on your accomplishments and smile proudly. A 7 personal month is naturally a time for introspection, and this card supports just that. You may be seeking employment elsewhere, considering all your options.
Card 3: May: 8 swords (reversed) (personal month 8)
An 8 month is the time of materialization. If you are considering a job change, this is the time to do it. The 8 of swords represents self-imposed restrictions. In its' reversed position, the swords will fall out of the ladies' way, indicating that the restrictions you've placed on yourself up to this point are releasing, and you're realizing that YES, you CAN do it!!!
Card 4: June: Page of Cups (reversed) (personal month 9)
A 9 month is a time to finish anything you've started; a time to tie up loose ends and wrap things up. Get rid of whatever isn't working for you. Is there a younger, artistic type of person in your life? They will probably play an important role this month.
Card 5: July: The Tower (reversed) (personal month 10/1)
A 1 personal month, the cycle starts anew. With the Tower coming up in this position, I'd say that this month will bring abrupt and significant changes for you at work. You'll probably be doing things this month that you wouldn't have dreamed of doing a couple months ago.
Card 6: August: The Lovers (reversed) (personal month 11/2)
This is a card about relationships. I'm having a hard time relating this to your work, which was what your question was based upon. Considering that, and that this is a 2 personal month for you, I'd have to say that this month your job will take a back seat and August will be about your love interest. It will be important to be diplomatic, allowing your partner to take the lead. It's a good time to just "go with the flow" and pay attention to details.
I'm hearing "Ricky" and "flowers" if that means anything for you. Also, do you play the piano? I keep hearing classical piano music being played.
Thanks for the opportunity, and I hope this brings you some help in the months ahead! Please don't hesitate to pop in and let us know:)

Hi all
Firstly, sorry for the delay in replying as I have been away from work and also my computer for a little while.
Secondly, thanks so much to all of you for doing the readings, they were extremely insightul and interesting and hopefully they will prove to be helpful in the coming months. I was very impressed, although I am sure there will be a lot more to tell you in a few months time when I can assess how accurate some of the future aspects are.
I am in the middle of compiling responses to each of you which I will post asap (thanks for waiting so patiently), although as I said, some things depict future events and so I cannot comment on them as yet.
Thanks so much
Becky

FOR FREEWHEELIN - don't worry I'll get to the rest of you in turn. Sorry it is taking time.
Hi Amanda
Thanks for the reading, there was ever such a lot of detail here and a lot of it was very accurate.
Card 1(Present situation). I'm getting the impression that you have just gone through a big change possibly with a job you are in right now. This has caused you to look more seriously into at least two other options, or at two other choices. What this card tells me is that you are ready to move forward.
Becks: I have not had a major change but I have been discussing the option of making one. I am ready to move forward and yes, there are two options./
You just have to wait for the right time and go. You are in charge. One of the choices is in a field that is related to something you're either in already or have experience in. You feel that the other is more of a risk. Either that you choose, it feels to me that you're through playing around and feel like it's time to go. Anxious and ready.
Becks: that’s exactly it, I am anxious but ready. There are two options related to what I am doing now, one is basically developing one aspect of what I currently do (i.e. turning part of my job into a full-time career) so this is very true. The other is more of a risk.
I'm not sure what this means it may be just my imagination, but, twice now as I've typed this I hear a name that sounds like "Flip" or "Phillip."
Okay, are you a twin? Got that impression also.
Becks: No I’m not a twin, although I have been asked that before funnily enough. I don’t know anyone called Phillip but I will keep my ears peeled.
Card 2(Waning influences/Obstacles already overcome)King of Pentacles-From this card I feel that it is telling of a person that is stubborn, condescending at times, and really quick to give advice whether you ask for it or not. Perhaps they mean well.
Becks: Oh this is so true! I know exactly who you mean. Yes, they mean well but their advice is certainly not always asked for.
I feel a sense that previously you have given into this situation. You've played peacemaker and just done what you felt would be considered acceptable. The good news is that you are over this. He is an obstacle or more precisely the energy that you perceived as "holding you back" is an obstacle that you have overcome.
Becks: Yes, often give in to appease everybody and yes I certainly understand the ‘holding me back’ obstacle.
As I sat and read what I just wrote, I heard "power trip."
Becks: Makes sense.
Card 3(Hidden or Unconscious influences)3 of Pentacles-Is there a lot of "paper work" going on in the background? I feel that it involves a "presentation". Presenting your ideas to another person to gain support in a career endeavor. I also sense that you have a partner in this. I feel like someone is interested in what you have to say, in what you are presenting.
Becks: You have no idea how right you are on this. It’s spooky. Literally this week I have been doing a lot of paperwork, presenting my abilities to gain support for something that could result in the first step in changing my role to what I want it to be. And you are so right about the partner. I have a colleague who has been encouraging me and helping me find opportunities. He is as actively pursuing this for me as I am.
They are just hesitant to take the first step. Perhaps it is a financial leap of faith for this person and they are just being extra cautious. But, that must be frustrating for you. I feel like the person or people you have been talking with are firmly on the fence right now.
Becks: There is a financial aspect, that’s true.
Frustration seems like the key word here.
Becks: That about describes my state of mind in recent months.
I feel that sticking to the facts that you have at hand will bring you what you need in this situation. You have a well developed ability for persuasion when it is something you believe this strongly in.
Becks: that’s good advice and yes, I think you are right.
Is there a "K" name involved? I want to say it's Ken or Kenneth.
Becks: Yes! There is a name involved in this but not Ken: Karen so its close, it is a k-n.
Card 4(Emerging influences)8 of Swords-Sometimes the swords mean decisions and being able to get to the heart of the matter. Too many people involved, too many "chefs in the kitchen" can cause a lot of confusion. It may be wise not to let a lot of people in on your plans until they are more solid. Their input and opinions could start to play havoc with your already present indecision or second guessing, and make it worse instead of better. I know that you feel like you need guidance but I feel a caution to be really really choosy about who you let in for a little while longer.
Becks: You are so right. I am very indecisive and when a friend of mine was making suggestions it was confusing me even more. It is also a bit delicate because there are people who won’t want me to move in my role the way I want to and those who may be offended I might want to leave them. I think playing my cards close to my chest is good advice right now while it is all still uncertain. I was thinking of confiding in a particular person but now think it’s not such a good idea.
Anyway, in this card's …Okay, now here's my gut impression about this.
Becks: That make so much sense to me. I do want the mystery box. I do feel it could be wonderful.
Becks: I think on some level I have decided what I want to do actually and in a way all these readings have helped clarify my mind a little. I will be careful who I speak to. I like the sound of my career being a satisfying and successful one!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to do this reading for you.
I hope that it helps.
Becks: Thank you! Amazing reading!

FOR AMYROSE
Thank you Becky for letting me be one of your readers!
Becks: No problem, thanks for doing this for me!
#1 Significator: The Chariot (Reversed)
I feel like you are at a crossroads, a fork in the road about your career, but I feel like you have divine guidance as you chose which path to take.
Reversed because it won't be easy, but you have to have the inner strength to take on whatever challenege.
Becks: That is exactly where I am. At a crossroads. I am aware that it won’t be eas but am ready for the challenge.
Becks: I think this is true on many levels. I feel a bit like I am spinning my wheels and that my life would start properly if I took this leap. It is difficult to make it happen though and I guess I don’t trust myself enough. Fear of failure maybe? It could also literally mean moving home as I am really thinking about that a lot at the moment and feel in a bit of limbo until I get that sorted.
#2- Past Experiences-Nine of Wands (Reversed)
The decision for this new career won't be easy, to me it feels like you need to stand your ground, be assertive and keep your personal life seperate from your work life. Unpreparedness, weakness, ill health, bending to the will of others. Lacking wisdom or experience in work or society. open to abuse from outside sources in business. Lack of confidence in creative abilities, success can be difficult.
Becks: Yes, I lack confidence and experience in the area I am hopefully going into. In some ways I am very confident in my creative abilities but the fear of rejection holds me back, along with the ‘bending to the will of others’ – there are people in my job who have control over me and I feel they are halting my development, or at least I fear that when it comes to the crunch they will.
Becks: Wow I think these are aspects to my character that most of my friends would use to describe me and my talents so that is pretty cool.
Becks: I wll remember that. I think I do need to have faith and be decisive. That is my main problem.
Becks: Stuck is exactly the word for how I feel and the last few words ‘Fear of future, boredom, no new ideas of change’ certainly describe what I have been feeling that has prompted my need to make a change.
Let go!
Becks: Oh so true. I am holding on and as a result being held back. I have to let go. Easier said than done but I promise to try.
Again thank you for this opportunity! Hope this made some sense to you!
Amy
Becks: thank you and yes, it absolutely did.

FOR CLASCAR
Good Afternoon Becky. I'm so glad that I was able to jump in here and read for you. I hope you find this reading useful to you in the coming months.
Becks: Hi Stephanie, thanks for doing this. I like how you have split it into months, it was great. It does mean though that there are quite a lot of things I can’t comment on yet though. I will let you know in the future how things pan out.
April: The Fool (R) Your attitude may get you into trouble this month. A sharp tongue, quick judgements, or being blind of the consequences of saying the wrong thing. Be mindful and don't let your mouth speak first without having your brain weigh in.
Becks: Oh dear. I have had to hold my tongue a few times lately - I think I might find it hard holding it any longer! I’ll do my best to reign it in. There are a few things I almost kicked up a fuss about which I later decided to leave which turned out to be a good idea in the long run so I’ll bear that in mind.
May: The Hanged Man You may be caught between a rock and hard place. Sometimes no action is the right action. A controvery at work? Stay neutral if you can. This is the period of waiting. Trust in your intuitions to feel out the situation. Self-sacrifice will bring out rewards and no one will expect it coming from you.
Becks: Ooh controversy! I have an inkling what this may be actually. There are two people who just clash big time and I have been waiting for it to blow up. I am good friends with both so caught between a rock and a hard place would make sense. I don’t like the idea of that self-sacrifice thing though! Lol!
June: Nine of Cups Picture a genie saying, "Your wish is granted, Master." This is the "wish granted" card. This has so much positive energy, it neutralizes even neative Major Arcana cards. Promotion is in the works along with good health, success, and material advancement. You're being recognized for your effort.
Becks: Yay! I like this card! It makes sense though, if all goes according to plan I could end up with what would constitute a promotion.
Becks: I like this too. We shall just have to wait and see.
Becks: Hmm, not so good. Can’t think what it would mean but then August is a long way off. I’ll let you know if it turns out to make sense.
September: King of Cups A new boss may into the picture or an old one will have a revelation of goodness. You may find yourself becoming friends this noss,
because he reminds you of a father figure. This is the boss that cares for his workers and lets his emotions rule. He's a creative thinker, slow to anger, and very considerate. He doesn't need to prove himself because his workers do it for him.
Becks: Well, if my plans come off then I know exactly who you would be talking about and yes he is a father figure, creative, slow to anger, totally as you describe him. He is already sort of my boss but would become my immediate boss if my plans come to fruition.
This all sounds good if you can get past the first two months. I hope this sheds some light on some questions you may have about your career. I enjoyed reading for you, and thank you for the opportunity to.
Becks: Thanks Stephanie, this was great, I’ll hold out the first two months since I know the next few are golden. It really did shed some light and hopefully shortly it will shed some more.

FOR MRS JONES – LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST
Hi Becky,
I am using a Rider-Waite deck and pulled six cards for you, each representing one month.
Becks: Ho Dawn, thanks. I like how you did the same as Stephanie and separated out the months. Again it means that my validations may not come until later but I’ll do my best to answer what I can now.
Becks: Oh so true! I have been fighting an uphill battle and feel like I work for everyone else but myself lately! I have been quite miserable about it. Good to hear about starting new relationships - that sounds good.
Becks: Phew! That’s good to hear. I think I will be proud of my accomplishments I have worked very hard lately and I do see some light at the end of the tunnel. I am considering my options, you’re right.
Becks: Wow, spooky, other people have mentioned May as a turning point and it is possible that if the funding comes in for something I am pursuing then it would be around then. I take that as a positive sign. You are probably right actually, many of the restrictions were placed there by myself.
Becks: Actually yes, my younger sister is very artistic and it is both hers and my birthdays in June so maybe it will be something to do with her?
Card 5: July: The Tower (reversed) (personal month 10/1)
A 1 personal month, the cycle starts anew. With the Tower coming up in this position, I'd say that this month will bring abrupt and significant changes for you at work. You'll probably be doing things this month that you wouldn't have dreamed of doing a couple months ago.
Becks: Wow! That is really cool. I really hope you are right. It would also make sense with the timeline, if the decision came in May on this thing I am waiting for, it would probably start in July. I am also going away with work at the end of July and am hoping that will be a turning point. (With the people I hope to move to working with full time).
Becks: Wow! Ok, bear with me. Do you think it could be a cross between the two? i.e. A love interest at work? There is someone that I have a, you know, certain chemistry with and I would be going away right at the end of July and into August with him. If anything were to happen I envisage it being then. Just a thought. (Maybe wishful thinking )
I'm hearing "Ricky" and "flowers" if that means anything for you.
Becks: Not sure. I don’t know a Ricky but I’ll watch out for one. I like flowers but apart from that can’t think of a meaning for it.
Also, do you play the piano? I keep hearing classical piano music being played.
Becks: Yes, I do actually. I am no Beethoven but I play a little Fur Elise is my speciality. Also, my Mum has been playing the piano a lot lately so I keep hearing it.
Thanks for the opportunity, and I hope this brings you some help in the months ahead! Please don't hesitate to pop in and let us know
Becks: Thanks so much and thanks for the reminder to post my responses. I will let you know how it all pans out.

Your feedback was excellent, THANK YOU!!!
It makes so much sense what you said about The Lovers card being about a relationship AT work. I was having trouble because I was focusing on your work, and it really threw me to have that card come up. Have to remember that for next time. Also, I really wish I was more knowledgable with classical music. I knew the tune I was hearing but not its' name. Since you said "Fur Elise", I googled it and that is exactly the piece I was "hearing". (Probably would have meant more if I'd had it's name before you gave your feedback, but oh well. :o )
Good luck with your work and your new relationship, and thanks again for the wonderful feedback you gave!:hearts:

Hi Mrs Jones
You're very welcome. Thank you. That is soooo weird about you hearing that piece of music and I almost didn't mention it too but somehow it came out. I remember watchiogn Crossing Over once and John Edward mentioned that piece, I took that as a sign then as it is very significant to me.
Boy I do hope it means relationship at work. I'll have to let you know about that!
Thanks again:clap:
