Lots of tarot learning going on last night. It's a good place to practice. You can practice in pairs, small groups or you can take a drop-in for a reading in one of the many tarot rooms.
We did have a lot of fun, besides the readings. Stop by some time.

:( Sorry I missed it yesterday! It sounds like you all had a wonderful time! I can't wait for next week if we have some new people wanting to try it to! We're all psychic if you have a pulse...so why not try learning a tool. Maybe it's not for you or maybe it is. Don't be scared to try!! What better environment than here with loving friends? ;)

I had the best time in the chat room last night! I was read by Fairiedust and it was terrific! She really tuned in to me and my situation(s) and validated several things that have been on my mind alot lately. It was comforting to get the messages I can't seem to get or trust on my own. And I felt such a sense of peace and about 100 pounds lighter before I left the chat room. I've been trying to think of how to describe it and the best way is ....healing. It was a healing reading that I very much needed.
Thank you again :hearts: (((((((Bea)))))))))! :hearts:

Thank You Amanda for the kind and encouraging words.
I'm glad you felt so much lighter after the reading. I felt better too. So actually, we helped each other.
Hope to see you next Monday evening in the chat room.

Thanks guys,
BUT, I don't think I'm ready yet.
It's 9:00 central
I will be in the chat room (Tarot room I) if anyone is willing to let me practice on them. Probably be there an hour or so.
Bring your cards if you have them. We can all learn new things..

It's so interesting how we're all so different.
Some of our "weekly readers" don't feel comfortable going "live" in chat yet.
Yet Bea who has been doing only the live chat readings here, doesn't feel like she's ready to go on record for posterity in the weekly readings!
I personally LOVE doing live readings. You can go so much deeper into the meanings of the cards, and images and feelings that you're getting. When someone is right there, saying YES YES YES it's SO validating and confirming, and gives you the courage to go even further with your interpretration. It's such a spiritual experience for both the querent and the reader.
I highly recommend anyone that is considering even just "trying" out reading for others to join our student reader's group. Just PM mrsjones and she'll show you the way!

:wave:Absolutely! Step right up, folks! :hearts:
If you try this, you will be amazed at the similarities between your reading and those of the other readers. They are done blindly of each other but always seem to have some common themes.
C'mon everyone..I just cleaned out my PM inbox, so please feel free to fill it up again!:D:love:

Hi Pam,
Let's just say, I don't know any better.
It came about through our partnering and practicing on each other. It was a nice slow way, but very helpful.
And, I am too down on paper for posterity. You can save in the chat room. I even saved myself, once. The second time Don did...ummm, just making a point that the paper doesn't scare me. Funny how things come out of the mouth sometimes.
When we first started we would do a question for Monday evening. So we had all week to get it done at our own pace. But it just isn't the same. I've been able to compare the two and there is more sizzle to the online. More excitement. Immediate feedback and lots of fun in between.
Online is my favorite.

;) :D See, we are all different but share the same hobbies!!
I gotta spend time staring at the spread....it's like I'm not even on the rabbit ears antenna like JH says...I'm on the UHF little round antenna! Cable is out of my range right now! (Ok, and if you don't know what I'm talking about with UHF then nevermind! Just old folks talk before the days of cable and remotes! ;) )
I also prefer NOT to have any feedback right now until I complete the spread. I don't want to feel influenced by what someone says to me.
I guess its because we all do learn differently!!
Ok, FD, I'll lay off you......for now:angel: .

You could say different.
I just need the chatter while I'm laying a card out. Which reminds me, isn't that what JH kinda did when he was reading someone. He'd stop and have the person say their name just to hear their voice.
I need the text chatter I guess. It's interesting how much of a person's mood you can pick up through the chatter.
I think I would like a chat with all the readers just to discuss the their reading technique. That would be really fun and instructive.
I wouldn't mind substituting, if I could do it in the chat room. But, don't expect me to be as experienced as everyone else, because I'm not really.

It's 7:30 central and heading off to the Tarot Room.
Anyone interested in learning tarot and has questions. I'm up for a discussion.
Do you have a deck, but haven't really used it. Maybe you can find a partner to work with.
