I have to start by telling a story. I sat down Sunday to write the first “Coaching for Your Soul” coaching tip. I feel passionately about helping people to take care of themselves – mind, body, and soul – and I wanted my first post to do just that. I wrote my draft and decided to sleep on it and post it in the morning.
Monday morning the first thing in my mail box was my weekly email newsletter from John Holland - “101 Ways to Jump-Start Your Intuition”. When I read John's newsletter, I was shocked! John’s tip this week is about “Strengthening Your Aura”. I was amazed at the synchronicity in the universe when I realized that the words I had used in my draft were almost identical to John's! I decided that I would rewrite my post and share John's wisdom.
Here’s what John said in today’s newsletter:
When your aura is strong and healthy, it acts as a protective shield to help you stay emotionally and mentally strong and physically healthy, and also enhances your intuitive abilities. To strengthen your aura, maintain a balanced and healthy diet; this week try to get outdoors more often; breathe in clean, fresh air; exercise regularly; and go for a massage or bodywork. Take time to rest, relax, and meditate regularly. All of this will greatly assist in building your intuitive strength as you reinforce your precious aura.
Blessings - John
As I strengthen my aura, only positive energy can enter my space, and only positive energy can go out
My goal for today is to look at John’s tip and to figure out how we take the next step. How do we go about making changes in our lives so that we can strengthen our aura and nourish our soul each day?
It’s easy to pay attention to our body. Usually, when we get thirsty we drink, when we get hungry we eat. But how often do we even take the time to recognize that’s there is more that we need to do to take care of our spiritual self? If we don’t pay attention and listen to what our soul needs, then we feel depleted, lack focus, and have a feeling that things are not going in the right direction.
What do we need to do? As John says, maybe we need to get outdoors, exercise, or meditate. Since my style of coaching is all about getting you to listen to your soul and holding you accountable for striving to live your best life, here's your challenge: Close your eyes, take a deep cleansing breath and listen to your inner wisdom. Then tell us - What will you do this week to strengthen your aura and nourish your soul?
A special thanks to John Holland who continues to inspire us to make positive changes in our lives!:hearts:
