I hope this works,
Getting everything packed for the trip was funny. Clothes for warm weather, cool shipboard conditions, formal dress (by the way everyone was lovely in their Sunday plus best), and all the inbetweens. Inconsequentials like P.J.s came last on the list. We hustled off to the airport with plenty of time to spare and met Paula. We eyed each other up and down for a short while (we'd never met before, just chatted) and finally intoduced ourselves. You are a sweetie Paula. We didn't get to sit together on the plane, but we all made it to the hotel in one piece. Loved that shuttle bus and almost sacrificed my poncho from Italy (I was so excited I forgot it on the shuttle).
We were met in the lobby by Gail, Debbie, Bill and Jeannie (memory failing here) I was a little on the excited side. Dear familiar faces were so welcome. Off you our rooms to get rid of about 100 lbs of luggage we hauled around (loaded donkeys come to mind). I felt like we walked a few miles to our rooms. They were nice and cool (too cool, we turned on the heat---in Florida we turned on the heat). By the way Chassie, we weren't gifted with a refrigerator, etc., but it was okay, we were too tired to care.
Dinner was sort of where is the closest food and let's get to bed. I believe some went to Taco Bell and others went on the hunt for Fridays. Tummies full and it was bedtime.
