Thanks everyone. Hard to believe this last year has flown so fast! :eek:

It has had some truly bright spots however - most notably watching my granddaughter Eva learn to talk and really start to show her personality - what a doll. Last night, she helped me blow out the candles on the birthday cake that she and Mommy made for me. She added the 'sprinnies' (that is sprinkles for those of you not familiar with 2-speak). :laff2: This week she has begun to use the words yours and mine in a very nice, non-possesive way. What a concept! She isn't even 2 and a half yet. She and Grandma have lots of fun - uh, we slurped our spaghetti together last night - not sure Mommy and Daddy really appreciated it but we all had some big laughs and it got Eva to eat before she could have cake. I had a 'brown' cake but she is going to have 'pink' cake for her birthday - on that point she is adamant! :D

PS Thanks Leigh, I will try to take time for ME today. I may not 'go out' though - I am already out on the road 3 hours every day running Phil back and forth to work! Staying in with a warm bath and good book might work well though! :dance: Hey, you know what it is like to be doing a lot for others too so take some time for YOU today to celebrate my birthday! :love:
