Hi, just today I was thinking about reviving some of the tarot games we played a year or so ago. During the summer, I thought about having a tarot class and having chat readings one night a week. If there is some interest, I would be happy to give one night or afternoon a week to classes and or student readings.:)
Hi Valentinebaby66, welcome to our site! At one time we did have a tarot teacher, but she had to go offline to attend to family stuff.
We are certainly a place where you can learn by communicating with and interacting with other tarot enthusiasts though! And there are many fine online resources for "teach yourself tarot" that you can use, and then come here and throw around ideas. One such site is www.LearnTarot.com.
If you want more teacher led instructions, the folks at www.tarotschool.com are awesome teachers. They have online classes, teleconferences and more. I took a workshop with the owners, Ruth Ann & Wald Amberstone who were just wonderful to work with. Great teachers, very knowledgeable.
Hey Jeannie, yeah man, I'd love to get the tarot talk going again. I'd love to do some free (short) readings again, but I just don't have time to administer the list.

Thanks to both of you. I am having a bit of trouble learning the cards. Several books have told me they give a general meaning and for me to do things like lay out three cards for myself for the next day (Morning, afternoon and evening) then at the end of the next day, read the general meaning and apply it to my day, thus giving me my own interpretation of the card. This works quite a bit, but there have been several cards that just don't seem to fit.......
Readings would be great too, I just got back from Florida (I live in Louisiana) and had some really great tarot, spirit and numerology readings, which revived my interest in learning all over again. (Have been into this stuff my whole life, but on an on again, off again basis) so anything ya'll have to offer will be great and I will also check out the sites recommended.
Thx again

Hey Jeannie,
I wouldn't mind trying a chat room tarot reading program. I learned quite a bit last year and it was a lot of fun.
Let us know and maybe a few of us can join you in the chat room.

If you start an evening class, I would love to be a part of it. My sister is also trying to learn and may be interested as well. I have been studying numerology and it is also helping me learn, but those court cards are still tricky.
Thanks

:dance:I was actually thinking it would be nice to start back in January after the busy holiday season. I thought that if there was some interest, I would give a 5 week class (one evening a week) on the basics of tarot readings and we could revive the student readings and the chat readings.
What do you think, guys?
