this morning on the tv show Beyond Chance--which I just happened to have on, I don't usually watch tv in the mornings except for CO taped the night before--there was a story of a woman whose heart stopped for 4 minutes. she was able to tell the paramedics later exactly what they had done for her, thus confirming that she was aware and out of her body. the interesting thing about this is that her husband saw her float above her body and he saw their deceased dog by the stretcher she was on. she said her dog guided her to other planes of existance. she was taught that the purpose of life here is that we are here for the joy of it, to experience the wonder of each moment.

think of it--we are here for the experience and the joy!

Oh, cool. Then maybe I can quit my job....FAT CHANCE.

No, seriously though, I truly believe that we came to beat negativity. To take all the stuff around us and somehow squeeze that ounce of joy out of the experience. Even when it's a tough lesson, there is the JOY that we survived it.
