Dearest Friends,

Thank you so much for your kind words! I can't begin to tell you how much they mean to me! I must confess, last night I went to bed feeling somewhat concerned that my response to Barbara may have been too much. In my prayers, I asked God to help others understand my message the way it was intended. The last thing I want is to hurt anyone! I guess I identified with Barbara and wanted to spare her the negative feelings of frustration and hopelessness that I experienced in the beginning.

I cannot believe that it is part of God's plan to bless John with this amazing ability to reach others, only to create feelings of dispair. Doesn't make sense to me.

I look at it this way..............I have experienced a spiritual "brain-fart" and now I can't locate my "spirit owner's manual!" John's job is to give us the information and encouragement, not necessarily do the job for us!

Thank you, again for listening with your hearts! Big HUGS to all of you! You are all a gift!

Paige,
I thought your message was really nice, and it really put things in perspective. Sometimes I think about how cool it would be to meet John and have a reading! (I am way jealous of the person who met him at the sausage makers in Pike Place Market in Seattle -- now I want to drive up there and hang out in case he comes back...)

But your message reminds us that we too can receive messages from those who have crossed over. As John says, he thinks the main difference is that he pays attention...

(I really do think he has an unusual gift because he can hear everybody's relatives, but I do think nearly everyone can get messages from their own relatives.)

I did meet someone who met John Edward when she was flying in the same airplane he was. A few months before my husband's death, my daughter gave me a gift certificate for a full body massage to help me ease my stress. I didn't schedule it until about a month after he died and I arrived early at the therapists' office. The door was still locked and another woman walked up to me. She worked in the office next door and forgot her building key. I told her why I was there and how much I needed the massage. Out of the blue she asked, "have you ever seen John Edward. I told her we watched him together. She and a good friend were flying somewhere and John was seated very near them. The friend had lost her son not too long before. John gave her an incredible free reading and gave them both seminar tickets. There was absolutely no way he could have known the things he told her friend.
It probably was meant for me to hear her story to
help confirm my belief in John's gift.

I wonder if John's, or anyone else's, ability to
read "spontaneously," is effected by the recipient's willingness to be read. We all get the messages when we are ready to hear them! I know from my own experiences, the energies in the surrounding environment can literally suck the life out of me! I think there are too many variables in this universe to narrow it down!

I have found that it is easier to take things in stride - especially where John is concerned. Be happy for those who have met John or been read by him! He has consistently stayed true to his profession and honored his gift. To try and speculate how, when or why he reads, is a waste of energy. I know in my heart that the people who need to hear from John the most, will. It's that simple. Think of the poor, unsuspecting souls that DON'T want to be read by John, but are, anyway! It all depends on how you look at it!!
