HEY EVERYONE!!!

Just wanted to check in and see who is attending Journey OF the Soul In Anaheim tomorrow? I would love to be able to talk here with anyone who is attending as to expectations, feelings etc about the seminar; I'm excited about it and thought I would have read more posts this week about it!! I'm worried about getting there early
enough but I don't want to spend 4 hours in line as I read here has happened at other events. Well.....good luck to all attending!!!

Myself and my husband will be attending the seminar tomorrow. I live in Anaheim (less than a mile from the convention center). We bought preferred seating tickets, but I am not really sure how early we should plan on getting there either.
I am hopeful of getting read, but not expecting to. The only expectation I am taking along with me, is that it will be a very interesting and enjoyable day. Each speaker is connected with things I am highly interested in.
Anyway..hope all those going have a wonderful time. Blessings!

"I don't want to spend 4 hours in line..." AprilG

I was just reminding my son in Sept. - could he believe it's been 10 years ago since I waited in line for 7 hrs for the 25th Star Trek Annniversay show at the Shrine Auditorium? (Included the Classic Star Trek and The Next Gen.) I gained instant respect from my son's frat brothers - they said "Your Mother spent 7 hrs in line for Star Trek?" That alone made it worthwhile. Plus last time Gene Roddenberry was in public (very bad shape in a wheelchair).

I want to touch on this later in another thread because it invokes a spiritual thought.

WOW!! Chumani you have my respect too!! Guess I'm just not that patient. I was telling my sister-in-law who's attending with me tomorrow how I dislike festival seating type arrangements. Even in my younger years I would never go to those big rock concerts that were so popular because I didn't want to wait in line. Now that I'm older...well "forget about it"!! Hopefully it will be "fun" to wait in line tomorrow with all the attendees!!

Well, the wife and I just got back into San Diego from the seminar.

We arrived shortly after 6:30 and the line for our group was alread some 200 people long. By the time the doors opened at 8:00 there were at least 1500 people behind us.

John came out to a standing ovation, and I think he was really touched.

He rocked, just as always. I can now testify that what you see on TV is exactly what happens. No edits to make it look better, what you see on Crossing Over is just what you see in real life.

He read one lady, and he came to a point where he said that a gentleman had a cat with him. It was hers, it had just passed away. When he mentioned the cat he made a motion like he was holding it by the tail and said that's what he was getting. We all cracked up at the mental picture.

There was another woman whose coworker had been on Flight 175. The audience gasped upon hearing that. John asked if she had his computer equipment, she said no. Then she realized that she was filling in for his position, and was using his desk. And computer. When that reading was done, the applause was especially heartfelt. For John of course, but also for the woman and the man on the flight. It was very touching.

He had someone coming through who he felt had passed in a skiing accident. A woman thought it might be for her, but she said it wasn't a skiing accident. When pressed she said that it was a car accident that happened returning from a ski outing. She had lost her father and brother in the accident.

Another reading he started with the statement "Get ready. A whole tribe is coming through." There were some 10 relatives waiting to make themselves known.

Some great, great readings and some wonderful validations.

There were many others that I will let other folks pass along. Must have been 12 to 14.

Towards the end of his time he mentioned that he has been in the midst of controversy the last few days, obviously referring to the WTC readings that will not be shown. I got the impression that it hurt him. I just wanted to stand up and shout "We're with you John!".

To me, John Edward is the vanguard of a new spirtual awakening. Through his work he is opening many eyes to the possibility of another existance, to psychic powers. And he's catching a lot of grief from some quarters. That bothers me. He has to know we care, we support him, and we are so, so grateful for his courage in standing up.

Anyway, next was Dr. Charles Richards, a psychologist who works in Karmic healing and past life regression. John was a tough act to follow. Dr. Richards started off strong, but a lot of people started getting up and leaving, I believe to get an early start on lunch, and it seemed to affect his presentation. He did lead the audience in a great past life retrieval method. I got some information about one past life that will be helpful. He then opened it up to questions and one lady came on and starting laying into him about using hypnotherapy and the dangers of leading folks into exploring past trauma. He answered her questions and then she started in on him again. The audience started yelling for her to sit down. She stormed out.

After lunch we had Debbie Ford talking about "shadow work" where a person can learn to accept and appreciate the qualities we all possess that we aren't exactly proud of. Another great tool was gained from her guided meditation leading us to learn about one of those traits.

It finished off with Sylvia Brown. Hilarious. She was wonderful. And she spoke her mind. She laid into Jerry Falwell and called him a name I can't repeat here.

Then she said that evil does exist, there are "dark figures" among us. But, she said, none of the 7000 or so of us in attendance was likely to be one of those dark figures. She said dark figures don't like to be pointed out. Then she acted as if she were getting a phone call from Charles Manson asking "Am I a dark figure?" She said things like that just don't happen. Then she did "This is Osama Bin Laden. Am I a dark figure?" With a sharpness and anger in her voice she said..."like charcoal".

She talked about choosing to be reincarnated and how one feels upon arriving back on this plane. She said that people like to look into a baby's eyes and say they can see eternity in those eyes. She disagreed saying what you really saw in a newly arrived baby's eyes are "Oh ****!"

But it wasn't all funny. She spoke of what was, in her opinion, the greatest pain a human being can face...the loss of a child. She said that once a person had experienced that, they could be assured that nothing they ever faced in life again would be as bad as that.

That proved to be especially poignant, as when she did some reading there were several who had lost children, and her compassion showed through.

All in all, a very good day, very uplifting and educational.

Thanks for the info Lan Man! I was at the Columbus seminar 3 wks ago and I know just what you mean about John. I could have sat for days just listening to him.

Sylvia sounds like a hoot! I would also love to see her in person as I have watched her many times on Montel and she was the first person to draw me into all of this. Of course John is #1 with me.

Hey Lan Man!!
I was so glad to just read your post! I too was at the show and was worried when I got home because some members had expressed interest in hearing the
details of JE' readings and frankly it all was such a rush I neglected to takes notes or really remember specific details in chronological order as you have so aptly done here . Kudos to you for being so detailed!!
Just to let everyone reading this know, Lan Man has given a very good synopsis of today's events. Seeing John was very exciting to say the least. I think those that attended will agree there was an amazing, kinetic feel when he came out . My heart was pounding!! As he began to read the room, it was hard to keep up with all the info he was giving people. The lady's reading about her boss, his partner and son who were on Flight 175 was incredible and heartwrenching as you said. The lady who's daughter was in the army was sitting behind us to the left. John asked her if she had come with a group of six. She had and by her response to the question you could tell she was particulary "blown away" by this validation. It was very exciting to listen to the readings I must say.
It's funny you brought up Dr. Richards and the extremly rude woman who was so confrotational with him. While I agree that folowing JE was a tall order and I really felt for Dr. Richards it was hard to stay focused on his lecture after such an exciting start. However, that woman was SO incredibly rude and unkind to attack him in such a manner. It wasn't as if she were just asking him questions, she totally tried to disparage hi and it appalled me. I was one of the audience members who spoke up and quite loudly yelled at her from the back section 'SIT DOWN!!" You know, it very well may have been me you heard!!!! I did feel bad for the other speakers today because people were getting up and leaving etc. Although they may not have commanded the attention of John and even Sylvia , they at least deserved to be trested with respect. I must say that Dr. Richards reacted with grace and decorum. He seems like a very nice man.
Hey, did you hear the lady that said a piece of cheese( not swiss!) got off the bus with her during Debbie Ford's exercise? I was a BIT confused by this?!?!?! HUh?
Anyway, thanks "Lan Man" for such an eloquent recap.........April

Hi.....to anyone reading my last post; please forgive the blatant errors in spelling, grammar etc. I am SO tired after attending the show today and did not proofread before posting! My Mom (passed) prompted me to write a retraction!! Take Care All.....April

Yep, AprilG. The cheese one got me to shaking my head.... But not as much as the young gentleman before her who just kept saying he was happy to be able to talk, and would talk as long as he was standing there, but didn't know what to talk about. But he thanked her for the opportunity to talk.

To those that weren't there, Debbie led us on a guided meditation where we envisioned ourselves riding down an elevator. When the doors open, there is a bus there. We were directed to get on the bus, and then picture the bus being filled with people. The idea was that the people would be real folks we knew who represented ideals or traits we didn't like, or they would be those traits in human form.

We would select one, then get off the bus with them and talk to them.

Well, the lady in question said she was very puzzled, as when she got off the bus a wedge of cheese had followed her. But it wasn't Swiss. And she didn't know what the cheese meant. It was priceless to see her face when she asked "What in the world does cheese mean?"

I don't think Debbie knew what cheese meant either. :)

LAN thank you for sharing :) Can you expand on the following reading for us? I am curious how accurate you feel it was.

Please and Thank You...

He had someone coming through who he felt had passed in a skiing accident. A woman thought it might be for her, but she said it wasn't a skiing accident. When pressed she said that it was a car accident that happened returning from a ski outing. She had lost her father and brother in the accident.

Do you think that most (if not all) was validated? Someone else has made a comment about this, and it has me wondering.

Be glad to. This is all coming from memory, so the order of the questions may be off as well as the wording and some details, but I'll try to get the key points.

He started by saying he was getting someone who died in a skiing accident, he was getting an impact, they ran into a tree. Then he pointed out the area it was coming from. A couple of times he had to say "from this area, someone has someone above them who died in a skiing accident, from an impact."

After about a minute a young woman held up her hand and said that her father had died in an accident but it wasn't skiing. It was a car accident returning from a ski trip.

"Was he driving?"

"No, his girlfriend was driving."

John said he felt the driver was at fault. He said he was getting a a blackout, like the driver couldn't see, like maybe she fell asleep. She couldn't confirm that, she said she didn't know. Several times John returned to the blackout, he would pass his hand in front of his eyes, saying that all of a sudden he couldn't see.

He said he was getting three and two, were there five people in the accident. She said yes, two died, three lived.

John said he felt it was quick, he got the feeling they were there and then they weren't.

I believe the lady also said her brother died in the accident, I could be wrong but I don't think John had been given someone to the side yet. John asked if her brother had been sitting directly behind her father. She hesitantly said yes. I got the feeling she wasn't sure, then she was.

He returned seveal times to the "blackout" saying it was like the driver could see and then could see nothing, that something went wrong or she fell asleep.

I'm hoping that someone else that was there can add some more details, but overall I got the feeling that it was very accurate.

He got impact, skiing, five people with 3 and 2, father died, son behind father. I'm almost positive that he also got initials or names, but cannot recall for sure.

 Wasn't that the same one where he said there is something about "tall"....he thought it had to do with the name of a place. The woman verified that one of the people in the car was 6 ft 4 in....but John didn't seem to be sure that this was what the "tall" referred to. And was this the same gal that he said there is something about 44...and eventually he said he thought that the number was up on something like a house....and the woman's house number ended with 44.????

Also, I remember the "cheese" lady getting the feeling of "vanity" from the cheese. Like this was the issue she needed to deal with. But she wasn't sure if she was supposed to be more vain, or less vain?????

I believe it was the same person. He never did get a confirmation on the 'tall" though he said it could be the name of a place.

And I think you're right, it may have been the woman to whom he said he was getting the number 44. She did reply that the address of the house she grew up in was "3044".

Yep, now that you mention it, Debbie did mention cheese may refer to vanity. Then when asked if she had ever heard of anyone leaving the bus with cheese she replied, "Cheese, spinich, you name it, I've seen it." :)

Well, I went to this back in October. I flew to CA and met some others at the airport from my family and we stayed together.

We went to the convention center, of course with high hopes and expectations, but also knowing that even if we didn't hear from our loved ones it would be an enlightening uplifting experience.

John did a reading that we felt was for us but it was such a huge forum, it wasn't possible for us to jump in and say that we thought it was for our family.

So, does anyone know if John possibly has a tape of this. I know that it was announced at the beginning that this would not be taped. I am just hoping.
