I have been reading the Friends of JE board for about a month now and feel compelled to post after having the most incredible evening last night at the SF seminar. I have to say that I only discovered JE about three months ago. I have become an avid fan and decided to try to get tickets as soon as I heard he was coming. I was finally able to get them through ebay and was a little disappointed to be in the balcony. I had a terrible time getting there- parking and traffic were horrendous. I ended up sitting down after he started but was amazingly surprised to be his second reading of about 15 in almost three hours of readings. In fact several of his readings were in the balcony so if you're going, don't worry about where you sit! In any case, I will say that in the month preceding the show I spent a lot of time thinking about all of my family and friends that passed and tried to be "open to the process" and I think it worked. In any case, he pointed to my section and said "I'm coming here next with someone who passed in a tub." I validated three things he said so I raised my hand and he said no to me and went to a man three rows in front of me. That man tried to make things fit but they weren't connecting. Meanwhile I kept on validating so I raised my hand again; (actually I waved them at John). This time he listened to me, then said "They're telling me I am with you and that I should have stayed with you all along-I owe you and apology!" It truly was an amazing experience. From that point on I connected with almost every single thing he said. Some of the things he said were things I hadn't thought of in years. I don't mean to be long winded but I do think that though this was not the family I expected to come through, they are my grandmother's family and she is ill right now so I'm sure that's why they chose this opportunity to connect with me. I also found out from his manager after the show that he will start on CBS Aug.27, every day at 3 p.m and Scifi will chage his time to 8 p.m. each night. That thrilled me because, quite frankly, I'm exhausted from staying up until midnight every night! She also said he will take July and August off from touring but will start up again in the fall so be sure to keep checking his site for dates and places. Sorry to go on, but he is a most amazing man and the experience was life changing for me. Besides that, he's cute and so funny in person! It was truly worth every penny and all my aggravation to get there.....

Kim's Testimony part two:
in reply to Pam's post
Be long winded, be long winded!!! (the more people that make long posts, then I won't look so odd ;) Please...share as many details about your reading as possible. What's this about a tub?

Ok, you asked for it!! Basically the reading started with the tub comment. My grandmother's brother was found dead in the tub. From there (once he finally stuck with me) I was able to validate names of family members here and crossed, all related through my grandmother. Then he mentioned a past event with a reference to his and my "warped sense of humor". This pertained to an incident where he said my brother had an accident (when we were kids)outside, to the side of our house and I laughed hysterically at him, not realizing until later "the severity of his injury". He also asked who else was there and I said my other brother. This was a sledding accident, in the woods next to our house. He careened down a hill, hit a tree and lay there (dazed, I'm sure). Well my other brother and I were laughing because he looked funny, sledding so fast and out of control. (Keep in mind that this was when I was no older than 10 or 11- of course I would be more sensitive now!)Later that day we found out my brother had broken his arm. He also referenced the new baby in our family, "A" name Anna and its parallel. There are two Annas in my family.Incidentally, the reason I believe these relatives came through is because my grandma had a mastectomy on Wednesday and she is the only surviving sibling of her family of origin. He mentioned a cop in the family, there are a couple. He mentioned boxes all around "someone is moving". Well, in the past three months my dad and both brothers have moved and this past weekend my husband and I tried to buy a house that did not go through. I am also a teacher and I am moving my classroom to the other side of our building in June and on Tuesday the janitor delivered 30 or 40 boxes to my classroom. There's more...I feel a little self concious about how long this is. I have to add two (significant?)incidents that occured that night. After my reading I turned to the young guy next to me and he was holding a poker chip from a casino in the MA area-Foxwoods and said his dad died there. I am originally from MA. Then as I was leaving, I looked across the aisle and saw a woman carrying a plastic shopping bag from Plimoth Plantation. Every time my relatives (same ones who came through to me that night) came to visit from CT, we took them to the Plantation. I tried to ask her about the bag but was distracted by the man who thought my reading was his and missed asking that woman about the bag. Hmmmmmm.....

Kim, are you a member of the new board here? I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed reading your post; I remember your excellent reading, as well.

Don't worry about being long-winded -- we love long-winded! It's those little details and the commentary that give us the further validations from your reading.

Tammy, thanks for posting Kim's Testimonial here. I just joined the Delphi site in July and have been a new member here for only about a week, so I must've missed that post.

Hi Jude, yes I am a member here and at Delphi. I have been on vacation and am just now getting back to my "normal" routine. I asked Tammy to move my post for me since I am not so good at technical things yet and she very kindly did. Thanks for your encouraging words. That night truly made me a believer. There were so many specific validations that there is just no way he is not real. I feel so lucky to have had that reading and five minutes of John's time. If you can ever get to a seminar, do it. There is no experience like it in this world !:)

**If you can ever get to a seminar, do it. There is no experience like it in this world!**

Kim, you're SO right -- there is NOTHING like it! I have attended three of John's seminars and was lucky enough to get a reading at my very first one last fall. My nieces attended a seminar and got a reading eleven months earlier. Our experiences have changed our lives. :o

I have submitted bits and pieces of my story, some here, more at Delphi. Very soon I hope to have those pieces compiled into something readable. :user:

Hope you had a great vacation. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

Lucky you...3 seminars. Were you at the SF seminar? I have only seen him once but will gladly see him again if he comes back to the SF Bay Area. I would like to have gone to LA but I really am not that interesed in seeing the others, just John, so I didn't make the effort to buy a ticket and am now a little bit sorry. Part of the problem is that my husband is not the least bit interested and so it makes the logistics a little harder (kids, etc.) In any case, I'm keeping my eyes open.

BTW, our vacation was incredible. It was the first time in 15 years that my husband took 10 days off and we took our kids to Maui. What a great time. I feel like our trip was a direct result of my newfound spiritual awareness and all the things I've learned in the past 6 or 8 months since finding JE and CO. So many things are happening that I've been praying about. Just another benefit.

I'll look forward to reading your story. It sounds like a good one!

Kim,

Your vacations sounds wonderful -- good for you! Glad you had such a nice time.

In answer to your question, the three seminars I attended were:

Houston -- November 9, 2000 *Got a reading!* :D

New Orleans -- November 12, 2000

Austin -- May 4, 2001

I can't imagine that I'll ever get another reading, but I do plan on attending as many of JE's seminars as possible in the future. Just being with so many other believers, feeling the energy, and sharing their stories makes it all worthwhile.
