I just charged 4 tix for Atlantic City on Saturday, December 8th.
WHO ELSE IS GOING? Can't wait to meet up with other Friends! Sorry I'm going to miss ya Cyn (Scrambled), Gail (Widow) and Chargeit2him on Friday! Maybe JE will do a NYC seminar soon that we can all meet up at!
I just received my tix for New Haven CT this week, so I will be seeing JE TWICE in December, in New Haven on 12/1 and in Atlantic City on 12/8.

I got three tickets for the 8th.When I called I asked for either the 7th or 8th and she asked which one,without thinking I said the 8th just because it was a Saturday and wouldn't have to make arrangements about getting off work.Anyway,that is the 8th month anniversary of our sons passing.We saw John Edward in Pittsburgh on our sons second month angel anniversary.Didn't get a reading but was just awesome being there.I haven't checked the web-site for a few days and am so glad I checked it today.Told my husband right away and he said to go ahead and call.I can't wait!

Hi aGuise, Daughtie (my daughter Valerie) is also going, along with my son and daughter-in-law.
It's a three hour drive for us, and Valerie and I are staying overnight. My son and daughter in law are driving for 4 hours and coming back after. They have my brand new grand daughter and don't want to leave her and my 15 month grandson with their other grandmother too long.

I am going to John's seminar on Dec. 8th, at the Taj Mahal in
Atlantic City. I just ordered the tickets, and I am so-o- excited!! I can't believe it!!

I am finally going to get to see him, IN PERSON!!

I didn't know he was going to be in NJ!! Just happened to see it on his schedule on his web site. Then I checked the calender for Dec. and saw it there. JUST 3 WEEKS TO GO!!!!

I ordered my tickets for the Dec. 8th seminar this past Saturday! I can't wait. The seats are not the best, (actually if I was any further I'd probably be at a different casino) but it is soooo worth it.
I had been waiting for a seminar that was close to me. I almost missed out on this one too. I haven't been able to really go on the chats or read posts lately. (been bombarded with work) I just happen to go on the site for a minute of Friday night and clicked on the last post. ((((((Thanks a million aguise)))))). If it wasn't for your post I would have missed my chance to see JE live.

Anyway,I am with you on the seats for the seminar.I called Friday afternoon after reading posts on here.They were sold out of the more expensive tickets but decided it didn't really matter where you sit.When I was at the Pittsburgh seminar we were about four rows back and when the readings were done in the middle or back of the room we got kinks in our necks from turningI around.It will just be awesome being there although we have to get up VERY early in the morning as it is further for us to drive than I thought.I will sleep the whole way while my hubby drives!
It will be well worth the trip!

FYI...I'm dragging hubby along. He's is not a true believer in JE but actually agreed to go with me and even suggested I buy the tickets when I was dissapointed about the seats. (He's truly a great guy...I'm blessed)

Hi Aguise,

I'm way up north, Old Tappan, it's on the border of NY State.

My tickets are for 300 section. I was too late for the better seats, but am just happy to be going. I looked at the seating arrangement, and we are pretty far up.

I got through with the phone call on the first Saturday in September and haven't heard anything yet, so this is the next best thing.

Counting down the days until the 8th!! :D

Our tickets are for the 7th and I was fortunate to get the expensive, close seats:D All of us going that day are meeting in an area at the top of the escalator stairs to the theater. It would also be a good place for the people going on the 8th to meet.

Yes, Scrambled6. There are escalators leading up to the theater entrance. On the right at the top there is an area with benches. We have picked a time to meet there. Your group could do the same thing. I found a better map of the seats in the Xanadu than the one at Ticketmaster. I'm still a computer novice so I don't know how to put the link here. I went to Google....typed in Taj Mahal
Xanadu seating...and I think the first choice was the Taj Mahal with a seating map on it. I now know exactly where we are seated, not just the general area.

Does anyone know if you can park anywhere near the casino?I have only ever gone there by bus and someone told me we may have to park in a parking garage and then take a shuttle over to the casino.I want to allow enough time since we are getting up early in the morning to leave.Thanks,

Hi Crystal, The Taj has a parking garage and to the left and right of the Taj are the Showboat and the Resorts casinos. All have large parking garages and they should only be $2.00 to park.
Both the Showboat and Resorts have hallways to get to the Taj without going outside. They are a little difficult to find but any of the casino staff will direct you. All casinos want you to wander through them to find things in hope that you will stop to play on the way. :D THe casinos all have nice places to eat if you get there early. Hope this helps. (The Showboat was my husband's and my favorite one to visit).

I decorated the tree today and had a good cry in the middle of doing it. We always did it together.
The mailman came by and I went out to get my mail. One envelope looked kind of ordinary and I thought it was more junk mail. I opened it and inside were my Seminar Tickets for Dec. 7Th.:jumper: :jumper: :jumper: What a way to cheer me up.

I was a little worried, so I called the ticketmaster, (where I purchased them) and I was told that they were mailed out on Nov. 23. So I am hoping to get them tomorrow (Monday). Here is a good place to meet; (special thanks to my great friend Scrambled6-luv ya Cyn!)

- To meet people before you go into the theater at the Xanadu, I recommend that once you go up the escalotors to get to room (which will be left off the escalator), go right instead, you will come to a wall/window and possible benches. You can't go any further than that. It's easy, no confusion and plus you are right there practically to get into the room. Hope that helped for a meeting place.

Is this OK with everyone? How about 10:30am? I would love to get a photo of all of us!

Today is Monday and I still didn't get my tickets.If I don't get them Tuesday I am calling them.I would love to meet you all if we get there in time.We have to get up real early.Don't want to spend the night Friday because of our younger son and our dog.
Our dog is like a big baby......he is a two year old rotweiller but is spoiled rotten and thinks he needs to go everywhere with us.Don't think John would appreciate us taking a 100 lb. rottie with us so we have to get up around 4:30 or 5:00.I will sleep most of the way.Hope to see ya!

Take the picture and return the camera to the car?:( Do they make you remove your cameras from your pocketbook before entering the seminar?:shrug: I wouldn't take it out if it came in with me.

When we went to the seminar in June people were taking pictures.Several were taking them at the beginning and John asked them to wait until the end because he was seeing spots.We were sitting right beside the door he went in and out of so we got a real close one of him.Maybe since then they have said no pictures.I was surprised they allowed pictures there anyway.

When I called the ticketmaster, I was told the tickets were sent out on Nov. 23. I also suspect that the delay is partly because of the recent scares and delays at the post office, but also because of the weekend. However, if I don't get the tickets in todays mail, I am calling again.

Picture taking is not allowed on the casino floor, but people take pictures in and around the lobby all the time. I wonder if they will allow us to take them inside the Xanadu room. I am going to be up so high, I don't think that the pictures would even be that great, but I would love to take them anyway!

Gail, take your camara with you but don't turn it on inside the venue! Same with cell phones etc etc. There was someone behind us at the last seminar who's phone was on, and who I think was recording the readings. ( I don't know what that was laying next to her on the chair ).

Anyhow, no one was read in our section all night. Everywhere else except our section.

So, anyone reading this; please be considerate of those around you. Maybe you would prefer a tape of the seminar to a reading, but there are others who may really want to be read.

The last thing I would do is ever take it out in the seminar. :) Now I have to decide whether to take my regular camera or the digital. The digital might be better so I could email copies to any in the Friday group who wants one. I'll be wearing a "fanny pack" because they are safer to wear in a casino and it isn't very large. Need room for my notebook and all the money I will be winning. :D

To all, I am bringing a camera to take pictures before, but not during, the seminar (unless they announce that photographs are allowed, maybe at the end, but I doubt it very much). I will keep my camera inside my purse during the seminar. I will not bring a tape recorder, because like Psyquestor explained, if someone in your section tapes the seminar, it's possible that no one in that section will get a reading. And I would love to get a reading! I am bringing a notebook *kicking myself for not taking shorthand in school* and a list of names/dates (just in case I get a reading - and amnesia!)

The John Edward site finally put "sold out" on the AC seminars. The tickets on sale on Ebay for it are crazy. Two front row seats just went for over $800:eek: So happy I got mine early from ticketmaster.:)
