Hi guys

I'll be joining you in Albany too (hi again Flora!!). Yes I also am going to Boston the next day too. Yes I went a little crazy but since I am about the same mileage from both I said what the heck:D . I KNOW I will be exhausted after 2 seminars in a row but what a way to be exhausted!!

Hope we can meet up there. I'm going to try and do a shirt to wear.

If John ever gets back to Baltimore, which is very close to me, I would be willing to let at least four of you stay at my place overnight... two guest rooms and one large sofa.:)

thank you so much for the invite. in june when we saw john in baltimore we drove from nj about 230 miles however when we went back to our car it had broken down in the lot beside the convention center. aaa towed us back that night and we got in at 6 in the morning but it was still worth the trip. hope i can get to meet you sometime, thanks again.

I just purchased tickets for the Albany seminar too!!! I am so excited. I also attended the seminar in Baltimore in June and have been anxiously awaiting going to another one. I, unfortunately, did not get to the Baltimore seminar early enough, so had to sit pretty far back. I'm hoping to do better this time though!

I will be coming from Germantown, Maryland to Albany. If anyone knows anything about what the hotel is like where the seminar will be held, please let me know! I want to be in line as early as I possibly can :-)

I will also be making a T-shirt before the seminar! So, I hope to get a chance to meet some of you there!

I am very excited to be going to my second JE seminar. I went to the Cleveland seminar and I just got tickets for the Albany seminar. The funny thing is I was not even looking for them. I use to read this page every day but was getting discouraged about not getting through for tickets to the gallery (been trying for almost 1 year). Now I only look every couple of weeks. I checked a few days ago and saw the Albany Seminar (three hour drive for me), picked up the phone and called and got 3 tickets.

I am in the process of reading John's newest book. while I am enjoying it I am a little dissappointed that much of the same stuff was in the first book. I am not that far so maybe it gets better.

Anyone else going to the Albany Seminar? I was thinking of wearing my CAV shirt I got from here!!

Will keep you posted....

Hi jefan101

I'll be going to Albany also and I think a couple of others here are going too. This will be my third seminar. Aren't they great? It is just so exciting to be in the same room as him and see him do readings live. Who's going with you? My hubby is going with me.

I was thinking of making a shirt from the great ideas from here on the website. Did you make your own?

Hope we can meet. Kathy

I ordered the Iron on months ago but never did anything with it. Now I am going to find a nice white shirt to put it on and wear to the seminar. I am going with my Mom and my cousin. My husband is not interested.

The seminar I went to in Cleveland was done with seat numbers so I did not have to worry about what time I got there. Do you have any idea what time you need to get there to get a relatively good seat? Even though it is only 3 hours we are spending the night at the hotel so we can go to dinner and talk about the event.

Even tho it DOESN'T matter where you sit as far as getting a reading I like to be down front to be able to see John up close. I'm one of those insane people who get in line at 7-8 AM. I just hope the line is inside. One place I was it was inside but in New Haven everyone had to stand outside. Luckily the weather was nice. Hard to say for April 6 in the Northeast. (I think Albany would be considered the Northeast) Being originally from Vermont the TRUE northeast is only New England:) .

Take care Kathy

By the way, what is your name if you don't mind:)

This is going to be so much fun!

Do you have any idea what time you need to get there to get a relatively good seat?

If you want to see John up close then yes, it's probably better to get there earlier and get an aisle seat, but again with this cold weather who knows if the line will be in the street or not. But regarding readings, it doesn't matter where you are in the room, John will find you if it is your message. Also, remember, to have the BEST experience - go with NO EXPECTATIONS.

When we were in New Haven, John started right out in the very very back of the room, and it was with a woman who had arrived late due to car problems. Then after that he was all over the room.

One tip on the transfers if you're going to make the shirts - I've found that you need to trim them up and cut away the excess transfer paper as much as you can, and make sure you iron all around the edges of the transfer as much as you do the center of it so it doesn't start peeling from the edges after the transfer is removed.

Good luck all and we'll have a chat about this before the date of the event. Hope to see you there!

Thanks for the tips on the transfers for the t-shirts. I'm glad I have plenty of time to get my shirt made.

I will also be attending the seminar in Albany and bringing my 16 year old daughter...who, by the way, is ecstatic about going. It will be a good mother/daugher trip! We are also staying at the hotel that the seminar will be at. I am soooo excited too!

So should we really go downstairs to look for lines at 7 or 8 in the morning? If so, that's fine....I just want to be able to sit up front and watch JE in action.

Look forward to meeting everyone!

Take Care - Jean
