I introduced myself a while back but have had very little time to post. No one probably even remembers me but I hope everyone is doing well.
Ok, like I said this will sound crazy but every few weeks I seem to have a dream in which John Edward or Sylvia Browne or both will show up and be a major part of my dream. Usually they are just talking to me, but they talk a lot and they usually precede some sort of what I call glimpse of the other side or a visit with my grandmother who died 4 years ago.
I just had a dream last night in which John came into my grandmother's house and talked, can't remember what he said, but then he walked away and shrunk to a child size and then I was that child and then all of a sudden I could feel my grandmother inside my head in her voice telling me all kinds of things...like ..."tell her about the time I took the cat down the hallway and ..blah blah blah ," just on and on really mundane everyday things that happened in her life.
One of the most amazing dreams was when Sylvia Browne showed up in a dream and told me that John was more talented (hee hee :)) and that if I put these special glasses on I could see the Other Side. So I did and I saw the Other Side super-imposed over our own world in these beautiful colors and all these pulsating lights that were spirits hanging around people on this side infusing them with love and guiding them (I could see the Other side and this world at the same time).
So does John ever show up in anyone else's dreams or do I need a psychiatrist?

I've dreamt of John a few times also....as a matter of fact, before I had the opportunity to sit for John..I kept having reoccurring dreams of him and his mother.
I would always be at a seminar...just waiting to get at least of glimpse of John...and when the seminar was over...John and his mom would be walking through the crowd and his mom would always come over to me and say..."Don't worry, you'll get to meet my son".
I'd have that same dream at least twice a week...then CO called and said I had a one on one reading with John. How weird is that??
So, no...your not crazy or weird....lol. Who knows...maybe your going to have the opportunity to meet either John or Sylvia! Let me know what happens, ok?

WOW!!!! Excellent dream!!!!!! How lucky you are to have seen for yourself HOW THINGS REALLY ARE!!!!!
I know what you mean about how weird it feels when something like that happens to you. You want to run around and tell people but sometimes when you say things like that out loud you worry about yourself.
Don't worry, if you're crazy and ready to be locked up, so am I and many, many others.!!!!!!!!
It may take you a while to thoroughly absorb what you have experienced but it's probably the beginning of a whole new world for you.
Thanks to people like J E and the other lady (Sorry I don't know who she is, is she in the U.S.? pardon my ignorance) they have helped you to open the doors to a wider world.
Our dream teachers give us experiences that they hope we will accept and understand.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Your dream was a wonderful gift! You are among friends, here!
p.
As webmaster for JohnEdwardFriends.org, I receive at least one "I had a dream about John Edward..." email a week. It's a very common occurance. John is so charismatic, and has opened us up spiritually, that it's no surprise that he's showing up in many people's dreams.
You're not crazy :)

I always think that if people from the other side can visit us in our dreams why can't people from this side?
assuming this is right, that then brings up another question - why would john and Sylvia choose you to visit? Who knows. Maybe your grandmother was so desperate to get through to you and she needed to use them to do so.
I hope that this makes sense to you.
love and kisses

I will admit to having a dream or two with JE as a teacher type in them. I do feel that our dreams are one way that "the other side" can contact us and help keep us aware of them being around.
One of the most amazing dreams was when Sylvia Browne showed up in a dream and told me that John was more talented (hee hee ) and that if I put these special glasses on I could see the Other Side. So I did and I saw the Other Side super-imposed over our own world in these beautiful colors and all these pulsating lights that were spirits hanging around people on this side infusing them with love and guiding them (I could see the Other side and this world at the same time).
Wow, what could be better than that?
Keep on dreaming and join the rest of us here to share those insights from the other world(s).
Love, light, and peace,

I had a dream with JE in it about a week or so before the Atlantic City seminar in Dec.. In the dream, we were in an audience somewhere (though I think it was the Crossing Over set and not a seminar) and JE came over and did a reading on us. The next morning when I woke up I thought "what a nice dream". I didn't share it on here because I really thought I'd only had the dream due to my huge hopes we would be read at the seminar (just "wishful dreaming"). Well, we went to the Atlantic City seminar, and the incredible happened -- we got our reading.
Things that make you go "hmmmm".

As a matter of fact, I had a dream last night that John was putting on a seminar in a town close to me -- Gettysburg, PA. I was telling my girlfriend, we've got to go to this. How much closer can it get! I think my dream was more out of frustration from getting through on the phone but not getting a call to the gallery.

I remember reading somewhere on this forum that someone at a seminar asked John what it meant when people dream about him. He answered [my paraphrase, I don't remember the exact words] that your crossed over relatives might put an image of him in your dream to signal a message from them on the Other Side. Especially if your grandmother appeared in the same dream that could be the case.
(I dream about him all the time -- I imagine that if it were really him sending messages, he would never get any sleep at all!)

LOL at the last paragraph! :p
So I'm not so weird after all!
I often have dreams about those who've passed, but for the last 7 yrs, I've never had a dream about my DD, who's still here!
I often have things happen about the things I've dreampt about the night before though, like almost losing a cross of mine, down the kitchen sink in a dream on Friday night, then forgetting John's book in one of the labs on Saturday, now how weird is that??

I'm so glad I'm not crazy!!! :D It's crazy how many people dream about him. I wonder if he realizes how busy he is at night
I've had some really amazing dreams where he has been a preface.
Once I dreamed that I was hiking and found a hundred dollars. The next day I went hiking with my husband and son and I found a hundred dollar bill on the path! Now if only I could dream about lottery numbers :stick:

>>I liked what Ann said about our crossed loved ones giving us an image of John in our dreams. I personally don't believe that people like John or Sylvia would go psychically (sp?) visiting that many people. If that were the case, I think we would have read about in their books by now. <<
Thanks, but I didn't say it, I just read somewhere that John said it. :) It makes sense that those of us who are watching him every night would dream about him, especially in relation to an ADC dream.
I doubt very much that anyone, even a gifted psychic, would "visit" anyone in dreams to whom they don't have some sort of close connection, through family or friendship.

Since we saw John in Milwaukee last summer, I have dreams about him all the time. It's my turn to be weird I guess, but he usually dies in my dreams. I have had maybe 10 dreams about him and he has probably died in about 7 or 8 of them. I usually interpret it as dying, but it's more like he just kinds of fades away or disingrates. I don't think they are prophetic in anyway, but really strange none the less.
The last one I had he didn't die in, but JE, some other person and I were on this beach hanging out in our bathing suits in the water taking in the atmosphere of this beautiful place and talking about spiritual topics. I guess I have gotten so used to the JE dreams that the thing that stuck out about the dream was not hanging out with JE on the beach, but that I was with a pretty cute guy and wasn't self-conscience in my bathing suit! LOL!
Psychologically, it is said that every character in our dream, is really a representation of an aspect of ourselves. If that's true, then if you dream about John, it's really about the aspect of yourself that is like John, or what he represents to yourself.
Maybe your spiritual side, or your psychic side.

I totally agree with you there, Pam, I think (from my studies) the Jung (Carl Jung) was the dream interpreter, and Freud was the ID, ego, and super ego guy, and somehow, it melded in together! I think I'll be doing some bedtime reading with John's book tonight! :)
RE::: I personally don't believe that people like John or Sylvia would go psychically visiting that many people. If that were the case, I think we would have read about in their books by now.
Not only that, but you folks who are dreaming that John is visiting you, well..... John gets $300 per visit, and Sylvia about the same. So....you ought to be sending them a check. They don't do this stuff for nothing, you know.

Does this mean I have to sleep with my Visa card under my pillow?
Geez, and they used to say "It don't cost nothing to dream"!

Two nights ago I dreampt of meeting up with an on-line friend of mine, whom I met IRL in Oct. 2000. Forgot to email her yesterday, but trust she is ok.
Last night, I DID dream about John, and I was too zoned out from studying to read last night, so maybe the on-line discussion sparked the dream....Hmmmm....I'll have to research that, and get back to you with my findings!!!:reader:

I dreamt of JE once that I know of. It too was a seminar setting. Once he made the connection to me, I found him sitting in the audience with my mom. They were deep in conversation. I still wish I knew what they were saying.
So I only owe $45. I did not get a private reading in my dream. I was at a seminar.

Just send it to me, and I will see that it gets to John.

Of course reading about all these dreams of John led me to dream of him last nite.
Not of him specifically, but I was at this seminar.....
I finally got a good seat in the 3rd row!
But I had to go to the bathroom, so this security guard led me upstairs and through these air ducts in the ceiling to get to this bathroom (what a venue, huh?)
I could hear everyone clapping, and I knew I was missing the seminar.
I just KNEW John was going to read me this time, but I got stuck in the air ducts on my way back to the auditorium!
LOL, I woke up and was caught up in my blankets (thanks to the dog between Marc and I) and had to go to the bathroom.
I had to laugh and think of you guys......
Geez, I can't even get a reading in my dreams!

Well Anne, thanks for proving my hypothesis!;)
Apparently, if you read these boards all day, chances are, you'll dream of John, or have John in your dream! :p
Ahhh, the psychic gift of fellow posters!!:D

Bob, Riley is dreaming that the check is in the mail. ;) ;)
After reading all of the posts, I finally did have a John Edward dream. I remember it was a long and pleasant dream but don't remember details and it wasn't "vivid". Guess it wasn't a "true" visit.:(
