I took this picture just a few minutes ago in the back yard. You can see them on the webcam too if you visit my "secret garden"...

Hope you find these views as relaxing as I do - snow's been coming down in big flakes all day long.......

Flora,

I have visited your site, and I would love to be surrounded by the beauty you must see everyday.
We too are out amongst nature, but not enough trees for my liking (not complaining, just would like more trees :)
We are surrounded by 400 acres of farmland (not ours). But I love being without close neighbors, and being able to see the sun rise and set (no houses to block the view).
You are fortunate, Flora.
Thanks for sharing the pics......

Anne

Thanks for the beautiful picture Flora. Just this morning I looked at the frost on my green front lawn and thought how much it looked like snow. Uh...maybe not ;)

I'll look forward to seeing Spring time in Island Pond!

Flora

Thanks so much for posting your picture.

This is something we don't see in Australia because of our hot climate - even in winter it only snows mainly in Victoria and some parts of New South Wales but not in Queensland where I live - too close to the tropics.

Again thank you - it is beautiful.

Where would we be without digital cameras.

Take Care
TRICIAB;)

I'm always glad to share the natural beauty surrounding me here. There were actually three deer out there, I noticed another one after I took this picture. We have over two feet of snow on the ground. Sometimes it seems like there's weeks where it doesn't stop snowing at all.

Annie, I've lived in the woods so long now and enjoy the solitude so much I don't think I'll ever be able to live anywhere that isn't as serene. I've found the best neighbors to be the furry type.

The internet and digital cameras are great inventions and these days I don't know where I'd be without either. However I think if either would have been available to me while I was in high school I would have been very distracted from my studies and never have taken the many paths that have brought me to where I am today.

Thanks for the comments, have a great day!
