Dr. Gary Schwartz, together with a writer friend, Bill Simon, have put together a 374 page, hardcover account of the University of Arziona experiments which involved John Edward and 4 other mediums. This is the first time the behind the scenes details of how the experiments came about, how they were conducted as well as transcript material from the readings has been published. As an added bonus the book contains an appendix with verbatim copies of the published studies from the Jour of the Society for Psychial Research (London). The book also has a forward by Deepak Chopra, M.D. and is indexed as well.

For those of you who have tried to ply your way through the scientific studies, this is now an essential companion, not only because it explains in plain English the results of the experiments and protocols used but because it contains important historical facts concerning these landmark studies.

Although scientists have been studying mediumship for nearly a hundred years, this is the first major lab based study of this field
in the U.S.

The name of the book is: The Afterlife Experiments-Breakthrough Scientific Evidence of Life After Death by Gary E. Schwartz with William Simon. list 25.00

It is available at Amazon.com and no doubt elesewhere at a fairly good discount.

Steve, I hope you get a chance to read the book. It is excellent. I would love to sit down with Dr. Schwartz and listen to his account of the experiments. I feel like it must have been a life changing event for him and those that worked with him.

I am glad they did this and I look forward to the next experiment.

Actually I read it a few weeks ago! Its officially not being launched until next week but I checked on Amazon and they have it already.

Its a must read for anyone interested in the Arizona experiments which included John, of course. It is very rewarding to read of the events that occurred during these readings and the extraordinary validations which were recorded including those at Miraval and the Canyon Ranch phases where there was no visual or verbal feedback for a portion of the reading.

The quiet time information getting segment I felt were excellent. The numbers do speak for themselves for the scientific part of the equation but the wonderful ability of each of the mediums rings true so many times that I would say that even the stiffest of people would have to relax a little...

I loved the questions the "Friendly Devil's Advocate Team" asked. They did a really good job of making everyone think - that is always good.

I got my book through Border's. It was on the shelf just waiting for me...
