I found this on an AOL message board --it's kinda silly I guess depending on your answer! have fun with it
Carry out this test. Just follow the instructions as quickly as possible.
Answer one question before going on to the next. You do not need to
write the answers, just do it in your head. You'll be overwhelmed by the
How much is :
I know! Calculations are hard work but this is the real thing folks!
Come on, a few more...

If this is Not the case you are among 2% of the people who have a
"different" mind. 98% of folks answer a
"red hammer" while doing this exercise.
I did! kinda freaked me out!
03-15-2002, 03:44 AM
I did not finish the calculations but when asked thought of a hammer and the colour pink.
uh oh! me=yellow screwdriver :)
03-15-2002, 06:44 AM
I thought of a red hammer, too.
03-15-2002, 08:17 AM
my thought was of a blue hammer....mary:confused:
03-15-2002, 08:47 AM
Purple crowbar...hahahaha....always knew I was a bit different.
03-15-2002, 09:27 AM
Red hammer - 'bout fell off my chair!!!
03-15-2002, 09:31 AM
Too wild!!! I'm with triciab - got a pink hammer!!!:laff:
03-15-2002, 09:55 AM
I actually thought hammer-red! Does that make me backward or something?
03-15-2002, 12:29 PM
LOL:D I just thought it was really weird when I got to the bottom and it said red hammer...who knows probably just some crazy coincidence :) maybe we can get get John to do it and see what he gets! LOL--just kidding
03-15-2002, 09:37 PM
Just got my husband to do the test and guess what
Hammer and Red.
03-16-2002, 02:41 AM
No problem with the calculations. I saw a large red wrentch.
What does it all mean? I'm confused.
Julie, "a large red wrench"?? Hmm...
A blue hammer for me!
03-16-2002, 02:05 PM
LOL!! Fun! I got a red hammer, then changed it to blue. My guy got a red hammer too when he tried it! Julie, don't feel bad, I also flashed on a wrench for a sec! :D
03-16-2002, 04:05 PM
It was interesting - and fun. However I am unclear about what it means. Are those of us that did not see a red hammer less
psychic? What is the origin of the test?
12-06-2002, 10:20 PM
I wonder too.... especially since I got an axe ~ BLUE!!!! Hubby got a BLUE wrench, & son got a BLUE drill!
12-07-2002, 01:17 PM
I was too lazy to do all the math calculations an cheated. So I knew it was a red hammer. I can be so darn impatient sometimes. lol:D Does this mean I am a lazy psychic?:D
12-07-2002, 06:38 PM
I thought of a red wrench, too....interesting.
12-08-2002, 01:03 PM
I didn't finish the math, but thought of a blue screwdriver. Is this 2% a good thing or bad? LOL!!
12-08-2002, 03:35 PM
I got yellow hammer?! hmmm.....
12-08-2002, 06:49 PM
My answer was hammer-blue.
I wonder what that means?
12-11-2002, 09:34 PM
I got a red hammer too
01-22-2003, 08:58 PM
I'm in the 98% but my question is...
does anyone know any website with other little tricks like this?
01-22-2003, 10:52 PM
I thought wrench red. Does this make me "somewhat different?" ROFL!
01-22-2003, 11:20 PM
Not quite sure what to make of this.... as I noted earlier, I got a BLUE AX..... I haven't noticed anyone else getting axes. I don't believe I was Paul Bunyon or Lizzie Borden in a past life, tho!!!
Hubby got a BLUE wrench, & son got a BLUE drill! At least we're consistent with the Blues!!!:lwink:
01-23-2003, 07:54 AM
I'm with some of the others and got " Blue Hammer "....
Now is the 2% good or mean I am just different ???
Alot of fun..Thanks !
Ok folks...just checking - you do know that it's not really a test of pychic ability, right? Just have to make sure :)
If you want a real psychic test, prepared by a leader in the field of psychic research, go here:
Here's a link to some other online tests:
(I don't know how serious or how good any of these other tests are, I am familiar with Dean Radin, author of the first site though.)
01-23-2003, 09:41 AM
^^ I knew you were going to say that! ;)
01-23-2003, 09:37 PM
I went to the psychic site to see if I had any abilities and failed miserably.:(
Not one to give up though, I have had some psychic experiences in the past. Maybe I was trying too hard.
Very interesting though.

we did a simuler test when I was young but had to name a vegtable. The interesting thing is that after doing math the brain kicked into higher gear and names a unique vegtable. I forgot what the veg. was now but most people names the same one. I do love that there are different mind types that are more disposed to experiencing the psychic. I love it even more to think that with training more people can start experiencing it to.
Much love Kathryn

:lwink: I first thought of red color then changed it to bluegreen hammer, should of stuck to my first thought, huh? great test, loved it!
02-26-2003, 03:55 PM
ok so originally had Green screwdriver then changed my mind to......wait for it...................
RED HAMMER !!
02-26-2003, 09:48 PM
I'm with Pam on this one. I got a yellow screw
02-26-2003, 09:53 PM
Hey Pam
I went to one of the sites you recommended and I ended up in the top 50 on one of the tests - #29. Not bad huh? I will probably go back and do some more of the tests. It was fun. Thanks for the information.
03-27-2003, 04:32 PM
I was just reading through this test and I was very surprised at first when, I too thought instantly of a red hammer. Then some logic popped into my head. Red is the color of anger right (auras and such) and a hammer is a symbol of banging away at something when you are angry. Well, I don't know about you all, but I started getting pretty annoyed at all those calculations so of course I was seeing RED! Just thought I would add my perspective to it. I'm going to try the "real" psychic test that Pam recommended now - if my kids will only watch "toy story" for another 5 minutes.....
03-27-2003, 06:29 PM
I got silver screwdriver. I'm really off key here. :lwink:
03-27-2003, 06:55 PM
Fun Pam. Thanks:D
03-28-2003, 09:25 AM
Red Hammer...go figure! :goofy:
04-26-2003, 06:00 PM
Traci, I'm with you. I also thought of a silver screwdriver. Good to know we think 'outside the box.'
04-26-2003, 08:14 PM
I got a red Hammer! Weird.
My hubby got a blue hammer!
I went to one of the sites Pam mentioned and didn't do well - but Duh- I've had a migraine for the last 24 hours and just getting on the back side of it! DOH - I hate when that happens!
05-26-2003, 03:34 PM
I had first thought red hammer and somehow the Soviet flag popped into my mind. So, I guess it's a yellow hammer and sickle on a red background. Yes, I'm odd.
05-26-2003, 03:54 PM
:D thanks for bring this thread up, its really funny and i havent read it!! but i failed; i got orange shovel... am going to try the sites Pam offered. :jumper: and i hope i do better!!:o
05-26-2003, 07:19 PM
Oh brother, I had a green wrench:( How bad is that? Should I be any more worried about my psychic state than I already am?;)
07-01-2003, 06:37 PM
I said blue pliers...I always knew I was a little off :lwink:
07-02-2003, 06:01 AM
Was my first thought. Then thought...oh, they want it to be soo obvious. I'm going to change that to red and white screwdriver! So both times I went against the grain...or outside the box, so to speak. This is the story of my life though. I am always the one you see in a crowd, going the other way. I was a middle child, and always have to be different! :goofy:
Thanks for the test
07-02-2003, 06:38 AM
AHA! So THATS the reason I think outside the box? I'm a middle child (albiet old one at this point) & always look at things from other angles.
07-02-2003, 10:58 AM
I along with 2 others thought blue wrench. Always was on the outside looking in. :lwink:
07-02-2003, 12:22 PM
Now, don't think of it like that..... perhaps everyone elseis on the outside, looking into our little world! And jealous that we get to see the best of the best!!!! :lwink:
