Ditto Pam, but with a graduation, trip to Boston and a wedding coming up in the next few months...

I can't afford this :(

I also really hope someone on here attends and reports back to us. It sounds like it would be a fascinating workshop. It's probably geared towards people who are already more advanced in mediumship than the average person.

Maybe I will luck out and there will still be a seat left by then...
YA RIGHT!

Good wishes and extra strong thoughts for you.

I was wondering how many participants there would be also. I gave it some serious thought, but it just seems a little out of reach. It sounds like a fabulous opportunity, can't wait to hear the experience of anyone who gets there. good luck!

I would love to go, too, but I don't think I'm ready. Anybody have any idea what is covered in a workshop like this? Wish we could get our paws on an agenda for the day. Any possibility of that?

I agree, I would love to go ......but it is not possible at this time :(
It will be great to get the feedback about this one. I just got the six pack of tapes at the Miami seminar and am working thru them. I too feel that maybe the time isn't quite right yet ... and the extra money sure isn't there.,,,,,,,.It is interesting that the workshop is on my daughters birthday (ktrus)....and , alas, she won't be getting a gift of a ticket to this one from me. Wish we both could go. Maybe next year......sorry Krista

I had just awaken. The tele-charge numbers were so busy. But I got a ticket :jumper: I AM SO EXCITED. Must have pressed the redial about a dozen times and dialed the number about three. I will give a synopsis of what the workshop was about and also see if I can get an agenda from his office. If anyone has any developmental questions they would like for me to present to Mr. Brown or Mr. Edward, let me know. If there is not a lot of people then I would be happy to accomodate. I don't know how many people will be there but may call the office to find out more. JUST SO EXCITED!!!!!!:D

OH MAN! What I wouldn't give to be able to go to this one as I live about 40 minutes from Huntington in NY and have been trying to develop my own abilities. But there is know way I can afford that cost. :-( It has been very tough trying to get a job here in New York City since 9/11. But as all of us, I am glad John has been getting a lot of publicity and happy for him and all of the people he can reach.

So I couldn't STOP thinking about this workshop. I couldn't NOT think about it. I finally stopped saying to myself, "there's no way I can go," and started thinking, "I guess I could go..." Then in the car today, I pick up my cellular to call my husband with the thought, "I'll talk to him and just tell him I really really really want to go..." As he was answering I looked at the car in front of me, their license plate, it read, "THEOS." With a frame that said, "God is Awesome!" (PS - one of my guides has introduced himself as THEO - which means God.)

oh yeah. I'm goin'. Got my ticket ordered within an hour.:jumper:

How early will everyone be getting there? The doors open at 9. I know for his regular seminars, I've been there several hours before, like the seminar would start at 2,and my husband and I would be there around 6:30. Tee hee...
I hate to throw a wrench in your cute idea of tee shirts......but if you are serious about the tee shirts I feel I should express my feelings on it.

Considering the subject matter of death and dying and the fact that we are guests here in Pam virtual home......you should ask her if it is appropiate.
I feel it is not. IMHO It is way to fan clubish to wearing matching tee shirts...
I mean do you see JE selling "JE" tee shirts?

How about matching buttons?

If you are to include anything about this site or being a part of it ...you should get Pam's Approval....in my opinion.
I hope you dont mind me being frank about this...Friends.

I feel the Idea of the Workshop is not to draw attention to our Physcial self....but our inner self.

I know Pam steps away from any Kudos about the hard work she does here....You'd have to twist her arm to be recognized for her hard work.....Please consider her feelings in this if you are to include this site.

OK you can stop calling me a fuddy duddu now

Please realize I send this message as any friend would :)

with warmest regard

Angelina,
I'm poking my nose in this thread but I think maybe you misunderstood the t-shirt reference. On the JEF.org home page that you can access at the bottom of this page, there is a link to the shirt designs that were created by members of this board. People make them and wear them to the seminars as a way to find each other. I think that's what previous posters were referring to when they mentioned JE t-shirts.

OK, I'll butt out now........

BBsBliss
03-30-2002, 07:50 AM
I was thinkinging of the JE Friends t-shirts, but it's no biggie. I'll just cover myself in pink rose pins instead!! :lwink: I don't care if I show up in rags, you know? I'm just sooo excited!

I was personally emailed by someone here (for privacy issues it will remain nameless) that they have a friend who has a print screen shop and was going to consider printing up shirts for the workshop.

Before they went to the trouble...I just wanted to voice my concern and opinion.

I feel the thought is wonderful......but just not appropiate for me:)

I am to very excited and certainly do not want my personal opinions to damper or hinder the chance to meet friends from this board:)

HUGS!
Angelina

Pam
03-30-2002, 03:07 PM
I understand the concern, and I appreciate the concern about my feelings as well.

I see the shirts as showing support for John's work, but some do view them as too "fan-ish". It's sad that they don't understand the original intent was to show solidarity as a "believing and supporting" public, and simply way to find each other in a crowd of thousands.

However, I think the workshop has a different focus than the seminars do, and you're not going there to make a statement about your beliefs, and there are other more subtle ways of finding each other in a crowd of under 500. Your beliefs and support of John are implied by your attendance at the workshop. I realize it's only a subtle difference, but I feel it's an important one.

On the other hand, why should we care what we wear on the outside, when it's what we wear on the inside that's most important? :) As a matter of personal choice, I wouldn't go out of my way to wear the special shirts, for that reason.

BBsBliss

how 'bout togas?

marcia
04-02-2002, 08:05 AM
No Tshirt for me either guys.............I think we'll be able to find each other if we just meet in front somewhere. I had thought about having a friend of mine print some paddle fans with either pooh or a rose or something on it.........but I agree that in a crowd that size.........we should be able to handle this. I have a butterfly pin I will probably wear.........it's big enough to be noticeable and hopefully I won't go off and forget it. We can exchange general physcial descriptions via email, say we'll meet out front.............and we'll all have the look of someone searching for another person. How does that sound?????

rebekah
04-02-2002, 10:12 AM
How about if you print one of the T-shirts fronts on to a piece of paper and tape it to a tree or something with an agreement to meet by it.

Gail
04-02-2002, 10:42 AM
If only one of you wears somthing easy to recognize, such as a bright color, and describes it to the others, you would all only have to find the one person to get together. A designated person could also call the place where the workshop is being held to find where a good place is to meet. I waited in the hotel lobby at the Orlando seminar and that worked until the hotel put a sign on the door for seminar people not to come in. That's when we got in line and other members recognized the red folder I had told them about.

To those of you that will be attending this workshop:

I went out to the Robert Brown site and have been reading a chat he did in February about mediums. It is excellent. Please take some time to go read this. You will discover a MOST wonderful teacher. John sure knows how to pick them. This man is a wonderful gift. Each of you will be deeply touched by this experience.

[Moderator's - I would like to have the url below as a connection but am not sure exactly how to do it - can you please help? - Thanks]

Look through the entire site to get a good idea of what Rev. Brown is all about then spend some time reading the Feb. chat. Absolutely wonderful.

Hi thanks for the link- Robert Brown is one of the mediums who was with John for the Barbados retreat in May 2000. If you go on Robert Brown's website and click on contents then look at the pictures on page 16, there is a picture of everyone at that retreat and John is in it. Doesn't metnion his name but John talks about the retreat in his book Crossing Over. I so want to attend this workshop. Robert Brown is doing a cruise next week, wouldn't it be great if John did a week long cruise. That would be too cool!!!

I just received the six-tape set in the mail last Thursday and listened to all six tapes so that I can get an idea of what to expect. JE talks about a workshop in one of the tapes so I can just guess that everyone that attends will come away with a whole new concept of what their life is all about.

Enjoy and be enlightened.
