John came off the stage and right up to us at the Dec. Altantic City seminar. Has he come off the stage for any since? If not he was probably chewed out by security for that one and told not to do it again. There were nice wide aisles in the Orlando one but he stayed up there on the platform. I also have noticed in the newer Crossing Over shows that he doesn't run up into the Gallery seats the way he would often do in the old shows.

At the workshop he mentioned receiving threats............if I had to venture a guess, maybe that's why he no longer leaves the stage?????????

I can't believe someone would threaten him! The really special people have to be the most careful. Did he seem like they were serious?

At the Las Vegas show in January 2002 he came off the stage once. I don't remember the specific circumstances -- probably to remind someone "yes, you do have an Uncle George!!" :)

I don't want to overstep my bounds or make a mistake in relaying anything of what he said, but I do believe it began after Rosie trounced him so badly on her show.

 EEERRRRR!!!!! That is what made me sooo MAD at her (Rosie). If she doesn't believe John Edward is hearing dead people...fine...to each his own. However, what she said went so far beyond "I don't believe this guy." Her comments were totally irresponsible and menacing. It's sad to know her thoughtless words have had an effect on JE's security.

Last year in SF he was all over the room. It was really fun to see him right in front of the people being read. I wonder how it will be this year? The Masonic Center is a good venue because you can see the stage from almost every seat and it's not too big, even with a balcony. But it is still unsettling to think that these kinds of precautions have to be taken now. Imagine how John feels every time he steps onto a stage, not really knowing who's out there. :(

At least "the boys" are there to guide him.

He mentioned this and I made the assumption that's why I had been hearing he no longer left the stage.........seems to have happened around the same time. I never actually heard any of what Rosie said on her show.........what exactly were her comments? Was she attempting humor or was she serious?

He did leave the stage twice on Wednesday. Once in the section next to mine for several people being read in the same row.

I am so happy to hear that..............I would hate to see that eliminated from his readings.

Right. They do tell him when not to show up somewhere. Does anyone have exactly what she said?

It doesn't matter what she said - it was negative and repeating what she said here on this board, does not serve the purpose of this board, i.e. to support the message of John's work. I heard what she said, and she did NOT encourage anyone else to do/act/think anything.

That's so disappointing to hear. :( When I saw him in N.O. last year, he was all over the place. I would think getting "up close" would help him pinpoint who his message is for a little better too when there's a big crowd. In that case, I hope I don't forget my glasses!

Was the last time JE was in New Orleans back in November of 2000? If so, then yes, it was at the Pontchartrain Center, which had chairs on the floor, then some stadium-type seating behind that.

That seminar had well over 2000 attendees. I think I heard afterwards that it was nearly 2800.

I was at the Dec. seminar in Atlantic City. I don't remember John coming down into the audience. I do remember that after he said his "good bye" on stage, he exited through the curtain. Did I blink my eyes and miss something?

John didn't leave the stage in San Francisco on May 16th, 2002. I did notice a couple big security guys that didn't leave their posts during the seminar.

I did notice on a recently taped show (not sure of the date) that was done in Salt Lake City, i think, where he did walk throughout the seminar...

I was only a few feet from him in SF, but I think it would have been cool to see him jump out into the audience, but not at the risk of his safety...

*** this is my first post, i hope it worked right :) ***

If you mean the most recent Dec. seminar in Atlantic City (Dec. 2001), then yes, he did come off the stage. He was standing just a few feet from us when he did our reading. It was pretty awesome. The energy just bounds out of him.

There, there (pat, pat) Peg,

You can't be expected to remember everything, when everything is so dog gone exciting. You probably remember the really good parts. I remember how funny he can be on that stage...especially when he tries to be diplomatic and not embarrass someone too badly. You laugh all the harder. Am totally confused how some people can walk away still shaking their heads and say he's a fake.

Next time!!

Hey, I'm probably gonna ruffle some feathers, but read my whole post reply....

When I saw John last week in SF, i came up with two conclusisions: 1) that he/the seminar was the biggest faked psychic medium scam of all time (that i had ever witnessed), or 2) that it was a truely genuine medium-audience interaction.

When John asks the audience who is skeptical and who isn't (and the ones in between) he always seems to tell them that there shoudln't be anyone in the room that doesn't have at least a little bit of skepticism.

However... let me unruffle any feathers that might be bunched. I do believe John and his interaction is genuine... I believed it BEFORE I saw him in person, I believe it the same now that i've seen him. I know because the same things that happen to John, happen to me... maybe not in the same quality or quantity, but nonetheless, i can say that the things that happen to me are not fake or ...uhm... not manufactured by me in some way.

I actually went, not to see John specifically, to see the audience interaction with him. It was my chance to see a real-time medium interacting with persons in that environment, so it was more of a learning seminar for me, rather than waiting for someone to come through. For those of you who haven't been, it was just like sitting in the gallery on TV, i think.

You Know the only thing that i didn't like (hehehe) about the seminar... there wasn't any Crossing Over theme music... each time that John goes to a commercial on tv, you hear this "crossing over" music and clapping from the audience togehter... and each time that John finished reading someone, and people were clapping, i was expecting to hear that crossing over music as they went to a commercial. <grin> did anyone else feel that way? :) it was just weird not hearing it :)

TXJUDE,

Thanks, i hope that is a good comment :) uhm... i have a lot of unique perspectives, but nothing that would be outside of what we all believe as a "core" belief...

I think it is true that we have to find how/where we fit in this area of psychic abilities. I think this is still on-topic, but I went to see how John interacted with the people... I know that my abilities are with individuals, but I also learned from John's seminar.

I don't think anyone can come away from a seminar without something to really digest and incorporate it into their everyday life. (Awareness, knowing what to look for) Even skeptics. They hear it, so it is there, wandering around in their heads. Probably giving them fits. Just like a doubt lingers. You can squash it, but it is always there bugging the daylights out of you.

As far as JE interacting with people, he does it with much care and gentleness. Even the times he gets irritated with people, it still comes across that he is aware of their feelings, but he needs to get his message across. "Heads up folks and listen up, this is your loved one talking not mine."

Everyone has a perspective and has a right to present it...and in the long run they may not really be so very different. We just want to be different and unique.

LOL :D

By "unique perspective" I mean that I don't often hear people say that they attended a seminar to watch the interaction between the medium and the attendees, and were not really waiting for anyone to come through.

It's always a learning experience, of course. No matter how many seminars you attend, it seems like you always walk away with something new.

You know what else is "unique" 2 things:

1) had the whole row up front with me empty... so i asked my guides to sit with me , and

2) I told the people that i stood with before the show and the people behind me while we were waiting, that if John was to read me, I would have asked him to move on to someone else :)

Why? becasue my relatives come through enough... and I wanted to give my time to someone who would have had a greater need than my relatives which I know are well and safe and loving on the other side

Aren't I a nice guy?

:jumper: WHEW!! For a while there, I thouht I was suffering from early dementia. ( Not remembering that John came down into the audience in AC.) Now I realize that Philsgirl and Daughtie must have been there on Friday night, I was there on Saturday. I checked with the people I was with and they too said he didn't come down into the audience. Next time I will try to get tickets for the first show. :lwink:

Yes, we were there Friday night - I totally forgot that there was a second seminar on Saturday -- we stayed around to meet a few people going to the Sat. one, but didn't actually attend the 2nd seminar.

Sorry to hear you didn't get a chance to see him off the stage!
