Scientific testing of JE

Does anybody believe that John Edward's claims to speak to the dead should be scientifically tested or are his claims untestable?

John Edward has indeed participated in several studies of mediumship conducted by Dr. Gary Schwartz, of the University of Arizona.

This is an uneducated answer..............

But I do believe in JE's ability and gift.

No I don't believe i am "reaching" - I have always had a belief in life after death.

JE has just confirmed what I already believed - he just made it more accessible with respect to the english language.

I have watched many episodes of Crossing Over and have identified with several readings.

But no matter what the skeptics/non-believers think - I am my own person and I have my own beliefs - and in the words of Helen Reddy - "I am woman hear me ROAR - I am not good to ignore"..

Have you attended at JE seminar/worshop? - in otherwords have you ever seen "the man in action".

I will tell you that several Australian's on this "board" are believers/followers/spiritualists who have discovered JE quite by accident and have found him to be very "true blue" (for our "US" friends - "true Blue" - means 100% - hope you understand this meaning - if not - I will be happy to explain the meaning of "trune blue" in another post - trust me - frosty and black sparrow will agree with me on this).

First off, welcome to the board. I hope that you will travel through the various threads and become familiar with them.

The claims JE makes are substantiated in his book, One Last Time. If you take the time to read it you will understand that some people are afforded an ability to receive information from those that have crossed over from this plane to another plane.

I understand what he is talking about when he says he talks to the dead.

Being testable - how does one decide how that fits into your own realm of understanding? If talking to people that have been read by John would help then there are many on this board that have been read. You can find their testimonials and see for yourself.

Scientific proof has taken place at the University of Arizona. All we need is understand that it is possible and we are good to go.
