Violet Flame

I hope it's OK to put this in here. Has anyone here done the Violet Flame chants? A friend of mine recommended them and I tried it last night, and as soon as I started, I felt a rush of energy, like electricity, and my skin started to tingle and I got light-headed. It was amazing. He said he always does it when he needs clarity in his life, or when he has too much mind clutter to think straight, and it has had immediate effects on him. I haven't noticed a change that way today, but strange things started happening this morning - I was cleaning up my living room, and my guitar, which had been leaning against a cabinet in one solid position all night, suddenly fell over. I was close enough to catch it, but it was very strange. Then, this morning at work, I walked by a phone in one of our lobbies, that is only used to call in to someone inside, rang once as I walked by it. I don't know what any of it means, but my friend said it is not unusual for strange things to happen when you first start it. None of it was scary, it was just something that made me pay attention.

Has anyone else had such experiences?

Interesting. I've never heard of the Violet Flame chants, where would I find information? All take all the clarity I can get!:D

It has self-protection chants you do first, as well as an invitation to the spirits/guides to come to you (I'm still learning all of this).

It is easy to do, and I was amazed to feel the effects immediately. I do feel light-headed, and a little nauseous and headachey today, but I've asked the people I know who've done this for a while and it's a normal reaction, although some people don't react that way at all. It's not too bad, though. I've been able to go about my day normally.

Here is the chant on the card:

They suggest saying it three times, increasing the speed each time.

My friend's mother has been doing this for years, and recommends it highly. And he said the weird things happening around you after you do it are normal. Nothing else has happened to me since the phone ringing this morning, although I did feel the effects of it, just typing it out then.

I would love to hear everyone's experiences with it, if it's OK to keep it going here.

PS. I forgot to mention: once you know the chants by heart, you can say them with your eyes closed, imagining the flame on your forehead, with swirling different colors. I think they describe it better on the website, though.

Sounds like witchcraft or sorcery to me, I'd be careful, dark energies are likely to follow;

Purple and blue are supposed to be the highest healing colors there is. Purple is a spiritual healing color. If you go the website listed above they give several protection prayers to start off with before doing the chant or affirmation. Dark entities flock to light like a moth to a flame which is why it is always a good idea to say a little prayer asking your angels and guides to protect you with the loving light of god. This is a great start to a meditation session and works well to clear your mind before begining your journey into self exploration.
