View Full Version : Meeting John
Oops... In reading some recent posts, I think people are getting the wrong idea. Changing your schedules and setting up tents to wait for John to come out after a seminar is more-often-than-not going to leave you very disappointed and in a very large dark room.
Can you imagine? For him too do so would leave him swamped in no time and of course we know that he's no glory hound. His body guards would have a seizure.
In the Chicago situation, there were some extenuating circumstances, but it's not the norm.
Definatly Don. This was a very unusual situation, and I was asked to stay to speak to Paul Shavelson about a few things, and I think seeing John was a last minute idea.
Don, Bea, Tigger and Cyn were waiting for me, because we had meal plans afterwards.
John usually hitails it out to catch a plane after seminars.

I was one of the JE Friends who left the ballroom too soon, and missed my opportunity to thank John in person! Like I told Pam, sure I'm bummed that I missed him, but I still believe that things happen for a reason! I had no expectations of meeting John that day:shrug: or ever!
I'm not going to make more of this, than it is! I look at it the same way I look at the people who get read by John - those who need to meet John, will!!:lwink:
p:thumbsup:
p.s. Don and Bea: you two together, are as cute as a bug's ear, on a cricket's tail!!! (Don't ask, it's a "hick" thing!!)

 Geeze... now cut that out! You're misrepresenting the facts here. It's all Bea's fault... I have nothing to do with it! Honest!

We're about as cute as two old people can be....Don's right....cut that out! Don't misrepresent us in our rickety old age. We're going to be grandparents for heavens sake.
But thank you anyway (poofs up hair and pats Don on his rosey cheek.)(hehe)
It was wonderful meeting everyone, and we hope to do that many more times.
