Hi everyone,
I've been of fan of John's for quite a few years now. I remember listening to him on a local radio staion here in NY (95.5 WPLJ) in the 90's. I thought to myself, this guy is amazing! I tried calling in whenever John was a guest, but never got through.

Then of course I watched the HBO special about John and watched his new show "Crossing Over". I was completely hooked! I watched it religiously...and was always amazed by John's talent.

Like many others, I wrote in for tickets for the gallery numerous times. Then in the fall of 2000, I get a call from one of the producers asking if I was still interested in tickets. Of course I said yes...but she could'nt guarantee me any tickets...they were just going through some old mail and calling people.

Then we started talking more about John. I told her how much I loved John and how faithfully I watched the show..etc, etc. She then told me she'd put my name on the list for a one on one with John.

Of course I thought I'd never get called in a million years...but in February of this year...I got the call...LOL! Needless to say, I had a one on one with John on that Tuesday! Man, was I thrilled!!

My husband and I went to the studio and the staff were so nice! They all made us feel very comfortable. When it was time to go on the set...I nervously waited for John to appear. And when he did.......boy, he lit up the studio! He came right over to us, gave us a warm greeting made some small talk, then we we're ready to start.

Though this post is long enough..lol..I'll give some brief details of the reading. My Dad came through...describing to John how he had passed. He showed John the analogy to the movie, "The Perfect Storm"...we knew there was a problem, we're monitoring it...then all of a sudden it was like the Perfect Storm...it literally came over him...and took him. That's how my Dad's heart attack was....he knew there was a problem, he tried to take care of it...then one day he had a massive heart attack.

John also said he felt my Dad did'nt fight at the end of his life...he just rode the wave so to speak...he surrendered to it.

Then he had mentioned the person with the impact. A figure to my side. That was my childhood friend Anthony. He was mentioned. Then about a sister of mine still living...I don't have a sister, I mentioned I have a best friend who's like a sister...then John proceeded to tell me how much my Dad considered my friend (Michele) like a 2nd daughter.

There was more...but like I said...this post is long enough...LOL! Thank you all for bearing with me while I share my story :)

After the reading...John was nice enough to autograph my copy of "One Last Time"...and then took a picture with me & my husband...(which of course is framed and displayed..lol)

Meeting and sitting for John has been a dream come true and it's something that I'll never forget.

He was great! He's very friendly and warm and he makes you feel at ease. And I do have to mention that John is better looking in person! What a face he has!!!

Again...thanks for letting me write this novel...lol.

JE Fan Forever,
Francine

Hi,
Yes, John said my Dad was showing him the analogy to the movie "The Perfect Storm"...describing the end of his life...and John hit the nail on the head with that one...lol.

Also...with the impact person...that was my friend Anthony. And my best friend Michele...the skeptic..lol..( an almost ex-skeptic now...she's getting there. I have her watch JE from time to time, and she's starting to think he's amazing...:)

Thanks for letting me share my story :)
