A Skeptic's Howdy

Hey all! If you don't know who I am, you can skip this post, as it will probably be of no interest to you. Suffice it to say that I used to be sort of the "resident skeptic" here on the Friends board.

Back in January, I bowed out (see thread A Skeptic's Farewell (http://www.johnedwardtalk.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3076)), due mostly to the fact that I was going through "a very difficult part of my life".

What only a few of you knew back then was that the primary cause of that "difficult period" was my divorce, from my wife of 23 years. That, combined with stress-related health issues, made me bow out of a number of things, in hopes of simplifying (and reducing tensions in) my life.

The divorce, which had been going on for almost a year at that point, has been final for a while now, and I have been able to start the long process of moving on.

One silver lining to the whole situation has been Susan, a woman I have been seeing very steadily for a few months now.

Within a week or two of meeting Susan, we were driving down the road one day when she pointed and said "hey, there's that guy I like!"

I looked, and found that she was pointing at a picture of John Edward on a "Crossing Over" billboard.

I said something like "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Suffice it to say that she and I have had more than one interesting discussion on the topic!

Anyway, I just wanted to drop in and let those who care know that I'm alive and doing well.

Hello All . . .
I'm Bob's Susan. I wanted to thank you all for the well wishes for our relationship.
What my Robert said is true. We were driving down the street and I saw a sign for the show and remarked about how much I like John Edward. He almost passed out from laughing! When he finally explained it to me, I couldn't keep from grinning.
I am a believer in God, as well. And I truly believe he answered my prayers when Robert came into my life. There were just too many things that have happened with our relationship to be mere 'coincidence,' as Robert prefers to believe.
Well, I'm in the middle of cooking lunch on a very hot and humid day. I best get back to it. Don't quit trying to convince my Robert. I'll try from this end.

I'm new here so I didn't know you before, but after reading all those posts, I can't wait to get the opportunity! And yes, Susan is in your life for a purpose, that's for sure. Congratulations on being able to find some comfort and peace in your life. I certainly hope that your health issues have been worked out as well.
