Hi,
I just checked out JE's website. They added another Westbury Seminar. Sunday afternoon on June 29th. That makes 3 seminars that weekend! Tickets for that seminar go on sale on Monday Feb. 17th at 12:30p.m.
Who's going?
I'll be there on June 27th. :D

I tried to get tickets for the 27th & the 29th but they had sold out. I'll try again on Monday for the afternoon one on the 29th.
I'm also going to see him in Worcester, Mass & perhaps Connecticut if he goes there. Pam

Just received my tickets today for Providence. I am also going to Westbury the 27th and 29th. I saw John last year in Westbury and it is a very nice place. I can hardly wait til May for Rhode Island since I haven't been to a seminar since last June. I am so happy that he added another one for the 29th, he seemd to sell out very quickly. I am so happy for everyone who were able to get tickets, and remember at Westbury all the seats are quite close to the center stage and are assigned which makes it easier.I am counting the days til May 10th. Anyone else going to Providence? It would be fun to meet other perople who post here!

I really don't know exactly how many the Westbury music fair holds however I think it is important to know that no seat is more than 60 feet from the circular stage which means you get a good view of John. Last year although there were so many people, one or two sections were not sold on purpose so that he had no one behind him and it was really great.I must say though that at some points he wasn't facing us however he is moving around so much. I hope this helps you out.

I think Westbury Music Fair holds 2 or 3 thousand people. However, it doesn't seem that big when you go in. I went to John's seminar there last year and it is in a circle. It is in sections from A thru H with rows going from A thru Z . Last year I sat in row O and I could see perfectly. And for some reason one whole section was left empty. I'm not sure why it was empty. This year I am sitting in <ebm>. It really dosen't matter where you sit. I remember John read people way back in row Z.
I can't wait!!:jumper:
To those who are going, maybe I'll see you guys there!
Hopefully someone from here will get a reading.:)

The number of people at these seminars isn't really an issue since John reads people all over the room. I remember seeing John at MSG theater in April of 2001 and he actually was reading a lady in the balconey so therefore if the message is going to come through he will get it to you. When I first attended his seminars I thought that sitting up close really mattered, although you do get to see him better, he reads all over the venue.Of course everyone wants to sit close however don't despair if you are a bit back I assure you that once he gets started you see him very well and it is so quiet you can hear a pin drop. I am counting the days til the seminar. As I said in my previous post, at the Westbury fair you are never more than 60 feet from the circular stage. The parking system is also very good, not much to walk to the theater. Hope to meet some other people who are going, I am going the 27 and 29.

<ebm>= edited by moderator: please don't post seat locations for your security and safety, and if you get read, you'll have no room for doubt!

I got a ticket for the evening of the 29th. I will be going with a guy I work with who is a 100% athiest and ... his mother, sister and brother in law. It should be interesting , I really hope that the person they want to hear from would come through for them. Wouldn't it be an amazing thing to witness the moment when a true non-believer becomes a believer. When someone who believes more in UFOs than the afterlife.
I really hope they get read. It must be such a lonely feeling to feel like you're all on your own.

Hi,
Does anyone know why tickets are not yet being sold for Westbury's Sunday afternoon seminar on June 29th?
On JE's website it says tickets will be available on February 17th at 12:30. When I called ticketmaster I was told there wasn't a seminar listed for that afternoon.
Could it be because of the snowstorm yesterday?
Oh well, I'll keep checking.
Susan
When a large seminar is not being televised, it would still be nice to have those screens on each side of John, showing the people he is reading. If you are sitting anywhere except in the back you can't see the people being read, just hear them. Since it's not being televised, you will never see them. You lose so much of the enjoyment of hearing a reading without seeing the faces of the people, the joy, wonder, surprise, and blank stares they have. :)

So, did you guys get tickets on the 19th? How did it go??

Yes I did!
I called at 12:30. I wanted 4 tickets but the agent told me they only had 3 tickets available. Only two of the seats he had were together, the other one is in a different section. I asked him "How could this be? Tickets just went on sale." His reply was "That is all we have available."
I got the tickets anyway. It dosent matter where we sit as long as we are there.
