My Gallery Reading 2/6/03

Hi,

Well, I went to the show hoping to hear from my Mom who passed 12 years ago this month. Instead a girl that was killed from my hometown 20 years ago came through. I was able to validate almost everything John came out with.

Joe came through first. (He was the girls brother. He had passed away last May in a car accident. He was also my brothers best man in his wedding.) That must be the connection to me. My brother was going to come to the taping but couldn't make it.

Then John brought up 2 girls in a car accident where 1 of them was killed. (At this point in the taping noone was claiming this because he thought he was with the two ladies in front of us and I had no idea yet)

Then he said that the girls name started with MA like Maryann.
(Nothing yet)

Then he asked who the two people are that have the same name.
(I started to think about this girl, how she and her friend were in a car accident and one was killed and her name was Ida Mae (there's the MA) and her mom's name was Ida too!

Then he asked what is with the out of state connection.( They used to live in Florida and that is where she is burried. I live in NY)

Then he asked about a uniform. (I found out that she was a member the the Legion Colorguard and her best friend has a picture of them showing that)

His message ( I think) was that This accident wasnt her fault. He asked if she was driving and I didn't know, so when I got home I asked around and there is some question as to whether she was or wasn't. He said he didn't see her as the driver. The girl that survived says that Ida was driving. I am certainly not going to call her a liar, but stranger things have happened and I may be leaning in John's direction.

I called the girls family and they did not give me permission to use that read on the air so unfortunatlly It won't be on the air.

I figure I recieved the reading for a reason and I let the family know. What they do with the information is up to them. Maybe they will try to accept it because when I called and told them about, they had never seen John Edward and didn't know what crossing over was all about.

This has definetly made me think twice about things. I am truly grateful!

I guess it further proves that when a person is supposed to get the message they will at all cost.

How good of you to deliver the message to her family. Today's show was about being the messanger and you certainly were.

I can kind of understand the parents' reaction. Just imagine you've never heard of John Edward (hard to believe, I know), and you get a call that your daughter spoke through this person from the dead. Not only that, they want to air it on TV. I think my first reaction would be "no thank you." But you may have opened up a whole new world to them. I would certainly bet they'll check out his show now, and the message from their daughter will make more sense.

I'm sorry you didn't hear from you mom. It's disappointing. But you were selected to be the messenger for this girl's family and that's a pretty important job. Good work Colleen!

If I didn't know who JE was, Im afraid my reaction would be the same. Then I would probably regret it because I'd want to see the reading. It sounds like you have good recall of the reaing though. Did you take notes that you can pass along to the family, if they want them?

Hi megray and everyone,

No, I didn't take notes because we were the very first reading. He rubbed his hands together,closed his eyes, took a deep breath and said he was ready to begin.

Then he said... I am coming over here, and pointed right into our direction. My heart was beating 240 and I could feel it beating in my chest.

So I really didn't have time for notes. My sister was with me and helped me remember. I am glad of that. I hope someday that her dad will see the show and realize that there is a message for him from her.

Hi Colly, you can also go to the buttons at the top right of this screen. Click the "search" button, type in List Member Readings and you will see it on your screen anong with other threads. Click it and you'll see the list. It's gotten to be a pretty long list and I hope to add more people very soon.
