Chicago seminar (March 16, 2003)

Hi everyone! I just heard about this site today when i was watching Crossing Over and i am so happy that i found this site!

My mom and I flew to Chicago for the seminar, from Jersey.
There was never any doubt in my mind that spirit communication is possible. John is incredibly gifted, and i am always intrigued by him. I got up very early that morning and was about the 50th person online and waited hours just to enter to the seats. I was very fortunate to find seats in the 6th row in the center. When he came out on stage i was just in total awe. I couldn't believe i was actually there. It was truly amazing. There's just something about his presence that makes you know that he is for real. I could even see his aura which was this incredible white light. It gave me chills. Even though i didnt get read, just sitting there and witnessing him connecting with the audiences loved ones was an unforgettable experience. It was just remarkable! Leaving the seminar i felt so blessed. Its interesting how things work out, because a week later my neighbor and I went to see a medium that had worked with John Edward before, and she had given me a reading. I think i was more prepared getting it from her, even though id do anything for a reading by John! Even the validations she brought through for me was just breath taking.

I will be going to the workshop in NY in november.

Wow, im very happy that ive found a website where spirit communication is appreciated. I'd love to hear from anyone!

From what I understand, there will be quite a few board members going to the workshop in November. Hopefully, we'll all get a chance to meet.

The Chicago seminar was super, as always. There's nothing like watching the reactions as John brings through the messages and validations from the other side.
You're in the company of a lot of wonderful people, here. Relax and read their stories. :)

I was in row 7 in the middle section...I was the one handing out tootsie pops (my trade mark) LOL...

Yes Chicago was my first Seminar...I have always wanted to go but never did. I tried to go last year but tickets were sold out by the time I tried to get one. I only found this site this past December and if it not for reading here I would not have know about the Chicago show this year in time.

Oh there was numerous, let me be nice here and say older people (women) around me seated, so imagine several old women with Tootsie Pops in there mouths..LOL....Most everyone I met was starving and were more than excited to even have a Tootsie Pop...We/They would have been the ones in line 'very' earily and didn't come prepared with snacks..except my bag of Tootsie Pops...

hello!
thats cool chicago was your first JE seminar. ive always wanted to go to any seminar or let alone get tickets for crossing over but every time i try its always busy busy busy! its funny because i found out about the chicago seminar back in january and i just happened to check out john's site since i had nothing else to do. when i saw the new seminar tour i was like OMG! but back then only like 3 seminars were booked and the only closest one was the chicago one since im from new jersey! the minute i saw it i just knew then i would go. it took a lot of persuading my mom because she was like are you crazy! but she loves john too! she was like wait til he's in NY but i knew going to chicago was the way to go! and low and behold we went. im just waiting for him to have more of the John Edward and Friends tour, in like NY or washington DC because his site says they hope to schedule them there. but i did get tix for the workshop in NY because i am very interested in the whole process because after going to a local medium she confirmed what i already knew that i am kinda psychic myself. so im very intrigued by everything!
that was very smart to bring the tootsie pops! i was so hungry from waitin in line since 7am. but my mom went to get me food during the morning. hehe:cuser:

Hello! No, i didnt really take any notes because i just wanted to be in the moment and not worry about writing things down. i was in total awe of john. you could really feel the energy in the room. john is probably one of the only "celebrities" that i know of who is very humble and funny. he's just like he is on television. and hes so much cuter in person as well!!!!! john just has this wonderful presence. and there really is a "godly" presence around him because i saw his aura and it was this beautiful white light around him. i mean it was just breathtaking. just really witnessing him connecting with the audiences' families made you have this feeling of peace and comfort knowing that your loved ones are ok. i mean i already knew that they are, but i think the reassurance and seeing it done live really makes it real. but boy the time flew by so fast!!! i mean i waited like 5 hours and they were filled with anticipation, but when the seminar started time just flew and it was like you wanted to be there forever!!! it was just incredible! when it was over i really felt rejuvenated. it was an experience ill never forget. but like john says you dont need a medium to connect with your loved ones. i find that extremely true as well, but theres nothing like seeing john connecting with the spirits.
