View Full Version : Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.....
I just can't stop saying thank you, as if I just can't say it enough, and I don't say it often enough. You guys thank me often, here and in email, but it's YOU who should be thanked.
Thank you EVERYONE.
Thank you to all the moderators who care so much about this group, and the website because it's all the members they truly care about. Thank you for your diligence in watching the board for wolves, for helping out people who have questions about how the board works, how to get the most out of it. Thank you for your support when I get tired and cranky and I'm tempted to delete *.*.
Thank you to all the "regulars" who keep coming back, who keep asking really good questions, or sharing their unique experiences that we all can draw upon, or for sharing those jokes or inspirational stories.
Thank you to all who answer prayer requests, because it's truly the compassion and intent of prayer that really works, and helps to make this a supportive and caring community.
Thank you to all the lurkers who are reading us more than we realize on a day to day basis, taking what they need and leaving the rest, and from time to time peeking out and saying hello when inspired to do so. We know you're there, and you're just as much a member of this community as those who do post.
Thank you to the open minded skeptics, who ask very valid and respectful questions. We know that's not easy, and appreciate your care for our feelings. Every time we answer those questions, our faith becomes stronger.
Thank you to everyone who posts with news and information, and updates, so that the rest of us can stay tuned to what's going on. I used to stay on top of such things, and I just can't do it on my own - John's so busy!
Yes, and even a "Thank you" should go out to the cynics who hang out for a while watching, and then try to craft their posts to appear semi-open-minded, but then always reveal themselves for the stinkers they really are. Or for the ones who email me with their junk, not even attempting to hide their feelings of contempt. The stark contrast you provide, helps us to remember exactly how tolerant, intelligent, compassionate, imaginative, caring, evolved, supportive and open-minded we really are.
Thank you, to each and everyone of you. You ALL make important contributions to this community, and without each person's input, it would not exist. Please take a moment on behalf of me...and thank yourself and pat yourself on the back.
Love to you all,
Pam

Pam,
Thank you for the "Thank You" -- gee whiz, this could go on forever! :D
I especially liked your line: "The stark contrast you provide, helps us to remember exactly how tolerant, intelligent, compassionate, imaginative, caring, evolved, supportive and open-minded we really are. "
That's what CAV is all about and that's why we're here!

Thank you for the "thank yous" Pam. (Hey, ever notice how you say a word over and over it starts to sound funny? ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou...:D )
Now thank YOU, for being the first person on the web to hear John Edward's message and saying "Hey, this needs to be acknowledged."
Thank you for giving us a comfortable forum, without the curses, put-downs, insults, petty fighting, sophomoric humor (well, except for my own) and the other dregs of free speech. This MB is not just a lesson in CAV, it's a lesson in civility.
And thank you for the time and energy that you've put into the site. It's just a small part of the web, but a very important one to us.
ThankyouThankyouThankyou...(tee-hee)

Wow, Pam, is this a great time to ask for a raise or what?!
Seriously, back-atcha Pam, and of course to John, Sandra, Carol and all for giving us a reason to be here in the first place.
OK guys, it's my turn...
I want to thank Pam and everyone here for making me, and all of the newcomers, feel so welcome and letting me be a part of this board and your lives. I feel as though I know a lot of you now and I LOVE it! Pam, what a wonderful thing you have started here. And everyone, what a wonderful job of keeping it real.
Thanks to all!!

I really believe that people come in and out of our lives for a reason. Pam (and everyone else) has stepped into mine via this board and I thank God everyday for what I am learning through John and each of you. The love and support we have for each other goes beyond everyday acquaintances, and can you imagine the rukus we'll cause when we "cross over" now that we know it can happen? Gods gona need the tylenol and John will get grounded for stirring the whole thing up. Anyways, thanks to ALL OF US!

When I saw your post "Thank you.." it reminded me of a song. I hope you don't mind if I post it here..

How about getting off of these antibiotics
How about stopping eating when I'm filled up
How about them transparent dangling carrots
How about that ever elusive kudo
Thank you India
Thank you terror
Thank you disillusionment
Thank you frailty
Thank you consequence
Thank you thank you silence
How about me not blaming you for everything
How about me enjoying the moment for once
How about how good it feels to finally forgive you
How about grieving it all one at a time
Thank you India
Thank you terror
Thank you disillusionment
Thank you frailty
Thank you consequence
Thank you thank you silence
The moment I let go of it was
The moment I got more than I could handle
The moment I jumped off of it was
The moment I touched down
How about no longer being masochistic
How about remembering your divinity
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out
How about not equating death with stopping
Thank you India
Thank you providence
Thank you disillusionment
Thank you nothingness
Thank you clarity
Thank you thank you silence
and Thank YOU Pam.

Pam,
Just had to jump in here to add my 2 cents.
Thank you for everything that you do. I know that you have a very busy life to live and you give selflessly to all of us here in this community. Your care and guidance touches us all. You have given all of us a safe place to express our feelings about a subject that not everyone understands. God bless you.

Thank you Pam! :jumper:
Thank you for having such a passion for John and his abilities! You always tell people what is in your heart and that is so nice. So many people have no passion. They go thru life thinking something is missing! Not me! When I believe in something I go for it -full speed ahead! LOL Some people may think I'm a little loopy-that's ok! I'm having fun.
I really enjoy reading your posts. This is the only board I am signed up to-but I do go to those other boards-just to have a look. I enjoy reading your posts there, too! LOL- YOU GO GIRL!

We all Appreciate Pam, she Appreciates us and we all Appreciate John Edward, ,Crossing Over and those associated with JE, SCIFI and the show & seminars.
The love and support we have for each other goes beyond everyday acquaintances, and can you imagine the rukus we'll cause when we "cross over" now that we know it can happen? Gods gona need the tylenol and John will get grounded for stirring the whole thing up.
Does the above quote indicate we will be crossing "en masse"? Just curious!
Will we have computers? LOL

I guess I would fall into that category, and sometimes I feel guilty about doing so because there's so much I TAKE from this place. Because you ALL are so GIVING. And it's you, PAM, who is the glue that holds this place together. Great job.

Pam and others, thanks for investing your own time into this board. This is a very interesting site. I'm still new here and love learning and hearing all the stories. I hope to get to know you all here.
By the way, what is CAV?

I agree Kab. I also hope to get to know the good people here better. Since finding out about John Edward I have wanted to share with others the impact that his work has and what it means to me. This is the place.
Oh, and CAV stands for "Communicate, Appreciate, Validate." Words to live by on this side.
Now I have a question. What does it mean when a name is surrounded by ((((( )))))?
Thanks Pam, and everyone here. :)

Hum.. what was I gonna say? Oh yeah, "THANK YOU PAM!" And there's also a big thank you to everyone here at the bboard as well! This place is almost like a second home for some of us.. heck, even a first home! And especially thanks to John and everybody associated with him! Without him and/or the show (and his book, tapes, etc) we all wouldn't be here conversing, discussing and making friends. Thanks all!
