View Full Version : Appreciation Day for Pam

Gail

She is going to shoot me for this :D but here I go...I want to make this day and thread an appreciation one for someone who mostly remains in the background but is the overwhelming reason we are all here.

She does not take praise comfortably and will say this is not all about her. It probably is not all about her, I'm sure she had help and inspiration from those on the Other Side.

This wonderful, huge, spiritual, international site is the creation of our Webmaster, Pam Blizzard, and she running it without anyone's sponsership. We take her and this place for granted, but without Pam it would not exist.

There is no way to count the number of lives that JEFriends has touched and improved over the years it has been up, but it has to be in the many thousands.

Thank you Pam:)

I guess my pink slip will be in the mail.

Beautiful thoughts, beautifully expressed, Gail! I wholeheartedly agree.

Many Friends have come and gone over the last couple of years, but each one has been touched by the experience, their spiritual lives improved, and they, in turn, have touched the lives of others.

It's the perfect example of the ripple effect and CAV all in one!

Thanks, Pam!

Well said, from the both of you. I send CAVs to you guys for all the lives Jude and Gail have helped here.

And, of course, to our esteemed colleague who helped this skeptic to believe in experiences that need no explanation. In appreciation to Pam, I say thanks- for giving us all the room (online and emotionally) to grow. You don't have to gracefully say "Thanks"- we know you.... Laura J.

Appreciate PAM day! Awesome! (((((Pam)))))

As a non-moderator, I can't begin to express my gratitude to Pam for this site or to those of you who keep this a 'safe' place to visit.

And, to those of us who haven't yet made a contribution to help keep this site banner free may want to consider it. It is on my agenda for this weekend. I spend enough time here that I think it only fair to help with the costs of it. A tangible way to appreciate and validate Pam's work. (now who's gonna get fired! :lwink: )

Peace
starlasue

Kudos, love, and blessings to Pam for a job well done and continued!

Pam and this site have been an inspiration for me on many an occasion. She's also helped me retrieve my head from my posterior from time to time :goofy:

I consider her a good friend I've just not met in person yet.

A toast to Pam...

As a relative newbie, I am only beginning to experience the enormity of your work and the wonderfulness and the inspiration that can be found here. It is a mission that many admire but only a precious few can accomplish. To you and all the moderators... I congratulate you, I thank you, and, along with all the JEFriends here, I honor you.

I second that emotion! Very well-put. Although I've been viewing the site for a longer time than I've been actually interacting on it, I guess I qualify as a "newbie", too.

Pam, thank you so much for allowing us all to bask in the White Light via the internet! That goes for all the moderators, as well!

Thank you!!!!!

Thanks for everything that you have done and continue to do. This site has been especially meaningful to me and has helped me more than I can effectively express!! Add my thanks to the moderators also.

Thank you, Gail. Very good idea!

Thank you, Pam. Although, I know you won't take the credit and don't like the attention, but I definitely appreciate everything you do. Thank you, not only for this wonderful community that you have created, but the wonderful friendships I have made as a result.

Thank you for inspiring me and helping me to grow. Your profound thoughts and wisdom have often helped me to face the challenges that lay in my path, and given me the strength to deal with situations that I would not have been able to handle otherwise.

You have provided far more than an online community of friends. You helped me to see the beauty in life and the beauty and kindness in others. To be able to learn about the signs around me and share my thoughts with others is a blessing. Thank you.

Thank you for your dedication and your kindness. I truly appreciate your presence and your friendship.

Love,
Kristen

Pam,
I know running a site like this must lead to some whopper headaches sometimes. I am eternally grateful for this safe place, your ability to create it, and your willingness to sustain it for thousands of people who are both strangers and friends.

And like the song says..."You don't know what you've got till it's gone." I miss your input, your thoughts, the nice and easy links to the cool and interesting articles you find , and just your presence in general. I hope you're taking care of yourself, and being well taken care of, and that you can come back soon.

Many many prayers:musicnote :musicnote

The site, as it is now, turned two years old on July 25th. Many people on here have been members since the beginning and on the previous site. It just shows the strength of the friendships Pam has built up over time.:) Some of those people are Don, PsyQuestor, JBannister, and TXJude.

It's 2 years Sunday for me. Thanks for remembering, Gail. :)

:D I have been with this new site since its beginning because I started at Delphi with many of you. John's message and Pam's ability to keep this site about John's message have definitely changed my life. This site has given me a place to "chat", agree, disagree, ponder, reflect, grow, nuture, pray, think, and discuss many many topics metaphysical and "earthly."

I found this quote a while back, it is by Anthea Paul, it expresses in a small way how I feel about Pam and her work on this site...THIS IS FOR PAM:

"Celebrate all your changes to date. You have learned many lessons well and the universe urges you to honor the changes you have undergone. You have acted with integrity, belief, and faith. This is what you were meant to do. And what you have pulled off is a reinvention of your SELF. You have come through the crysalis phase of your life. Congratulations.......enter the BUTTERFLY!" :butterfly

Happy Pam Blizzard Appreciation Day! :musicnote

Pooh, what a wonderful message. Thanks. I, too, am happy to say that my life is different because of the people I have met here and for that I am truly grateful.

Of course none of you wonderful people would become my 'friends' were it not for Pam and her efforts - blood, sweat and tears (at times). It took a little while for it all to come together and with the help of the moderators it has stayed in tact for all of us to enjoy whether by lurking ;) or contributing. I am very happy to be a part of this group.

Thank you Pam. Thanks to all of the moderators and every one of the contributors.

Blessings, Irishrose

I love this thread! What a wonderful way to thank Pam and all the moderators for this beautiful safe home where we can spend time when we want to be among friends. I know I touch base here several times a day and I truly miss being here when I'm not near a computer.

Thank you Pam, you are appreciated, loved and missed!

When I first "discovered" (with help from the other side) John Edward my life definately took a turn for the better. It has only been made so much better by this wonderful website family I have been privileged to become a part of.

I'm so glad you started this Gail. I have been here almost from the beginning, when we were a small (but intense) group over on Delphi. From the beginning Pam was at the helm, guiding us.
And we are still here today, thanks to her perserverance, dedication, determination, and great spirit.

Pam,

Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication! This site serves as an anchor for me....a place where I can come and recharge my spiritual self. Sometimes that just means reading the posts, and others it's posting my own experiences. Always I feel it's a "safe" place. (& a big thank you to the moderators, as well as Pam, for keeping it "safe").

Thank you thank you thank you!

Add one more to the "appreciators"--what would I do without Pam & her moderators (probably get more work done but who cares?!). Thanks to ALL--including the "friends" here to whom I feel so close--those who make a "down" day uplifting:)

I have been out a lot this summer, and just noticed this thread. What a wonderful idea.
Even though I am a bit late for Pam Appreciation "day" I could not just let this go by. Pam I know that you don't like the focus on you but rather on the message.

I just have to say thank you for the site and all of the hard work that you and the group do. This site and the friends have really touched my life and I have learned so much here. Reading other's peoples' views and experiences has opened my mind to explore new avenues. I have read books and learned about things that I may not have ever been aware of had it not been for this site and the Discovery site.

My hat's off to you

I really haven't had much time to post and I too am sorry for my belated Appreciation message.

To Pam and all of the moderators on the board - Thank you for all of your hard work in keeping this wonderful community of friends so successful. I am so happy and proud to be a member! You are doing a wonderful service for people who appreciate John's message of Communicating, Appreciating and Validating.
