Cheers All!
Just rolled in from the Seattle seminar...it was AMAZING! While we didn't get a reading, there were quite a few messages for my aunt and I at the seminar, the drive there, the drive home, at the hotel, the parking lot....lol! I'll share those tomorrow.
Thank you all for your prayers!!!!!
This is the second time I've seen John live - last year I was fortunate enough to sit in the Gallery.
And let me tell you what - Seattle was a COMPLETELY different experience than New York.
At the gallery, John was focused, attentive, and extremely accurate. He had a presence. He was so full of energy it seemed like he could jump out of his skin at any moment. You could feel the energy coming from him. He even blew out his microphone. It was an amazing experience.
Now in Seattle, John's demeanor was a lot different from what I witnessed at the Gallery. He was dressed casually, in black jeans and black long sleeved shirt, and he had his glasses on. (I'm think he only wears contacts for TV.)
When strolled out on stage and the room erupted. He was relaxed, and seemed extremely comfortable standing in front of over 3,000 anxious people. He had attitude. And he wasn't just funny -
John could have passed for a stand up comedian.
He started giving us the usual "ground rules" and asked that if he starts reading someone who isn't validating his information and gets stuck, that we be patient.
He said, "Ay know when your watching crossing over and I'm doing a reading, and it's like I'm going over, and over, and over, and your sitting at home yelling at the TV 'Stupid as* woman...'
I'm standing here wondering which one of you is going to do that..."
Immediately after that, he said not to expect to get all the answers you want from your loved ones if you did get a reading. He said "You might want to hear that you were really Moms favorite, or your damn sister stole the ring...but they come through with the new shoes you bought yesterday. [laughter] But if they come through with that, it means that they were there for the important things too. They were there when you graduated, they were there when you got married, they were there when you had your first child, they were there when you had your affair."
I almost wet my pants I laughed so hard.
He also shared some touching moments from his new book that I'll let everyone read after its release-BUT I will share a few dates John has coming up.
He mentioned he just finished a taping of the Ellen Degenerate show, he's going to be on Larry King Live in October, and in December he's going to do a "Crossing Over Live"...he will be in the Gallery alone, taking live calls from viewers. (Nifty, hu?)
I'll post details of all the readings after I go over my notes, but I want to share with you the most amazing reading I've ever seen John give. It took my breath away.
John was standing on the corner of the stage reading a woman named Pat on the far left side of the room close to the front.
Her husband was coming through and apologizing for what taking his own life had done to her and her family. John said that it was not a selfish act - but that the man genuinely believed that by leaving, he would be setting her and her family free.
John continued giving her information, all of which she validated, including a funny story about miricale-whip. Then John said, "I have to say I like his energy and I have to say he's doing something that is not very common, I've had this happen before but it doesn't happen all the time. He's going to escort me to that side of the stage. (Pointing to the opposite end) Hang on, don't go anywhere."
As John was walking across the stage he turned and asked Pat, "Is it possible you know someone on that side of the room? Is there a reason for me to go there?"
"No." She answered.
He then turned to the camera operator and pointed towards Pat. "Can you guys put her on the screen? OK, Pat look at the camera...smile!"
He then pointed to the right front corner of the room. "Ok you guys in this section, does anyone know her?" he said grinning & pointing to the screen.
A woman in that section raised her hand & was quickly given a microphone.
"Is she a massage therapist?" the woman asked.
John looked at Pat, folded his arms and grinned. She answered yes, which caused a gasp from the audience.
Johns head turned to the other woman across the room, his grin widening, and she continued. "You've worked with me before. And I think you also work with my hairdresser.."
"What's your name?" Pat asked.
"My name is Pam and my hairdresser is Laura."
Pat gasped, "Yes! Laura's here with me!"
The audience erupted with gasps and applause.
John unfolded his arms and replied, "Crossing Over..reuniting the living with the living.." raising his hands towards Pam & then Pat.
It was STUNNING. I'm getting tears in my eyes again.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!
I'll post more details tomorrow! God Bless!
