OK - Ticketmaster is sold out. We tried for 45 minutes to get through. When we were on hold for 30 minutes (long distance...ouch) and they informed us that they no longer had tickets. We ordered them through the Roy Thomson Center ONLINE...but they said that they would send you a confirmation if your request was avail. I JUST SPOKE WITH THE CENTER...and we got tickets... but we had to order them over the phone. The R.T.C. said that they were not allowing tickets online. JE PRODUCERS said NO. We ordered ours and it is almost where we wanted to sit. The guy was REALLY SUPER NICE TO US. Thanks Namaste for the encouragement. You are always a sweetie...and I always no to follow your faith in everything...
GOD BLESS,
BOBBIE :jumper:

For your own safety, please don't post personal information, such as hotel or travel arrangements, or where you'll be sitting. If you plan to meet up with other members, please make those arrangements off the board through your e-mail.
I have just *bumped* the "Frequently Asked Questions About Seminars" thread, if you want to take a peek.
Good luck, be safe, and most of all, ENJOY!! :D

Whew, that was a toughie! I finally got through the Roy Thomson box office after 40 minutes of dialling and I'm happy to say that I'll be sitting not too far from the stage, which is better than I expected.
Good luck everybody! Just hang in there and keep pressing that redial button, you'll eventually get through :)

I just had to pipe in here and agree with Namaste. The seminar I attended was nothing short of life-changing for me. I believed in ADC before the seminar, but still had some "healthy skepticism". Seeing the process unfold right there in front of me was phenomenal, and has cemented my beliefs, and led to SO much learning and spiritual growth. If you CAN go, you MUST go!;) You won't regret it.

For those who are travelling to Toronto for the seminar and will be looking for accomodations, I came across this website while looking for restaurants in the area of the Roy Thomson Hall. It maps out the hotels closest to the theatre. I'm sure there are other sites but here's one to get you started.

I GOT TICKETS FOR TORONTO SEMINAR!!!!!!!
I was planning to go away for the Thanksgiving weekend. Plans
have changed for now.
I'm so excited!!! Cannot wait until the day. I got a ticket for my
friend who does not know yet debating if I should tell her or keep
it a surprise. I don't know if I can hold off telling her.
I really think like everyone on this board that John has a very
special talent and I can't wait to see him live!
I wonder how may on this board are from Canada or Toronto
I'm only 15minutes away from Roy Thompson Hall.

Well jennas_rose and I will be attending. I think like previous seminars, we'll bring some balloons so that we can all meet. That way you can find us. In Chicago we all met in the back corner. Maybe we could meet up by the stage or another place. Just so that we all meet, that is the important thing. BTW, did anyone ever post the Chicago pic on here?
GOD BLESS,

Bounce, when I noticed Bounce I thought no couldn't possibly be. Surprise! I am a BonJovi addict and post on their message board too. What shows have you been to for both the Jons? In Oct we drove from Guelph Ont to Akron Ohio to see John Edward. After we cross the boarder we were talking about it beeing crazy to go that far to see him ( my mom her twin & a friend & me) and I said no wayand if Bonjovi comes to Buffalo instead of Toronto I'm going & yous will drive me haha. As it turn out...what youput out to the universe comes back. Jan I find out Bon Jovi is coming to Toronto bought scalper tickets , loved the show so much bought ebay tickets to the Buffalo show in March ( beside the ramp) awesome and of course ebay big bucks for row6 in July at the Molson Amp. And now off to see " moms boyfriend John Edward as we all joke even my dad) in Oct in Toronto. He is amazing I could go see him every week.We didn't get read but it didn't matter it was exciting to be there. And this time weare bringing friends with us who love him too. 2 Jons totally amazing in their own ways, and both make milions of people happy . Life is wonderful

Hi auntimicki!
Wow,that's very cool! And now that i see your name,i have seen you on the bj.com board. I really only posted there a couple times, as i am more of a backstage person (JoviFaithful). Do you go there now that the bj.com boards are down?
I have seen BJ 21 times now. This year i went down to Salt Lake City,LA and Anaheim in April. Then i went to Toronto in July, and Giants/fc trip last month! This was another reason why i wasn't sure about going to toronto for John,as i was already there in July for the night and now this would be yet another trip for one night.
I have never seen John in person before. This will be my first seminar. I've been a fan of his since April/May last year. I have decided that i am going to go,as long as i can find a good price range on a flight. Last week Westjet had one for 330 and now it's up to 440. I will not pay 4-600 dollars on a flight (which is all i'm finding). no way. that's crazy. I'm going to keep an eye on the flights and hope it goes down again,or else i'm not going.
If it's meant to be,i'll be there and if not, that's ok too. :)
Have you gotten his new book? I'm not sure where to look here, i called Coles and they are not getting it (it's not in the computer). When i looked on Chapters website a few days ago it said it'll be a few weeks. I'm gonna try calling one of their stores here though. Other than that i guess i might have to order it online.
Well anyway,it's great to see a familiar name on here!
:D
bounce, you can easily order the book right here on this site. In the upper right corner you will see a place called "Shop for John Edward books, audios, and more." Those of us who did that awhile ago, received our copies of "After Life" just as it was released to the book stores.

Thanks Namaste
You are always a blessing. Since I have been gone for so long, I wasn't sure if it had been posted. NO RUSH, let Pam get back to being herself. Thanks again, you always make me smile...

Hi everyone. I registered with this site some months ago but I am a little shy about posting messages. My husband and I have been a fan of John's work for a couple of years now and we always said if he comes to Canada we would try to get tickets to see him. Well of course when we heard he was coming, we were very excited. I couldn't believe it when I sent for tickets online and I got them right away. We have never been away alone together in our 20 years of marriage, didn't even have a honeymoon, so we have decided to make a weekend of it . Maybe this was arranged by our loved ones on the other side?????
Welcome TerryA to the visible side of the site. It's always great to have someone come out of the lurking mode. :)
I did remove your seat location on your post because it's always wiser and safer to not reveal exactly where you are sitting on a public board.
Hope you give us a long report of the seminar later.
Gail :)

My sister got the "Twins" front row for the Thur show they are going to freak out. ( my mom & her sister, I've spoke about them before) Our Fri tickets were up on the balcony so we are going to both shows .My sisters & myself are in rows 3 I think spread out. Thats ok the twins need to be up front because they love him & the Angel cloud they seen on my uncles 1 month anniversay ( I told the story last year before we went to Acron.) Maybe it will be acknowledged this time sincewe are close to home, and my uncle knows the stress we went threw to get the first tickets we were told they were sold out. A friend said It must mean yous aren't meant to go, I said no it means uncle Albert is up there laughing his butt off stressing us out that we dont have tickets! Watch we'll get them he's just having a laugh. And we didget tickets to both shows.
Bounce, are you coming?email me and we'llchat about our Johns. If you or anyone ges & doesn't getread it's ok because you will be just as happy either way. You feel the one who get read feelings too, happy sad, it doesn't matter everyone is 1 big family there. Oh ya, to the woman from Timmins I was born in South Porcupine. My Nan lives in Timmins & just moved to the Golden Manor. I hope to get to meet everone before the show, Micki

Call me crazy but I too got tickets for both shows!!
When the tickets went on sale for the Oct 10th show, I got tickets for the mezzanine (1st balcony), not bad seats but not the best. I was on ticketmaster.ca this morning and wanted to see what was still available for the Oct 9th show and I managed to get seats on the floor, only a few rows back!!! They were single seats but one behind the other, so now another friend gets to come with me!! YAHOO!!
My husband thinks I'm crazy!:lwink:

Thanks for the welcome Gail. I will definitely give a report. And to Micki, I too was born in South Porcupine. I noticed from your profile that you are a year younger than me. Perhaps we went to school together???

I was at Roy Thomson Hall today and out of curiosity I asked the woman at the box office if the Oct. 9th seminar was sold out yet and she told me there were still a couple of tickets left for seats very close to the stage. I thought, 'It can't get any better than that!' so I bought a ticket. I can't wait to meet all of you on the 9th and 10th. :jumper:

My DH and I are going to be around in TO in October (we live in Australia) and he was looking for hockey tickets  and found the JE tickets instead - so we got tickets for the thursday night show!!! :jumper:
He said there were HEAPS available online and even said he could easily get five seats in a row.
I am really boggled by this, the Sydney entertainment centre that seats 10,000 was sold out in 15min (or so) how is it that there are still seats for this venue when there are only 2500 seats??? Don't Canadians LOVE JE??? :D :D :D j/k
Anyway, we were really happy to get tickets and are probably going to spend the night and get a nice hotel in the city and make a mini vacation out of it.

I'm a huge Canadian Fan!!
I think the problem with the lack of numbers regarding Canadian fans compared to the US and Australia is that the show is only on during the day, when most of the population is at work. Our cable companies do not carry the SciFi Channel and the use of satellite dishes is slowly becoming more popular than cable. I'm originally from New Brunswick, the east coast of Canada for those who don't know, and most of them have never heard of John Edward or have seen the show. My family/friends down east only know because I've told them who is he and what he does. Don't forget, Canada is a large country and the population is spread out for the most part, except for the Toronto/Vancouver/Montreal area where most of the population lives, and most of these people work during the day and don't see the show. The population of NY City is the population of Canada as a whole!! The US has millions of people living there, and Australia is more of a compact country (I actually know very little about Australia).
In the Toronto area, this has recently changed as the show is now on at 5:00 pm which will be great exposure as most people turn on the TV when they get home from work for the news, soaps, etc., to keep them company while making dinner (at least I do!).
I think the fan base in Canada will double in the next couple of years, we're just slow off the block!! Once people start seeing the show, and by word of mouth, JE will become the next Prime Minister - ha ha ha! Just kidding!! :lwink:
Heather C.
09-24-2003, 02:17 PM
It also doesn't help that there hasn't been any advertising on JE's Toronto seminars in the Canadian media. If I wasn't a member here or checked his website, I would never have known he was coming to Toronto.
Netrac
09-24-2003, 06:28 PM
Hey there, I guess it must be a advertising thing. Australia is a huge country too with people living along the coastline (ie. very spread out).
Having said that, I think we used to have CO on three times a day: once at noon, another at 5 and another at about 11pm. And then on Sunday's he was on free to air at about 7pm. So that must be it.
What an absolute shame though that more people don't know about it! But hey, I'm not really complaining as it meant we could get tickets on short notice and pretty decent ones too!

It was a fluke that we found out about JE. I was phoning ticketmaster looking for Shania and they said on Today John Edward. I freaked out sold out. Then we maaged to get some , then some more , then some more. SOMEone wants all my family & friends there. Ay how we have a bus leaving from Guelph for the friday if anyones interested in coming from Guelph, Kitchener , Cambrige , anyone wanting to drive here & go with us welcome. There are 24 of us going but only 16 or 18 on the bus so we have some more seats available. It will be so much fun going down as a group our seats are all in groups of 6in differnt secs. And think of the stories we will have wih the twins talking about there front row seats they had on the thur. haha. Let me know if your interested, Micki
