If you have trouble visualizing, then you may be interested in a project under development at the Georgia Institute of Technology. They’re making it for people just like you.

It’s a meditation chamber that features, according to a description given in The Futurist, the creation of virtual reality to induce relaxation. Relaxing nature scenes, sunsets and moonrises provide the imagery, while biofeedback signals from pulse, sweat and respiration activities guide you into relaxation and monitors the results.
