Yippee! For JE Friends! Looks like we have a whole bunch of people going this time and should be great! I can't wait to meet the new people on the board and give and get hugs from some I have met! **hint hint hint**!
Hey Cece .... can Waffle House handle a crowd like this? LOL I have three things on my agenda for Oct. 7th.
1. Meet the JE Friends group
2. See JE in action
3. Eat a pecan waffle at Waffle House! (not necessarily in that order!)

This is tooo cool!!!! I can't believe you and Cyndy are coming too! First Indy, now Columbus? You girls keep this up and you'll be seeing every mid-size city in the Midwest! Wow! :D
OK Amfie, map time. Just where the heck is this Waffle House? E-mail me with the freeway exit.
Can't go to every mid-size city in the Midwest without hitting the Waffle House!
All this and John Edward too?! :jumper:

NO NO NO! It can't be sold out! Waaah Waah! I knew I should have bought two tickets! Twin! I just called too and they said sorry sold out! Waaah Waaah Waah!
Can you squeeze into a ball? I'll put you in my purse? Oh I am on the hunt for a ticket now ....
Hey, maybe we can wear a combined outfit, and since we are "twins" we could get away being Siamese twins and using one ticket? Do you think it would work? I'm willing to try if you are! Just trying to make you smile, not trying to be flippant.

I'm really excited about this, but... I ordered my tickets Monday and I would have swore she said they'd be here in 48 hours, and I still haven't got them. If they don't come tomorrow/today, whatever it's after 12 ;) , I'm going to call. And if something has happened to my tickets, after I have a heart attack, I'm going to sue somebody, LoL.
Hope to see ya there Pam! And everybody else! :jumper:
And I hope you can find a ticket Tammy!

Krissy don't worry, they usually take a week or so for you to get them. I ordered mine a week ago Sat. and still haven't gotten mine. I shouldn't be too concerned until at least a week and half goes by. But if you feel better do call. I am sure they will be helpful.

krissy, I think what they tell you is that you'll have your tix by 48 hours before the seminar, but it never takes that long - they just cover their rears.
I am glad all of you get to go together like that again - as well as some new folks!
2 weeks from today I will be in line in SA!

Just for the record guys,
I'm feeling pretty depressed. Had a chance to go to either or both of the seminars and now we can't go at all. I know it wonderful to CAV the family, and I'm getting there, but I really wanted to go to at least one of the seminars. I think I was looking forward to this one, more than the first one.
Okay, enough grumbling. I know the bride will be beautiful and I'll get to see my family (which I'll be seeing tomorrow for a bridal shower) and we do need each other. So, <<big shrug>> there must be a reason and I better live with it.
I hope all of you have a wonderful time. Would you lift one for Don and Bea while you are at it. And you better have some great descriptive stuff to share.
Give me time, I'll get over this.
I don't blame you one bit for feeling that way, but I also don't blame you for the choice you made.
There will be other seminars for us to gather at, but you and Don, and Tigger will be there with us in spirit!

((((Fairiedust)))) I so wanted you and Don and Tigger to come! In fact I debated about going to St. Louis just so I could see you guys again! But you know what I am going to do? I am going out and buying tic tacs (white and orange) and I am going to pass them out and remember you!
I have a wedding the weekend before. I missed the shower for work, and can't miss the wedding. (Plus it just so happens to be the day after my b-day ... so work can just lump it without me! LOL)
Once again ....

Well, I'm glad you are all getting together in Columbus. I wish I could go to that one as well. Oh well, it's not ment to be. I will be in St. Louis and thinking of everyone 2 days before you all get together.
And Tammy, I'm sure someone will come up with a ticket......Some how, some way.
I posted last week-end and said I had just gotten 4 tickets for me and my 3 daughters! They told me it may be a couple of weeks before I get my tickets. I'm glad I got them when I did or I would have been out of luck from what I am hearing.

I ordered my ticket the morning after Pam announced the seminar. It comes in a business size envelope with light blue trim showing through the wax paper window. No Telecharge logo, just a return address.
And no, you didn't tear it up D.J., 'cause our relatives stop us from doing dumb things like that! :D

Well someone must really want me to go to Columbus! LOL I finally got my tickets today and am realllllllly surprised I got them. When I called on Sat (a week ago) I was on my cell phone since I was on the computer looking up the phone number for telecharge. Now either I had a bad connection (I could hear fine but who knows) or the girl who answered my call couldn't understand my "accent" (geesh! I am from OHIO!) I tried paying using my Master Money card since I had some cash in the checking account. Went through the process of giving the information and she said it was ~~ ugh~~ declined! Now this happens to me, but not too often, and I had been fighting with the bank re. a deposit they lost so I thought maybe this might have been the problem. The girl read back my info, and she had a few things wrong like address and zip code and name! So I gave her my Visa # and we went through the process again ~~ repeating my address, etc. Once again, she had it wrong, but we corrected it and this time the charge went through fine.
When I finished up I immediately called the bank, the Master Money card was declined because the address she had put in was incorrect. Thank God! No problem with the acct. so I thought nothing of it. People have been writing in that they got their tickets and I started to get a little concerned. Well it came today, and I don't know how they did it! Love the USPS! The address was wrong and so was my name! (That part was not a big deal since they had the last name correct but my first name is Ann and they spelled it Anne.) LOL But at least the tickets came! And thanks to Cece's warning .... I made sure I didn't tear the envelope in half! Now ..... where to put the ticket so I don't lose it!???

I am going to the Columbus seminar to see JE. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how early I should arrive. Any lines prior to entering and are we allowed dictaphones for the Q&A session?
Thanks!

Pretty! Doesn't look like an airplane hanger! And...did you happen to notice John Edward's "sails" on the stage?
Coincidence? I don't think so!
Awwww Don! call up your relies and have them change the date :)
Go here and look at the "slide show". I kind of thought it was this one:

I got my tickets Tuesday! :) I'm exicted! Chris, my bf that's going with me, is only semi-excited, LoL, he's not a big JE fan. But I'm trying to convert him! I've only been to Columbus once and it was last year in October for a modeling thing at the same hotel, and I think it's in the same room, hehe, weird huh?

I will be going to Columbus and I have a few questions, my first posting and my first time to a JE seminar. How long does it take to get your tickets. I ordered them last Monday. Where is the best place to sit? I know it would be impossible to get in the front. Are the seats set up like they are in the show? Are you planning on meeting before or after the show. Sorry to be so full of questions but I am soooooo excited. I have wanted to go see him for such a long time. thank you

Pam --
You mean the lovely room with the tables? Thats where we get to see JE? Golly!! I hope they keep the comfy chairs :) I was thinking it would be that other room with the rows upon rows of chairs ( quicky prayer that you are right and i am wrong! ) I'm thinking they will remove all the nice stuff, and we'll get 'normal' chairs :)
The seminars are much larger than a gallery, and no not on bleachers. See above information posted by Pam to see a description and tour of the room. I think there will be rows of chairs, not the tables etc. Same room though...
At the Indy seminar there were three thousand people in attendance. People were read from all over the room, it didn't have anything to do with them being up front, back etc. The guests coming from the other side are the ones who choose i think ;)
Good Luck :) Maybe we'll see each other in Columbus?

To protect yourself and your privacy I usually would edit your post ( re: where you are staying ). The only reason I'm not is because there are several Hyatt hotels in Columbus.
Take care not to put too much personal information into your posts. No phone numbers etc...
For your safety :)

Yay! So glad you're over here. I always enjoyed your postings over on the ol' Delphi board. And now I find out your a "Columbunista", too!
If you can't find tickets on the net, you might show up the day of the show and see if someone is selling tickets, or if there have been any cancellations. (Which theses days, unfortunately, may be likely.)
Please look for the rest of us if you get in and introduce yourself.
Good luck!

Ceceoh, where on the net should I look? I noticed someone was selling tickets on ebay and the bid was up to 450.00. That's just a bit steep for me!
ceceoh
09-26-2001, 01:26 AM
$450!!!!! Geez, I didn't know anyone would spend that much just to come to Columbus! :D
Oh well, you could try searching at Google, AltaVista, etc. under "John Edward tickets", but a good bet, if you can, is show up on the day of the show and see if anyone has extra tickets for sale. Many do, and almost always sell them at face value. I remember reading on Delphi about someone selling an extra ticket to a lady, and that same lady got a reading. A perfect example of "those who are meant to get a reading, will."
Hope you can make to the show. Best of luck.
DrDollie

Thanks Cece. I will be there hoping that there are extras!
