AC seminars 12/4 and 12/5

wow. i think i am speechless. i didnt get a full reading but i got a mini mini reading. and let me tell you as small as it was it really meant the WORLD to me. im still like on a happy cloud 9!!! ok if you dont mind, i will begin about tonite since it is the fresh in my mind and then ill talk about last night.. hehehehe

ok so its friday and a snow storm is predicted for the entire weekend. in the morning where i live, there was only rain. so i was praying it would just rain and the snow wouldnt affect me, since i live so close to the ocean half the time when snow is predicted it turns to rain anyway! well in the early afternoon it starts to snow! so im determined that we will get there no matter what--ive seen john now in the rain, snow and shine--nothing will get in my way! hehe. so my dad's cousin Debbie, my mom and friend Marion get in the car and drive to AC. now talk about how things always happen for a reason--way back in september at the freehold book signing, i met the woman Monica who is mentioned at the end of The Afterlife--she sent john the rosary beads blessed from the vatican on the date of Justin's birthday. and john had asked his mother to send him a sign that she was with him on the birth of his child, and he asked her to send him the rosary beads...so he writes monica back a letter and even includes her in his book! the way my mom met monica was she was sitting in starbucks with this astonished look on her face--she had just read the part where she is mentioned. so they start talking and then when i meet her it turns out her ticket number was the number right after mine! chance? i think not!! this just shows how there are no accidents! ok so sorry to make a long story short ever since then my mom and I have become friends with monica..

so when it was time to order the tickets monica said she had bought 4 and might have an extra one for me. and that had to be probably in october but it turned out she wouldnt have that extra ticket--but call me crazy but i just had this strong feeling that some how i would end up with the ticket.

so monday night monica Instant messages my mom and asks if we know anyone who would be interested in going and i knew immediately who to bring. the original plan was we were going to meet them to get the ticket at the convention center, but plans got changed and my mom ended up going out to dinner with monica and giving her the ticket then. talk about no accidents, it turns out monica and her daughters werent able to come tonight because of the bad weather!! so this just proves to me how there is a greater power at work. and on top of that i had this feeling that monica wouldnt be there as we were sitting there. yeah the place was crowded but i just sensed she wasnt there and when i came home i had an email saying she wasnt able to make it because of the snow! Sooo that is how marion was able to come--and boy she really enjoyed herself and didnt get a reading but she could validate info from the messages coming through. so i was glad she was able to attend!

ok getting back to the seminar..(sorry this post is so long!) so we get there and stop at mcdonalds since there really werent any other places around and we were pressed for time. we walk in an what do i find but 2 pennies--i dont know if ive said this before but i truly believe the pennies i find are pennies from heaven from my grandpa and grandma..(after my grandma passed and i kept finding pennies i said to them "how do i know who this penny is from?" and ever since then whenever i find pennies i find them in pairs of 2..) ooo and then the second episode of crossing over today was the one about pennies from heaven..i thought how cute!

so we get to the seminar and see Chris (qtncrazy) and her mom, and Sandy(chargeit2him) and her family was there and they saved seats for my friends. by the way i cant thank you enough for saving the seats for both nights!!! you are sooooooooo kind! and thank you so much for that angel! its so lovely!

our seats where in the middle section and you could see john just fine from where we were. as soon as he came out i immediately saw his aura--at first it seemed like a warm yellow color and then throughout the night it seemed to become a brighter white. and so he comes out and this time he talked a lot about the process rather than getting right into readings. i always love hearing him talk and everytime its just more reinforcements. then he was asking for questions and i had my hand up but who does he pick my mom (called her number 2). i was like in shock!! i was ready to pass out in my seat lol and then it turns out my mom just had a feeling he was going to pick her for a question. she asked him a question something like this "how would you receive a message from a loved one if they have reincarnated" (or something like that i dont remember exactly i was ready to have a heart attack! and see she had wanted to ask him this question since the oct seminar in CT but didnt get picked. so there my mom is on the big screens talking to john edward!! i was like WOOOOW. so as he is responding to her he was like "hold on a second, are you going to Europe?" and my mom is like thinking to herself and meanwhile i am sitting next to her thinking "mom this is for me!" and hes like "no this isnt for you its for someone who you are with.." so i immediately stand up and my mom says well we are hear with our cousin and friend and shes like are either of you going to europe totally forgetting about me! and hes like no i think its for her and my mom almost bumps me in the face with the mic since shes so nervous and john even commented like "hey watch out" i was like aww so cute. so there i am now with the mic and he's like "are you going to europe because i feel like im crossing the atlantic" and i was like yes i will be in june..going to italy.. (my italian club just got approved to go to Italy just about a week ago and im also the president of the club so i intend to go and ive also been debating on what to do this summer because i have a lot of different oppurtunities to travel europe and do this college program and some of the dates conflict so ive been praying about it and i gave it up to god to direct me..so i think i found my answer...:lwink: so then my mom told him how we saw him in chicago and how i went to the workshop and won tickets to see him on carson daly..he gave me a thumbs up.. hey if any of the JEfriends that attended this remember what happened please post because i was just in shock that this was happening! that would be greatly appreciated!!!:lwink:
words can not express what that meant to me--it was short and sweet but it really meant a lot to me! and you know i just had this feeling that something like that would happen on the friday seminar. so then he took some other questions and got into the readings. it seemed like the readings were more in depth than thursday night. there were some powerful readings, like the first family that just lost their dad 2 months ago and he was supposed to be at the seminar and they burried him with the ticket. it was an emotional reading for the mother and daughter but they had some laughs as well.
then another reading was with this woman who's friend has a zoo and he kept getting like a baby elephant being born. so then he asked her to call her friend and that took a little time. but that was very interesting. then he had a reading that the person passed instantly because he was seeing john ritter and few people were claiming that but he found the right family. then another reading which took a few minutes to find the person was about small planes that glided in the seattle oregon area with the name kensington.. it turned out to be for this man Chuck who was my cousin debbie's friend! she was so happy that he got a reading and it was pretty powerful to him.

then aftewards the JEfriends got together for a picture! it was so nice to meet everyone again. i finally met Philsgail! again it was nice meeting you!

we get back and theres a lot of snow on the ground and the wind is still howling. more snow is in the forecast for tomorrow.
so what an incredibly amazing expereince it was for me tonight. it really taught me a lot and i feel so blessed!!!

now for the 12/4 seminar...
i went with my mom's friend Leslie and her mother. We got a little lost getting there from her mother's house and we were headed to Phily...but luckily we were able to make it in time and again BIG THANK YOUs go out to Sandy her husband and her son for saving us seats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jumper: it seemed like john didnt talk as much about the process but had more readings and questions. he told the story about australia and the "spoofs" and also about the cheerleader--the woman who really supported him and had a picture of him by her nightstand to say goodnight to him. and how she was in a group reading of 30 people and then she wasnt validating the info..somethin like that. and Sandra was there! it was so nice to see her in person.
the seminar started out with a reading in our section. just a few rows behind us. then he even did a reading for one of the security guards and i think that really caught her off guard but you could tell how happy she was. there seemed to be a lot of readings all around us. oo yes, now an interesting thing happened. in the first reading he was like i am getting the 28, and the girl didnt validate it at first she seemed like she couldnt think of the significane of it. out of nowhere in my head i see "May 28" flash in my head and i even heard it in my head! i was like where did that come from?! then a few minutes later the girl was like "ooh may 28!!" and im like whoa.. could i have been picking up on the energy? it seemed to happen a few more times during the night as well.

ok well ive talked your ear off!!! im looking forward to hearing your responses/expereinces on the seminars! hope everyone got home safetly!!! again it was so wonderful to see some of the board members! thank you soooooooo much again! :lwink: if i think of anything else ill let you know--im probably forgetting something since its so late but i just felt compelled to write this down now! talk to you all soon!

Well I got to the convention center about 6:00pm. The line was already moving and seats where already being filled in. I tried to get there earlier but jury duty calls even though that turned out to be a cool experience.

I went there with a friend who has never really seen CO just heard of JE. Her father passed away from cancer about 3 yrs ago and was just interested in going.

I must say John is hillarious with his funny stories and sarcastic comments. He really seems to be down to earth with a great personality. The reading with the event staff security guard was interesting. She was caught off guard. It was funny when he called her out. She tried to walk away but John had to stop her and tell her she wouldn't get in trouble. There where some good readings that night.

My friend was very impressed and wants to attend another seminar. She's a social worker. She was so impressed with John saying Mediumship is not the answer and that people should seek counsoling. She liked how he was so down to earth and was real with what he does. It wasn't at all what she expected. She had no regrets in going even with as much grief she got from friends and co-workers.

As soon as my first Bridges comes in I'm going to try and get tickets for one of the seminars. I'm sure it won't be for a good while but its worth the wait.

Wow Amy :eek: I din't take notes and only recall what you you have posted. I was really excited when John said about the trip and you are sitting there saying "its me" and your mom not remembering . John saying " Don't hit her with the mike !:eek: "
After his speech about how to hold the mike up. For us it was another night of near misses. You behind us and the 4th the women in front of us. ( A woman't mom went to Kenya ,I think, ) the Africa connection. I kind of had the feeling this wasn't my time to get read. During the questions one guy mentioned that this was his third seminar. He asked that since John mentioned that usually only loud people come through and his family is the type to say "go ahead I'll wait" he asked John " am I screwed ? :confused: and the whole audience burst out laughing.:P I think John said "probably" Then he related about telling people they should not follow him hoping to get a reading. He also told a story about his cake theory where he was in an airport and someone came up to him and said " I know you don't want people to follow you around hoping to get a "piece of the cake" but have you ever thought that because it's the way you bake the cake that we come for ? " I think he liked that answer.
:thumbsup: There was alot of laughs last night and alot of tears especially from the mother and daughter who lost the father with the ticket burried with him.
Sandra was with him both nights but Thursday night he had her working. Running around with the mike. Last night she was sitting and I think John mentioned that his Aunt was there also. I'm not sure. I'm glad you liked the angels.

Daughtie just called to say that she & Gail are looking out their hotel window to a blanket of deep snow in AC. They were supposed to come home this morning, but have been advised to stay put until at least tomorrow.

They said the seminar was wonderful. Valerie said there seemed to be fewer, but more detailed readings. I'm sure Gail & Valerie will want to post more when they get home.

Please send them positive thoughts for a safe trip home!

so the snow finally hit AC? it is now snowing again and the roads around here are icey and snowy! normally it never snows this early around here but of course it does it when John is in town! lol

im glad Sandy posted about the cake thing! i really think he is right. he even said sometimes he does see familiar faces--but on the flip side he is always saying how he can never really see the people in the audience because he is blinded by the lights!! i liked how he talked about its like a birthday cake and when you go to a party everyone gets a slice of the cake and thats how the seminar readings are--everyone takes home a piece of that reading. i have heard him use that analogy before but i really liked how he added how the man said to him, "maybe its the way you bake the cake". i think that really made john think a little too hehe. i could relate to what the guy asking the question was saying because i have seen john a lot this year and never had received a reading but i really went to see how he works and i just love how he does his job. i really learn a lot from him. i think sometimes the reason its always the "other" people getting the messages is I know that my loved ones are around me since i receive signs all the time and i know that you dont need a medium to tell you that they love you because they already do! the bonds of love will always remain. since i have had similiar expereinces to john, i can totally relate to what he is saying because it is the truth. maybe in some way he can sense the energies of us that already understand and want to minister to those that need the validation.

for now there arent any seminars posted in my area but ill keep my eye outfor them. i now have about 4 other people that I took to their first seminar and it really brought joy to me seeing their faces lit up when john came out. so maybe i was meant to take them so they would gain a learning expereince from it--which they all did! so they told me they all would love to come to another seminar. i would definitely go again to bring them because i think its important to support him with all the skeptics and cynics out there. in my own life i know how it feels to be scorned upon with criticism (from my friends) about how its not real or whatever but ive learned not to defend it because as john says if you were defending it, then there really is something to defend and really there isnt because its real. so i just let all their negative energy fly right off me and just protect my aura just a little bit more. hehe.

im glad everyone that went that posted came home safetly! and prayers for a safe journey to chris and her mom, daughtie and gail and anyone else that stayed over in AC because of the snow!

i think im still feeling like this :goofy: and it hasnt totally hit me yet. lol i felt like crying i was so happy when he was talking to me! now i really feel the urge to write him a letter--all the letters do get read by his workers right? well i hope so! ok well ill talk to you all soon! stay warm!:lwink:

I love the cake thing. A perfect way of looking at it. When friends and family give me a hard time about going to yet 'another' seminar, the cake reference is a way of explaining why I go without having to 'defend' myself.
Amy, I'm so glad you had the chance to 'talk' to John. Have a great time in Italy...it's so beautiful there. I went to Europe when I was in high school and Italy was one of my favorite places. I am so glad I went when I was younger when I had the opportunity to do so. And while I was visiting the Sistene (sp?) Chapel in Rome, I received a really cool sign from my Dad, who had passed within that last year!
I'm glad that all who attended are safe. Can't wait to hear more!

The only down part of the trip was the room we had. When you looked out the window you came face to face with the part of the parking garage that collapsed and killed 4 people . It's a good thing we were only in the room to sleep.

Valerie and I stayed at the Showboat, which connects to the Taj Mahal through an inside hallway. Wonderful pegasus214 (Lorrie) was staying at the Taj and offered to drive Valerie and I to the Seminar. We met her in front of the Taj showroom, the same place John held his AC seminar in two years ago. We both saw John there in person for the first time then, getting an incredlble reading from him.

Lorrie drove us to the Sheraton and parked there. A covered hallway connects the Sheraton to the Convention Center. We planned on meeting Steluna (Diane) and NEOPHYTE (Jackie) in the hotel lobby and have some dinner, before getting in line.

Jackie had on the "Bite Me" shirt that she wore to John's book signing. She appeared at the end of a recent Crossing Over show with part of her interview at the signing. qtncrazy (Chris) called to let us know Chargeit2him (Sandy) called her and said there were already several hundred people in line. We hadn't eaten lunch and decided to skip dinner, going over to get in line instead.

You couldn't see how long the line was because some of it was upstairs. Chris, Sandy, and her son, Lou, found our group in line and stopped by to chat. That's when we took some pictures. Sandy gave each of us adorable little angel decorations for our trees that she had made. I handed out a few of the site cards to give to people.

The doors opened a little early and we all found seats not far from the front. The seats were very close together and narrow. Good thing we all liked each other because we were seated close and personal. :D Some of us headed for the ladies room, which had a plumbing problem and a very wet floor.:eek: We met up with Angelina on the way back and warned her.

The 1 1/2 hours we waited for John to come out went quickly because two big screens were showing highlights from his shows. I think there was only one spot I didn't remember seeing before. Carol came out on stage and gave her usual instructions to us about cell phones and cameras. I don't recall seeing any flash pictures being taken. John walked on stage right on time and talked about the process, how he sees people who are above you, beside you, below you, etc. It was all brand new to Valerie's long time friend, sitting next to her and seeing John for the first time, but all known by us veterans. :)

John's wife, Sandra, was in the front row and we saw her helping Carol later, bringing microphones to people being read. I did not take notes on the readings but there were some great ones. One man sitting way in the back answered Yes to what John was telling him, sometimes hesitantly, and always with a lot of expression. Some readings brought tears to our eyes, others made us all laugh.

Please, those of you who took notes, elaborate on the readings.
John also answered a lot of questions. Most of us knew the answers to them. Anyone who wrote them down, go ahead and post them.

AmyRose is going to be on my "list" of members who were read. Her reading wasn't a "Medium" reading but it was a "Psychic" reading.

The seminar was over way too quickly, as they all are. A lot of us met outside the room right after and stood against a wall for a group picture. One was taken with the room lights on, half the hall lights went out before the second picture was taken, and most of them went out for the third. :D Someone wanted us to leave. :)

It was another wonderful seminar with the added delight of seeing old "Friends" again and new "Friends" for the first time.
Valerie and I met up with Chris and her mother the next day and enjoyed spending time with them. We were able to check the board from my room and we all had a nice dinner together later. Two mother-daughter teams together, sharing some great conversations.

I better get some things done around here now. My day to do laundry was yesterday so I need to do it today.

Lots of details are still unsaid. The rest of you should have some more things to share.

Hello everyone! I'm glad all of you got home safe and sound. My husband and I stayed overnight on Friday, and planned to do a little gambling on Saturday, but when we saw the weather worsening, we changed our minds real quick, and decided to leave for home instead. The winds were terrible, and as I exited our hotel via the revolving door, I almost became airborne. lol

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed meeting all of you. Gail, through our e-mails I already felt like we were old friends. I was so happy to meet you finally, as well as Valerie, Phigalilly, Sandy, Lou, Angelina, Chris, Amy and everybody else who was there. You are such a nice warm bunch of people! :D Sorry if I left anyone out!

Sandy, thanks so much for that cute little angel ornament. That was very thoughtful. It will be the first thing I hang on our tree this year. :)

I didn't take notes either, and really do not remember anything to add to what's been said already. Did anyone mention that Terry, the sex educator that was featured in one of the "CO" episodes a while back, was there at the Friday night seminar? Other than that, I can't think of anything else.

I wanted to say I had a great time with all the JEFriends (as usual). I especially wanted to thank Gail and Valerie. We spent a good part of Saturday together passing the time. You two are very good company! Mom told me to tell you she also had a great time.

I also enjoyed meeting the JEFriends I met for the first time, and was happy to see the not so new faces of JEFriends I had met before. It's always a pleasure. Sandy, thank you for the Angel. It will be on my tree as soon as it goes up.

Sorry it's taken me this long to post. I did take notes at the 12/4 seminar but had to give up after the 7th reading because I decided it was time for me to sit back so I could observe and absorb all of the positive energy that was present. My notes are in fragments (I do not do shorthand) so I hope they make sense.

Sandy, big THANKS!!! to you for saving us a place in line. It was wonderful to meet you and your family. I hope you had an uneventful trip back home. AmyRose, sorry we didn't have more of a chance to chat.

Thursday night there must have been over 3,600 people in the auditorium. My husband (the financial analyst) had to count the number of rows and number of seats in each row.

When John was talking to us, he mentioned how it can be hard for him to leave home, especially now that Justin is old enough to wave "bye-bye" to him as he is leaving. He told us that Sandra was also there and pointed to where she was on the left hand side of the room.

During the first reading, John referenced the song sung by Linda Etter, "Let it Fly". The woman being read had a brother who had crossed over (Mike). There was a "moped reference". John also was getting the name "Ann" who turned out to be a grandmother. The woman's grandfather had passed. John referenced Johnny or a "J" name, which turned out to be "Jake". A name beginning with "T" was "Tom (father and brothers' name) The 28th of a month had significance (a birthday). John also got a reference of a "royal dog" or "crown" which could not be validated. There was also a question asked about whether someone had paid someone else back.

The second reading was to another woman who was near the first person who had been read. This person had a son who committed suicide. His brother has been wearing his slippers. There was a "B" name (Brian) and a military base connection (brother Philip is in the Navy). Someone in the family is pregnant. John said the baby was going to be a boy.

The 3rd reading was to another woman. John said that her son was coming through "very loud". There was a "C" name referenced (Cordelia). The son claimed responsibility for the music going on and off in the room where an older male had died. Tere was a funny story about bleach/clorox. I don't remember if that was ever validated.
John received an urgent message for the son's ex-girlfriend as her son had been very sick. John asked if the illness had been diagnosed because he was hearing "e-coli" with regard to this boy. He told the mom to please call that family so they could have the child re-evaluated. The son said he had "Rosie or Rose" with him (grandmother - Rose) who was connected to a "Helen or Ellen". The woman could not validate this last name. John told her to go to the side of the family that she didn't know or didn't want to talk about (husband or father's family).
John asked if the son's best friend had gotten married after he passed because he would've been the best man. John said the son was acknowledged in some way at the wedding.
John then told the person being read to go to the alcoholic side of the family.
An August birthday was for her mom; there was a May 2nd birthday also validated. The 6th or 16th of a month also had significance (her husband's birthday is on the 16th).
John asked the woman if she had just changed the tires.
The son acknowledged he had "made the paper" after he passed and thought he looked quite handsome. Per Mom, a younger photo was used. 2:00 AM was significant as that was when he was killed.
He relayed that he had "Danny" with him. Danny was connected to a family not at the seminar but the Mom knew.
John said he was getting information that someone who was diabetic or on a diet had had a Frosty or milkshake.
A reference to cigarettes in a red and white box was not validated.
The son suffered an infury to his head. Per John, nothing could have been done. The son referenced a "dip in the road" relative to his crossing over and also relayed that something had come up in the same area prior to his passing.

Reading 4 is next.

This reading was when the security guard had people come through for her. She was a reluctant participant until John reassured her that she would NOT get in trouble with the management. John said he had 4 energies trying to get his attention. "Charles" was a energy to her side (turned out to be brother-in-law still here). Another male energy was either an older brother or father. John referenced stomach or liver cancer. This woman was raised by her grandmother/aunt. North Carolina connection - mother was raised there.
John told her that she was being described as a "silent giver" and these energies were applauding her for that. John received information with regard to a health issue; something (possible gyn problem) was "going on" in the physical body that she needed to pay attention to and not ignore.

5th Reading was for a woman whose Dad passed from lung cancer or emphysema. Also got a reference to "Joe" or "Joseph" and a "5" connection. Mom energy with possible neurological problems came through. John received a reference to "throwing fish" in Seattle. The woman's sister validated that her friend had just told her a "fish" story. John got a "cupcake" reference that was very puzzling. As it turned out, this "Cupcake" was a game that this family played at their dinner table.

6th Reading - A male energy "Joe" acknowledged a Sept. 11th passing. He had worked in the WTC and had just received a promotion. A "C" or "K" name (Katie) had also worked in the WTC. A reference to something being left behind was validated by Joe's wife as she said she had found his hat collection in their garage, which he normally had with him in his office.
A reference to the musical "Oklahoma" was validated; Joe's brother was in this play during High School. This family was given the message to "embrace the holidays" this year and to say "Hello" to a "Louie or Louise"


7th Reading - As John was scanning the audience, he said how he was going to have to put someone on the spot. He was getting a reference to someone who worked at a counter or cash register and who felt that they were being underpaid. He thought it was someplace like a video store or a deli. When this person was left alone at the register he/she would attempt to make a "salary adjustment."
A woman finally stood up and said it might be her. An "A" name turned out to be connected to her father who died of congestive heart failure.
July or the 7th of a month was significant.
A tatoo reference was validated by the woman who had a tatoo on her leg.
Message from her father was that he is proud of what she has accomplished in her life, but that she needed to learn to step back and replenish herself.
A smoking issue was brought up; The father said that the daughter would be hugely tested. The woman said she had quit smoking six months ago.
The father had a tube down his throat; had some trouble passing. Even though he was delusional or different when he was passing, John reassured the daughter that this condition only affected the physical body and not the energy that was her father.
Father taught daughter how to play poker. Congratulated her on her "big win". Daughter said it wasn't that big.
John asked her if she had a Catholic background because dad was bringing up "Ave Maria". Woman validated this reference; her aunt's niece sings in church.

I don't remember if this part was a continuation of the previous reading or if he was starting a new one.

Someone passed in a vehicle accident. John said he was getting a "major L" name like Laurie or Laura.
(At this point, John came striding right down the middle aisle, and walked right past me to get to the area that he was being pulled to. I turned around to watch him (I was in an aisle seat) and stopped taking notes.)

I hope all of this information wasn't too long or confusing. I'm actually surprised that I actually got so much information written down as I don't do speed writing either!!

The seminar was wonderful. This was a first for my husband. He watches CO with me and believes totally in ADC. He said he was glad he got the chance to see John in person and that he doesn't need to go to another seminar. Well, he might feel that way, but I sure don't. I am looking forward to going to the Baltimore and/or Washington, D.C. seminars in 2004 and bringing other family members with me!!
