Grassroots effort on TV Guide channel!

I'm sitting here channel surfing in Dallas -- Comcast Cable Line Up--Digital Channel 6 just mentioned savejohnedwardtv.com. Wow -- And topped 4100 sigs-- Too cool!!

At 8:00 Chicago time Save John Edward was mentioned and the petition site was shown! Who ever got the info to them deserves our thanks and gratitude! Job VERY well done!

I emailed TV Guide a while back, pointing out that the lastest issue is about God and TV. I also said the only reality show they mentioned," Crossing Over", was the one cancelled. Hope it helped.

I have Dish - what's the TV Guide channel? Someone sent me a message (not a board member) that they saw SAVEJETV on this channel. Is it a cable thing?

Pam,

We have Comcast cable and the TV Guide channel is just that, it is a channel that shows what's on and it covers about an hour of viewing. They also have "Hosts" that occationally talk about what's going on with entertainment. Ususally people only watch it for a few minutes at a time, but it takes several minutes to view all channels and what they have on at any given time. (They only show 3 channels at a time as it rolls through them)

Could someone please tape it so we can have it for our archives and know exactly what they said? They said something about doing a segment on CO on another show "The watercooler" ??

When I heard the segment they also said they were going to "review" Crossing Over this Friday, but they didn't say on what show. I have to be out most of the day but I'll leave a tape recording. They repeat things over and over (YEAH!) so hopefully I'll catch it.

My friend saw it too, I've asked her to tape it if she sees it again.

She's down in Virginia.

"The guy was talking about John's show and the "grass roots" group and site that was trying to save it. He even mentioned the site url and it was put across the screen. They are supposed to talk about John again on one of thier little spots later this week. I'll see if I can hear anymore about it."

It's a TV listings channel and she's just on normal cable.

He does things for TV guide....Hmm I wonder..I have the TVGuide station on now and so far I havent seen it
