im so happy there are more small seminars!! im going to try and call in for tickets for my mom's friends and I. the last time i didnt get thru so who knows. i just remind myself that who's ever meant to be there will be there.

im anxious as well to see when he's going to be in chicago and wallingford. i would want to take my mom to chicago again since we had a really nice time the last time--we went for the weekend and did some sight seeing. so maybe she would want to go again, depending on the dates. i really wish there was some news about that retreat.

well im glad to see that even though the show has stopped, that he is continuing his seminars!! that makes me happy!!

so i guess we'll just have to wait and see about the dates! :cuser:

I also got tickets for the 10th. Hope a lot of you called and got through. There may still be tickets available.

I had no intention of even trying but decided to when I saw Beth's post. Getting through after about 5 tries surprised me and almost made me tongue tied. :D

I did ask the wonderful woman who answered, not Carol, but another of her assistants, to tell John not to be upset at seeing more familiar faces. :) She recognized my name.

It's OK to mention dates since the dates are publicly posted on John's site. Don't post where they will be except that they will be on Long Island. That is also public knowledge.

hey thats awesome you got thru for tickets!!!! ive been trying to get them for my mom's friends and me but no luck whatsoever!!! its constantly busy!!! but im going to keep trying.. you didnt happen to get any extra tix did you? lol oh well ill keep on trying.

I'll be there with my sister on the 10th too. She was able to get through ealier this afternoon and there were still tickets available for both the 10th and 17th.

My sister and I were able to get tickets for the May 17th seminar along with several of the wonderful ladies that we met at the Feb 1st Bridges seminar! Today was my sister's birthday. After calling for about 45 minutes I told her she needed to say a prayer to our father and ask for a little help...she was just finishing up when I got through! This is the second time it happened like that!

Juie we are going to miss you!

I had told my daughter she should call in for one of those new dates in May since she hasn't ever been to a seminar. When I spoke to her via the phone yesterday I asked her if she had remembered to call. Sure enough, she had forgotten about it. I gave her the phone number and told her to try to get through.

She said she tried calling and kept getting a busy signal. I told her she had to keep hitting the redial button. After she hung up with me, she said to herself that she would keep trying for one hour.

She said Sylvia Brown was on a talk show that she was watching at the same time. People in the audience were asking her how they could contact people on the other side and she was providing them with suggestions.

My daughter said she tried to envision her phone call traveling through the phone wires but when she tried calling again, it rang and rang for awhile but then disconnected - this happened twice.

She then decided to give it one more try but before she dialed again, she pictured the person she wants to connect with and wrote that person's name down on a piece of paper and the next call went through.

She told me that she couldn't remember what the dates were, but when she was asked what date she wanted, she blurted out May 17th as it is Norwegian Independence Day (which my family has always observed). She got 4 tickets and is just tickled.

After I talked with her, I tried calling and I got through too!! We will be there on the 17th. We are in the process of figuring out who all to bring with us (still on this side:D ).

I am hoping to meet more "Friends" who will also be there on the 17th!

I didn't get through:( What a horrible day at work--I had about 5000 things to do & nothing was going right. I kept calling (no redial) & kept getting the busy signal. I was so engrossed in my calling, I almost forgot to call our payroll company to give my employees hours for the past 2 weeks (they would have really loved me:lwink: ) Anyway, I finally gave up & HAD to get some work done. John always says, "if you're meant to be there, you will be." I guess I'm not meant to be there, buy WHY:shrug: ? I truly don't care if I get a reading, I just love to watch him in action (which, I guess, is WHY I'm not meant to be there). Congrats to all of you who got through.

wow i am so happy because i found out that my close friends got tickets to the first seminar in may!

see i grew up with their kids when they lived in my neighborhood and i remember a few years ago, their aunt kathy had a private reading by john--that was when i first heard about him. i dont know if you remember but about a month ago i had mentioned them in the prayer list because their grandma, Patricia, had died from cancer. i had known her and it was truly a loss for everyone. so ever since then they have always been in my prayers and i had prayed for patricia to get in contact with them. i truly believe that she helped them get tickets for this upcoming seminar--whether they get read or not i believe they are meant to be there--just like everyone else! and it was funny because today my best friend megan who i hadnt seen since the funeral and her mom stopped by and her mom, susan that me and my mom are friends with, she was like, "guess who kathy and i got tickets for! John Edward!!" my mouth literally dropped! i had tears of joy for them!!! i am so happy that they got tickets. so yeah i just had to post immediately!! so congratulations to them and everyone else who got tickets! you all will be in my prayers for an amazing expereince! god bless!!!:lwink:
